Sascha

Sascha is a 6 year old Great Dane in Somerset, KY, who needs $8,000 for MRI, Surgical Repair, ER and Hospitalization.

Somerset, KY

We adopted a special needs baby in Feb 2019. At that time we had a senior boxer and a lab with hip dysplasia. As he grew they become attached to each other. When he was 18mths old we tragically lost our boxer and he was 11 yrs old. Our lab was lost without him and our son loved Scooby Doo so we adopted Sascha. We made the hard decision to put our lab down 6mths later and adopted another 1 4 him On July 11th on a family camping trip Sascha started limping and not wanting to come in and out of the camper. On July 12 she started yelping in pain when she moved. On July 13 we went to the vet and had xrays done and she was diagnosed with a bulging disc and possible IVDD. We are needint to go to Metropolitan ER Vet in Louisville KY for MRI and surgery and she is currently on strict rest. She is our 7yr old sons best friend. She has grown up being his protector and his best friend. They do everything together. She was so gentle with him thru 2 brain surgeries and never left his sight at home. She lets him play toys on or around her and just sits and watched him. She is the 1st to greet him at the door when he comes in from school, etc. He doesnt understand why she isnt doing that n I recently lost my job after 13 yrs and have been playing catch up on some bills, We are currently behind and in a pymt plan for our mortgage and am paying bills at disconnect in order to be able to afford groceries and vet bills, I also have a senior cat that in is kidney f

Honey

Honey is a 16 year old Mix-Breed in Maspeth, NY, who needs $1,197 for Diagnostics.

Maspeth, NY

Honey is part of a pair of 4 month old kittens I rescued from my block.Just him and his brother creamy. They would stay out side my front door and nurse. One day the mom never came back fir them, summer 2010. So I took them. He is an adorable orange and white tabby. He,his brother and I have developed a deep bond from day one. He has been pretty healthy until 2025 His health started declining. He is a lovable and somewhat jealous boy that wants all the attention. He gets jealous if u pay attention to his brother. He loves food and sitting in my lap.But he is nit a cuddle at night when it's time for bed. I am on assistance at thus time. In October 2925 he developed what seems ti be a facial abscess.I believe that because at least 2 times before,it has gone down.It blew up again. I've been all over the place trying to find a way to get him help. The swelling on his face right now is si big,it swallowed up his left eye. I saw a vet two days ago with a office exam contribution from a non profit that can not contribute more than $150. For 2 of my cats, whi both have emergencies right now. She,dr.Hess at glendale vet clinic, told me what diagnostics have to be done and the cost The cost for his diagnostics would be $2083.67 plus whatever treatment he will need after those tests and he needs the giant swelling on his face drained plus meds.I have hit a brick wall with this trying to find help for months.I want to help him so much Thus is my baby.

Collette

Brave Girl Who Survived The Streets of LA

Perryville, MO • Bichon Rescue Brigade

Collette was found living on the streets of Los Angeles and at only 7 pounds, it had taken a devastating toll on her tiny body. By the time she arrived at the county shelter, Collette was suffering from painful puncture wounds around her neck and legs from being attacked, an injured left leg with an open wound, a mammary mass, and a fractured fibula. Thankfully, Bichon Rescue Brigade stepped in to give her the care she needs. Despite everything she’s endured, Collette has remained incredibly sweet, trusting, and full of hope. She greeted her rescuers with gentle eyes and a wagging tail, proving that her loving spirit survived even when her body had been through so much. After rescue, Collette was immediately examined by a veterinarian. Thankfully her fractured fibula is healing and does not require surgery as of now and the mass is not dangerous. Now that Collette is finally safe, her biggest medical need is her upcoming spay surgery and continued follow-up veterinary care to ensure she stays healthy as her injuries heal. These expenses, along with her examinations, medications, and treatment, add up quickly for a rescue that never hesitates to save medical dogs from high kill shelters with nowhere else to turn. Collette’s future is finally bright, but she still needs your help to get there. Your donation will help cover the cost of her spay procedure and the veterinary care she needs to complete her recovery. Every gift gives this resilient little girl another chance to leave her painful past on the streets behind.
