Millie is a 2-year-old cat who came into our lives as a gift from a friend. She shares our home with her brother, and the two are deeply bonded, always together, grooming each other and curling up side by side. She's been part of our family since she was a kitten. In May, Millie completed a course of GS-441524 liquid treatment for FIP at Animal Hospital of Danville. We thought she had turned a corner. Now she has severe, uncontrollable diarrhea and a badly bloated belly, signs pointing to a possible relapse. She urgently needs to resume treatment before this progresses further. Millie is inseparable from her brother, and watching them together is one of the great joys of our home. She has a gentle, affectionate presence and has been through so much already with her FIP battle. Her resilience through treatment has only deepened how much our whole family loves her. Right now we don't have the funds for Millie's medication refill, which costs $145. Facing a possible FIP relapse with no money set aside is frightening. Any support would go directly toward getting her back on treatment and giving her the chance to fully recover.

Loki is 17 years old! I got her and her Sister Naven( we lost last year) when they were six weeks old!Two little girls were walking by our house, and they were dipping them in my little girls pool. Said Mom just got ran over. We took them in. Loki is always by my side she is my best furiend!!!! I am looking for a job! Loki has had a couple kidney issues. I owe the vet two hundred, need flea treatment, and special food! I'm not sure when her next round of antibiotics will be. I want her quality of life to be what she deserves!! Loki is my baby, everyone loves her! There is no doubt she is a mommies girl! I love her with all my heart, as we speak she is sleeping next to me on my notebook. She sits on it every time I try to write! I substitute teach schools been out for summer, and when school starts back up it usually takes a bit to get work. Sophie had been in our life for 3 years now and is the sweetest girl ever! I volunteered for dogs day out and after just a few hours with her I knew I had to adopt her. We had an instant bond, my other rescue dog gravitated towards her immediately and my daughter couldn’t help but fall in love. Prior to us adopting her, Sophie spent some time in a shelter and before that she was a stray. Sophie needs medial patellar luxation surgery on both back knees plus an ACL tear repair. The unfortunate bad knees is something that hereditary and the acl tear must of happened while playing with our other rescue dog. Both back knees are a stage 4 which requires surgery in order for her to live a full happy life. Sophie absolutely adores her dog brother Oliver and they enjoy wrestling and cuddling together. She loves a game of tug a war and is a huge couch potato. She snuggles between us every night and loves getting all the human attention. She’s very sweet and gentle with my rambunctious toddler. She hardly barks and will not run from us even if the door is left open. Sophie’s knees cause her lots of pain, she’s on pain pills and takes it easy most of the time. Although she’s still a very happy dog, this surgery will be life changing for her. She’s only 3 and has a whole life ahead of her. We would love to get her back out enjoying life.

MJ is my 13-year-old indoor cat and a beloved member of our family. He lives with me, my boyfriend, and our other cat, JJ. He is affectionate, loves to cuddle, and follows me from room to room. He has been my constant companion through life’s hardest moments and is deeply loved. MJ was hospitalized at Akeso Veterinary Clinic after suddenly stopping eating. A veterinary radiologist diagnosed him with a functional ileus, likely related to pancreatitis or a gastrointestinal illness. He is receiving IV fluids, medications, and nutrition through a nasogastric (NG) feeding tube while his intestines recover. MJ isn’t just a pet he’s family. For 13 years, he’s been my shadow, my comfort, and my best friend. He greets me at the door, follows me everywhere, and curls up beside me every night. His gentle, loving personality has carried me through some of life’s hardest moments, and our home wouldn’t be the same without him. MJ’s hospitalization has created an unexpected financial hardship. Any support will help cover his lifesaving care and give him the best chance to recover. Bringing my best friend home healthy would mean more to me than words can express.

