Sabril is an adorable pit bull–husky puppy bursting with energy and joy. Her foster family and everyone at A Pathway to Hope absolutely adore her. After cutting her foot on ice, Sabril needed sutures to close a painful wound. Unfortunately, because of where the injury is located, and her love of zoomies and playtime, healing has not been easy. She has already undergone two procedures on her paw, weeks of care, and has incurred thousands of dollars in medical expenses. Since her accident, sweet Sabril has been limited to leash walks and wearing a cone. Her energy is bottled up, and all she wants is to run, play, and simply be a carefree puppy again. Her foster family is working tirelessly to comfort her and support her recovery every step of the way. They are fully committed to getting Sabril the care she needs so she can heal and find her forever home. This is what makes A Pathway to Hope so special…our fosters don’t just open their homes, they open their hearts in the biggest, most selfless ways. I have been looking for a female dachshund for over a yearand finally found her through a local breeder. We named her Molly mouse because she is so cute and tiny. She was chewing on a meat stock and started choking. We rushed her to route 66 emergency vet and they found she has a heart murmur that caused congested heart failure and needs heart surgery right away or will not live past six months to a year She is so loving and playful. Loves snuggles and harrassing our corgi. She especially loves chewing on long hair. Molly is only 8 weeks old and loves her family Her heart surgery is approximately $15,000 and living in single income household that needs help to pay for the surgery to save her life. My son has only raised $270 and we are losing time

Nelson

Nelson is a 8 year old Rottweiler in Milton, WV, who needs $8,800 for Gallbladder/Liver Bacterial Infectiom.

Nelson was adopted by me from the doggy daycare that I used to work at. He arrived and I loved his name so he has always been Nelson. I call him Nelly, Smelly, and all sorts of names. He spent two nights in the ICU where they still were unable to pinpoint what was wrong but knew he was fighting an infection and that his liver enzymes had gone from slightly elevated to off the chart. After adding a second antibiotic his fever finally broke and they sent him home on Sunday. Now we have him at a specialist and it’s very expensive and we’re running out of options. Nelson is the most amazing dog ever. Anyone who meets him instantly falls in love with him. He has a kitty brother who is absolutely obsessed with him and looks at him like his father. He loves to play. He loves to be outside. He is a very vocal dog who loves to sing in the middle of the night. He’s our best friend and we couldn’t even fathom going without his love and tenderness. We’ve had him in the emergency room four times in a week. We have the money to take care of him thus far but depending on how much time he needs, our funds are being spent at a drastic rate. This is the last hope we have to get our son healthy again.

Commander

Commander is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Pasadena , TX, who needs $5,000 for Front Right Arm Amputation.

I helped birth Commander. From early on he was rather insouciant, earning him his name Commander. He didn't run with the rest of the pups. He didn't lay inside out of the rain when everyone else did. He laid outside and got wet. He didn't eat when they did. He ate when he wanted. Still to this day he will bark at you like he's talking if he wants something. Commander actually needs a leg amputated from being shot in some cross fire while we were in Mexico recently. I've got minimal but sufficient medical experience to stabilize him and keep the infection away but he still needs to be seen by a vet and more than likely have his front right arm removed. He's still in good spirits and happy but he really needs something done to his arm. Like I said he's always marched to the beat of his own drum. Specifically, he was known around Galveston Island for riding a motorcycle with me. When he was younger he took off from the yard one day in Houston and got picked up by BARC. Somehow he got adopted by the next morning and it took all day of walking around showing his picture to everyone before someone recognized him and helped. We had plans of settling in Mexico and finishing starting our own business but due to the obvious safety issues we ended up leaving everything behind and are basically starting back over here with nothing.

