Ollie was a very unexpected, but deeply cherished gift straight from heaven. Originally a rescue from a hoarding situation by my room-mate's friend who is a house cleaner. She was able to take him in temporarily, then given to my room-mate who was not prepared to care for a tiny puppy. So we elected to adopt him. He has since been our beloved angel baby, and changed our lives forever and ever. Rapidly progressive onset of a seizure disorder of unknown origin; currently in very early stages of diagnostics, & desperately looking for an underlying cause. Were able to initiate a diagnostic workup with True Companions Vet Clinic. Next step is moving forward with additional testing to show whether or not the cause is relative to health issues rather than neurological or idiopathic. He is the sweetest, most loving little creature on the planet. He has the goofiest personality, loves to snuggle, and is incredibly intelligent. His nicknames are Ollie-Bear/Baby Bear, and Boopie. He loves to play and zoom around outside with his favorite toy "Mr. Squeaky Guy" and his friend Pablo (room-mate's dog). Loves to run very fast. His favorite foods are chicken and sweet potatoes. The costs of not only a diagnostic workup, but also his anti-convulsant meds, & more testing that will be necessary to find an answer & bring him some relief. As a low-income couple facing financial hardship, we'd do anything for him, but simply don't have the means.

Duke

Duke is a 1 year old Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois) in Oklahoma City, OK, who needs $4,509 for TPLO (Tibial Plateau leveling Osteotomy).

We adopted Duke from OKC Animal Shelter. We’ve had him about four months I think but not exact! Lol My 11 yr old daughter begged us for a month to get a dog so we went to the shelter and she picked Duke out. She knew right away he was the one. We have two cats one named Summer who also was adopted from the shelter and L’Oréal who we adopted from petsmart. Duke gets along great with them. Duke somehow tore his leg while playing outside. The vet said it’s a partial tear which can lead to a full tear. I had already spent 500 just in exams and finally found Cornerstone Veterinary Hospital in Oklahoma City. They were honest with me and I finally got some answers. We don’t have funds to spend. I didn’t get excepted for CareCredit. I can’t afford any other expenses. Duke loves to play and fetch balls. He’s a very active dog. After he hurt his leg he has trouble walking so he has to lay down and take breaks between. Me, husband and daughter have all formed a bond with him. He’s loving but does love to chase the cats. He loves kids, doesn’t like the lawn mower. My daughter especially has formed a bond with Duke. He helps her with anxiety issues and sleeping. I’m already maxed out on my current credit cards I’m trying to pay down. Between a mortgage, health insurance, car payment and insurance I’m left negative. Mote bills than income. It would mean the world to us to give Duke the future he deserves without pain

I've had my beautiful girl since she was 8 weeks old Unfortunately I've recently become homeless and have been living in my car or shelter when a pet friendly bed is available. She's my best friend, my safety and my heart. All of a sudden Cleeo had a seizure yesterday, and then another. It was absolutely heartbreaking and terrifying. She's never had one before and has been otherwise healthy. She's talkative, afraid of thunder, loves people and "talks" to everyone she meets. She's incredibly smart and knows words when i merely spell them. She's calm and a real dogs dog. She loves balls and sticks.She's a wonderful dog. I recently lost my home due to non paying tenants and am now homeless as I was evicted y the bank. I am disabled and my income source is CPPD; which isn't much at all. I really need to get her stabilized and stop her seizures. She needs a exam, blood work, meds & flea meds

Buttercup has been in our lives since she was a puppy. We also haven’t decided her sister, Leia, from the same litter. They are best friends and do everything together. Buttercup has been diagnosed with oral cancer, she is currently being seen by FETCH animal hospital in Clearwater Florida. Buttercup is in need of radiation and a CT scan. She is currently on medication to help with inflammation. Buttercup is our family mascot. She is a joy and loves everyone. She will give you kisses and will cuddle with you all day. She puts a smile on everyone’s face. She’s been by our side through life’s happiest moments and its toughest days, offering unconditional love, comfort, and loyalty without ever asking for anything in return. I recently was laid off from my job and funds have been tight. The cost of surgery, treatments, medications, and follow-up care is overwhelming, and we can’t do it alone. This sweet little girls name is Luna. She is my emotional support dog. I rescued her back in 2020 and she has been with me ever since. My daughter adores her and they grew up together because Luna was only a year or two old when I rescued her. Luna was having issues keeping food down for a couple of days and I could not figure out why. I finally took her to the vet on Thursday and found out she was really sick. They checked her labs and took some films. Ultimately they told me at the end of our urgent care visit that she would need 3-5 days of hospitalization. Paw Prints was fantastic with her. Luna is special because she and my child grew up together. My daughter absolutely adores Luna and so do I. I really feel like I was meant to find her and bring her into our family. The doctor told me Luna was very sick and very dehydrated. She needed to stay for 3-5 days to get better. They told me her hospital stay would be around $1000 a day. I am a single mom trying to support my child and our apartment. I will be so happy to have my doggo home.