Toby came into my life under very special circumstances. His original owner was one of my closest friends, who passed away after battling cancer. Before she died, I promised her that I would care for Toby for the rest of his life. For approximately four years, Toby has been suffering from severe and recurring ear infections. At first, treatments were necessary every few months, but as his condition worsened, they became more frequent. His veterinarian has now recommended bilateral TECA surgery to relieve his chronic pain and improve his quality of life. The name of the hospital is Banfield Pet Hospital. Toby is a sweet and intelligent dog that is always intrigued by other animals, whether its a dog, cat, squirrel, or turtle, he is can make friends with anyone. Everyone at the park knows him as "Super Toby." One day, he saved another dog from running into a busy street leading to a freeway. Since that day, everyone has affectionately called him a superhero. As a senior living in San Francisco, the cost of the surgery is beyond my financial means, and I was forced to postpone the procedure because I could not afford it. To see Toby not suffer and not be in pain anymore would mean to world to me and everyone who loves him.

After the heartbreaking loss of a newborn kitten that we were caring for also named Litten, and an orange baby, we decided to adopt another orange baby from the local shelter. Named Litten the second, he came home with us and immediately became part of our family, including our 4 other rescue cats. As a typical orange kitty, he was full of craziness and life and brought so much fun and joy 🤩 We are now faced with an emergency, life threatening situation that was rapid. The ER veterinarians have told us if we don’t get diagnostic testing and treatment immediately that he will pass away. He is currently receiving treatment at MarQueen Emergency Hospital in Upland, Ca. They have also said he should be hospitalized because he is quickly declining and in a catatonic state at this time. Litten is the most playful, lively and loving kitty we’ve ever had. He’s constantly seeking attention and playmates. Mischievous in nature, he will get the “zoomies” and almost literally bounce off the walls.. His favorite toy, his stuffed “rocket ship” he periodically drops it in the toilet but we’ve never had the heart to throw it away. His rapid decline has been tragic. After exhausting funds for his initial testing and procedures, we are at a place where we can no longer pay for what he needs and will have to euthanize him. The night she came to me she started to cry in her kennel and I told her be quiet, baby girl and the name just stuck. She is my best friend. She got me through many heartaches. She is the kindest sweetest animal you will ever meet. She is highly intelligent, comforts those around her with the gentlest touch, kids climb on her she never lets them down. The gentle giant of the neighborhood. started noticing some lumps on her. We took her in. They said they are benign tumors. They are causing problems with her spine and making it difficult for her to walk around and we believe she is suffering, but she can’t tell us that the name of the hospital is Lewiston Veterinary Clinic. In Lewiston Idaho. We need to raise 2k- 3k estimates to have her tumors removed. Our pet loves everyone. She loves it when the kids come over and pet her from the neighborhood. She has her favorite stuffed animals that she plays with. She loves to roll on her back and play outdoors in the sunshine. She likes to swim she loves camping with her family. We have other pets. We have Pomeranian puppy, that she very gently play fights with. He’ll run and leap off her head to couch. I I do what I can for her. I spend all my extra money on her pain medication, but I’m on a fixed income and I can’t afford to help her. Please help her be pain free again.

Leon came into our lives when we were still living in MN. We knew we wanted a French Bulldog named Leon, we just had to find him. In April 2024, Don sent me a link to a puppy. I replied, is this Leon? There were so many signs saying yes. Like, his mom’s name was Katie, my name is Katie. His dad’s name was Yoshi, Don’s old dog’s name was Yoshi. We had indeed found our Leon! At the end of July 2026 our world turned upside down. Leon was taken to Veterinary Neurological Center in Phoenix & diagnosed with mild L7-S1 intervertebral disc protrusion, non-compressive, contusive T14-L1 intervertebral disc herniation with associated thoracolumbar epaxial muscle hyperintensity. What does this mean? He is paralyzed. He will never use his back legs again & will have many challenges. Leon is our little man… full of personality and love. He loved playing “spaceship” and going on walks with Don. It’s heartbreaking he will never be able to again. He loves cheese, popcorn & watermelon. Since moving to Arizona, we have struggled to find work in our career industry. Leon’s medical bills are overwhelmingly almost $10,000. We will need monthly supplies (diapers, wipes, etc), doggy wheels & treatments (acupuncture & laser therapy).