I lost both my dogs in the divorce, and fostering was the only thing keeping my heart from collapsing. Then a friend’s Pit–Husky litter needed homes. I was hesitant, scared of the stereotypes, but I agreed to try. When I met them, one pup walked straight to me, looked into me, and I just knew. He wasn’t a trial. He was home. Tonka had a TPLO surgery a couple years ago in his back left leg and they told me it was likely to happen in the other. They were right, It's time for the other leg now. It's agony to watch him forgo his greatest joy—our daily adventures on the trails—a ritual he lives for six days a week. It absolutely shatters me to see him lying by the door, his beautiful eyes pleading and confused as I leave for a walk, knowing he is trapped by pain and unable to join me. I lost my job last May due to, "Foreseen uncertainty in the Global Supply Chain" and have been a HS paraprofessional since Sept. I do not live lavishly but this paycheck gets me from one to the next. My and Tonka's happy place is on the trails and he can't even walk.

Sylvanas is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in San Juan, TX, who needs $10,000 for Stereotactic Radiation Therapy.

Sylvanas was 3 months old when we adopted her from Palm Valley Animal Shelter in 2015. She is a mix terrier with black hair. She was diagnosed with an adrenal tumor and a nasal tumor that cannot be surgically removed but can get treated with radiation therapy. She was diagnosed with an adrenal tumor and a nasal tumor that can be treated with radiation, we were told already that surgery will be too risky. Her life expectancy will increase if the radiation treatment is done as soon as possible. The veterinary clinic is PetCure in San Antonio TX I was not able to have kids of my own and Sylvanas was the first dog I adopted when I moved to Texas. She is a very special dog, she is protective and will ask for scratches in her back and her belly all the time. She is full of energy, she loves to eat and go in car rides, she adores my husband and he loves her like a child. This has been very unexpected and sudden, I am still struggling to pay for my school loans and had a financial impact when I went through cancer myself in 2024. Sylvanas is still full of energy and I know she can recover and have more years to share with us.

Today we found out she is having complications and will need to undergo another surgery to correct the issue. Sadie loves anyone and everyone. She is one of the most loving dogs and does not met a stranger. She lights up the room when she walks in and you can’t help but love her This is an unexpected expensive as we just paid for her last surgery under the impression her insurance would cover and they have since denied the claim

Ok so my little babies her name is Onyx and she was born from my hairless dog Little Bit and she was the one that was stuck inside her so i had to carefully pull her out. She is the runt.of them all she gets into everything and anything. It takes me 3 times to call her name before she comes to me lol. But she's my babie. She the one that helps me with my depression, anxiety and PTSD. So lastnight my son was playing with her and her color bone popped out.of place we took her to the emergency vet and all they did for her was give her a pain shot and said thay all they can do without payment and we have no money at all so we are asking for help to pay her vet and get her fixed please we have no money I struggle every month to supply for my family and it's hard. But we do it. Onyx has a favorite stuffed animal she takes that everywhere she goes if she's going outside for potty time she take it with her I have to wash other every other day because it gets dirty fast. My son cried to hard the night her arm popped out of place he felt like he did it but it wasn't his fault her arm had gotten stuck and it popped. She is my son's favorite dog she loves him so much. It would mean the world to us if you can help us pay the bill my family and I are asking on our knees to.please help us the 3rd picture will show you her broken collar bone. It's so sad cuz the vet couldn't even work with us in payments so we are looking to another vet.

Hi I have a precious little rescue she’s a 3 pound 4 ounce toy yorkie who at the time I had no idea she had so many medical issues other than malnourished I rescued her from a family who had 6 grown cats and lived in a pop up camper anyways I became disabled and had to move back home to my fathers no income at the moment any longer due to medical issues she is my entire world I can’t lose her She has had seizures and sometimes loses her eye sight and gets confused and runs in too walls and I had her tested it is 1 of her medical issues that is gonna kill her if I can’t get her help it’s a liver stunt she also has pyometra and I need to get her spayed all at the same time so she will not suffer any longer three trails hospital and Dr.shrock She’s is the love of my life and she gets so excited when she sees me doesn’t matter if I’m coming out of bathroom or home from hospital she loves everyone and gets so excited to go on car rides and her favorite thing is drive through windows she loves the people and she don’t think she’s a dog she’s mommas little princess she is so protective over me and the family from cats or another dogs Lost my mother to Covid and never learned how to grieve or cope with everyday life I was working at ford and went on leave and just couldn’t function anymore she has saved me and gives me hope and she loves me like no one has she’s my support dog
