Yuki

Yuki is a 17 year old Poodle in Los Angeles, CA, who needs $9,000 for Dental Cleaning and Extraction.

Los Angeles, CA

Yuki is a 17 year old doggy, she has been a part of my life since she was 2 weeks old. She is the first dog that I have ever owned and has been with me throughout my 20's and now late 30's. She has been with me through thick and thin. I name her Yuki (which means snow in Japanese) because the person that sold her to me, at a bank parking lot, told me she was part poodle and part Japanese chin. In 2021 Yuki got diagnosed with both pancreatitis and cancer. Luckily the cancer was resolved with surgical removal but her health has not been the same since and has caused me to go into financial debt. 3 months ago one of her molars broke due to plaque and has been causing her severe pain and I just don't have the money or credit to get it fixed. I take her to VCA in Long Beach, CA. Yuki is the sweetest dog that I have ever known. She thinks everyone and everything is utter and pure love. Yuki will not even hurt a fly! She has provided relentless unconditional love to me and to my family. She is my first dog and I love her so much that words could not describe. I feel like I am drowning in worry and sorrow. Vet bills keep piling up and I don't know what to do. I graduated in 2023 from university but have not been able to find a job. I feel stuck between two walls and am drowning in debt. I have never experienced this before and Yuki's vet bills keep piling up. I need help so I can help get her tooth extracted. Please help!

Help Music City Animal Rescue keep saying YES to animals in need.

Nashville, TN • Music City Animal Rescue

At Music City Animal Rescue, our work doesn't stop with the animals who need the most intensive medical care. We have senior pets, special-needs animals, long-term residents, puppies, kittens, and so many others waiting for their chance at a forever home. Every single one of them depends on us—and on you. There are so many behind-the-scenes costs that keep a rescue running. Our liability insurance alone costs approximately $2,100 a year. Without it, we can't participate in adoption events or fundraisers, making this coverage essential to our ability to save lives. Earlier this year, an ice storm completely destroyed the building on our property where we stored our rescue supplies. Now, we have to rent a storage building at $150 per month to keep our crates, food, and other essential supplies safe and accessible. And then there are the animals themselves. We currently have three puppies who came into our care at just 5 weeks old. Before they can find loving homes, each will need complete veterinary care, including vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neuter surgery, food, and preventatives. We estimate that each puppy will cost approximately $250–$300 to prepare for adoption. We also have multiple groups of kittens and their mothers who will need the same care. Every animal we rescue represents another set of veterinary bills, food, medications, supplies, and daily care. That's why we're asking for your help. Your donation to Music City Animal Rescue doesn't just help one animal—it helps all of them. It helps keep our doors open, our supplies stocked, our animals healthy, and our rescue moving forward. It helps us care for the animals who may take longer to find homes and gives us the ability to say "yes" when the next animal desperately needs somewhere safe to go. No donation is too small, and every single one is greatly appreciated. Whether you can give $5, $25, or $100, your support makes a difference. Thank you for standing behind Music City Animal Rescue and helping us continue our mission of saving lives, one animal at a time.

Max

Max needs your help to make the most of his remaining time.

Nashville, TN • Music City Animal Rescue

Max is around 11 or 12 years old, and just like his brother Sporty, he is one of the sweetest, most loving boys you could ever meet. Sadly, Max's health is declining, and he is now in the end stages of heart failure. Max takes several medications to help keep him comfortable and give him the best quality of life possible, including Enalapril, Vetmedin, and Lasix. These medications are essential to his care, but they are also expensive. Because of the Lasix, Max also struggles with incontinence and needs belly bands to help keep him comfortable and clean. Despite everything his little body is going through, Max still finds joy in the simple things. He loves his soft beds, cozy blankets, good food, and being close to the people who love him. Right now, Music City Animal Rescue's goal is to make every moment he has left as comfortable and peaceful as possible. They urgently need your help to continue providing Max with the medications, senior food, belly bands, and supplies he needs. They don't know how much time they have left with this precious boy, but they do know he deserves to spend whatever time remains feeling safe, warm, comfortable, and loved. Please consider donating today to help Max. Even a small gift can help them keep up with the ongoing cost of his medications and care. Max has spent his life loving people. Now it's our turn to make sure he knows just how deeply he is loved.