Kilo came into my life as more than a pet—he became family and a source of daily strength. We live in Sparks, Nevada, and have been rebuilding after hardship and domestic violence. He is loyal, playful, protective, and deeply bonded to me. He is strong, steady, and unforgettable. Kilo was badly injured in a vicious pitbull attack and has already received emergency care. He is now at Klaich Animal Hospital in Reno and needs surgery to amputate his front left leg. Dr. Patterson believes he is an excellent candidate and has a very good prognosis if treated. Kilo is special because he never gives up. Even hurt, he still tries to love, listen, and comfort me. He helps ground me through difficult episodes and has been an important part of my healing and stability. His playful spirit, loyalty, and courage make him one of a kind. We have been looking into getting him certified for service with my insurance and he is a huge part of my own therapy. I live on a fixed disability income, and this sudden attack created emergency costs I cannot cover alone. Local help is being pursued, but we still need gap funding for Kilo’s surgery. Getting him healthy means saving my best friend and giving him many more years.

Duke

Duke is a 5 year old German Shepherd Dog in Rochester, NY, who needs $5,400 for Surgery.

Duke came to me at a little over 7 weeks old. I always say that I didn't go get him, he came to us. Then he chose me to be his person. While he loves everyone in the family with all of his being, he is my best guy, and I make sure to tell him often. Unfortunately, he began to have seizures just before he turned 5. Unexplained and hard to diagnose where they come from. A little over a week ago, he had a seizure while resting on my couch. Unfortunately, our other dog tried to get him to come out of it and was too rough on him causing some life-threatening injuries that required emergency surgery and a Cornell visit. Duke loves all of the closest people and pets with all that he has. And his squeaky pig more than anything. He will play with that or a ball all day long. Right now, even through the pain, incisions and recovery, he still brings me the stinky squeaky pig and gets really frustrated when I won't throw it for him. This was a tragic accident that went really wrong. Unfortunately, the cost of the hospital stay and surgery is more than I have to cover. He will continue to have follow up appointments to check the progress and hopefully he will be back to some sort of normal.

Lilibet came into my family’s life when we needed her the most. The house was feeling lonely after loosing 2 dogs last year. She came with a spunk and attitude that stole our hearts. Her name comes from the queen. Lilibet was terrified from the 4th of july fireworks and found the smallest hole in the fence and bolted out of it. Nothing like she has ever done before. We spent all night looking for her, fortunately in the morning we found her barely holding on. She has severe hypothermia and her heart was barely beating. Lilibet has 2 other sisters and a brother. From the moment we brought her into our home, she fell in love with them immediately. Her sisters are her whole world. She follows them everywhere and just wants to be grown up like them. We want her back home where she is supposed to be. This is a major unexpected financial expense, but we will do anything for it sweet girl. Any amount of help will would be so greatly appreciated. Even a prayer for our baby, or sharing. God is good. It is a miracle that she is still here with us today.

I got Cali from a person in my neighborhood whose dog had accidentally gotten pregnant. I’ve had her since she was 2 months old. She’s always had minor treatable health issues related to her gut. She’s a very quiet and gentle girl. Cali has internal bleeding, pale gums and has lost weight. She needs blood tests done and an ultrasound to determine the cause of bleeding. If she doesn’t receive tests and treatment she may bleed out and die. If we can find the cause of bleeding she can receive treatment. Cali is a quiet girl she only barks when someone comes on the porch. She loves people and children. She loves to cuddle and mom is her favorite person. She loves getting treats and belly rubs. Most times she lays around chewing on her toys. She’s afraid of thunder, fireworks and the vacuum cleaner. She is my best friend. I lost my job due to a knee problem which has been fixed. I’m currently waiting for my background to clear for a new job. It’s been hard financially not having a job and Cali getting sick. She’s my emotional support and my everything. I need her as much as she needs me.