Sporty

Sporty needs your help in his golden years.

Nashville, TN • Music City Animal Rescue

Sporty is a sweet senior boy, around 11 years old, who came into Music City Animal Rescue alongside his brother, Max. When they were surrendered, Sporty had severely damaged teeth and several large lipomas, or fatty tumors, that needed attention. They knew he deserved to feel comfortable, so Sporty underwent a full dental procedure and had his large lipomas removed. Thankfully, he's now doing well and enjoying his days with his brother in the loving care of their foster hospice mom. As Sporty gets older, he does have some special needs. He requires small-bite senior dry food and enjoys having wet food mixed in, too. He also has a new tumor that has started to grow. Thankfully, it isn't causing him any trouble right now, and given his age, they may decide that the kindest option is to leave it alone and simply keep a close eye on it. Their goal now is simple: to give Sporty and Max the happiest, most comfortable golden years possible—together. But they can't do it without you. They're asking for your support to help cover the cost of his dental procedure and surgery to have his fatty tumors removed, along with the food, medications, and supplies he needs to live a comfortable life. Every donation, no matter the size, helps them continue caring for Sporty in the loving home they deserve. As the medical bills stack up, we are thankful for your help in giving Sporty the love and comfort he deserves in his golden years.

Sassy

Please help this senior sweetie through extensive medical needs.

Nashville, TN • Music City Animal Rescue

Sassy is a precious senior girl who may weigh barely 5 pounds, but she has a personality that fills the room! At approximately 10 years old, this little lady loves being the center of attention and is being treated like the tiny princess she truly is. Unfortunately, Sassy arrived at Music City Animal Rescue with some serious medical needs. She has severe dental disease and at least one fairly large mammary tumor that will need to be removed and tested to determine whether it is cancerous. She also wasn't spayed before coming into rescue. Sassy's upcoming medical care will include a full dental procedure, removal and biopsy of her mammary tumor(s), and a spay. It's a lot for such a tiny senior girl, but they're committed to giving her the care she needs so she can finally enjoy the comfortable, happy life she deserves. Once her veterinary care is complete, Sassy already has a forever home waiting for her. Until then, Music City Animal Rescue has the honor of caring for this sweet little princess and making sure she gets everything she needs to heal. They're asking for your help to cover Sassy's medical expenses. Your donation will help pay for her dental care, surgeries, testing, and recovery. Every gift, no matter the size, helps give this tiny senior the chance to start her next chapter healthy and pain-free. We truly appreicate your support.

Sprite

Please help Sprite who is now adjusting to life without eye sight.

Nashville, TN • Music City Animal Rescue

Sprite is a beautiful white Husky who was found as a stray in Nashville, TN. When he entered Music City Animal Rescue's program, he was extremely thin and in poor condition. It was clear that this young boy, estimated to be around 4 years old, had been through a lot. Sprite is blind, but thankfully, he still has his hearing. They don't believe he has been blind his entire life, which has made adjusting to his new reality especially difficult. Imagine suddenly losing your ability to see the world around you and having to learn how to navigate everything from scratch. That's the challenge Sprite is facing right now. Because of his medical needs, Sprite is part of their Golden Guardian program, which helps provide the specialized care and support he needs as he learns to live comfortably without his sight. Despite everything he's been through, Sprite deserves the chance to feel safe, loved, and secure. With patience, medical care, and a supportive environment, we're hopeful that he'll gain confidence and learn that being blind doesn't mean he can't have a wonderful life. Music City Animal Rescue is asking for your help to give Sprite the care he needs. Your donation will help provide his veterinary care, nutrition, medications, and the ongoing support necessary to help him adjust and thrive. If you can't donate, please consider sharing Sprite's story. Every share helps them reach someone who may be able to help this sweet boy on his journey toward a brighter future.
