Niner has been ours since the day he was born. A close family friend gifted him to us, and we have raised him for all five years of his life. He lives at home with his brother Happy and our four cats — Veronica, Rona, Luna, and Blue. We named him Niner because my dad is a diehard 49ers fan. From the very beginning, he hasn’t just been a pet he’s been family. Niner was recently diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma. This is an aggressive cancer that requires urgent surgery with wide margins followed by radiation therapy. In November 2025, he already endured emergency surgery after a bite injury in the same area. He recovered beautifully — but now we are facing cancer. It is treatable, and he has a real chance. We are fighting Niner is my shadow and my heart. He always wants to be by my side — whether I’m sitting, studying, or just walking through the house. He follows me everywhere and rests his head on me like he feels safest there. The way he looks at me is pure love and trust. His loyalty, gentle spirit, and constant presence have created a bond that feels deeper than words can explain. just finished nursing school and have not yet started my nursing position. I used my emergency savings for his first surgery in November. This cancer diagnosis came suddenly, and the cost of surgery and radiation is overwhelming.

Wiggles came into our lives as a rescue through Companion Pet Rescue. From the moment we met her, her nonstop wiggly butt stole our hearts—that’s how she got her name (and her nickname, Wiggy/Wiggles). She’s the happiest, sweetest girl and it’s easy to fall in love with her. Wiggles has mast cell tumors (cancer) and needs surgery ASAP to remove them. This isn’t a simple condition—without treatment, it can spread and become life-threatening. We are working with VCA Shoreline’s surgery team, but the cost is more than we can afford. We just want to give her the chance she deserves. Wiggles is the happiest girl you’ll ever meet. Her tongue is always sticking out, and her whole body wiggles with excitement whenever she sees us. She loves everyone she meets and brings so much joy into our home. Her sweet, goofy personality and constant love are what make her so incredibly special. We’ve already spent over $5,000 trying to help Wiggles, and this next surgery is more than we can handle on our own. It’s been an unexpected and overwhelming expense. This type of injury is typically caused by high-energy trauma, such as a car accident or significant fall, and resulted in a complex “T” or “Y” articular fracture of the humeral condyle. Due to the severity of the fracture, immediate veterinary attention was required. 8 years ago we found Stella, scar over her nose at 6 months old, emancipated and petrified. My dog at the time was a social butterfly and and brought her out of her shell and into our family where she holds a very special place. If I have surgeries 15 Mass cell tumors have been removed. Now we are facing osteosarcoma, it deteriorated her lower bone so badly but did not spread to lungs or sinus yet Wallenpalpack vet, VRC, and Milford vet hospital is her cance team. Mass was removed in upper jaw, CTscans performed to show clean margins unfortunately found a mystery on her lower opposite side of jaw and w the non-refundable $3500 bone biopsy, the sample came back inconclusive, the bone in that part of her jaw is so friable now we need to remove partial jaw to prevent unavoidable fracture She learned to trust and love and play now she's thriving in all the best ways, the most happiest dog who loves every second of life and is a bonded pair with the pup that saved her from the first time they booped noses. I work work 6 to 7 days. I live alone and I'm barely surviving the cost of living inflation and rent. I have spent $5,000 so far in 2 months and the bone biopsy is non-refundable. $3500 for an inconclusive answer was a setback. Now to remove her partial that's about $8,000

Buddy was dumped as a puppy in a country lane in 2017, His mother and 4 siblings were left to defend for themselves. He was about 3 months when i was asked to take him,he,His mother and sister were the only 3 to survive,his 3 siblings were shot by a man who didn't want them on his property. He is my 7th Rottweiler I have had the pleasure to have in my life, he is a gentle big bear. Buddy lost a nail which became infected and it swelled up, I took him the vet Animal family practice Bryant AR, he was put on antibiotics, his toe didn't go down so I took him back to the Vet and his foot was x-ray and it showed that his toe bone was either destroyed by cancer or the infection and the bones were completely gone. He needs his toe amputated to save any cancer spreading. Buddy is my world, he is so loving and caring, he has a blind yorkshire terrier sister also a rescue, who he takes care off and makes sure she is ok and is just so loving to her, He had a bad start in life and i so hope and pray he has a lot longer left. I work in a grocery store and i dont earn a lot, I try not to ask for help, when i had to take him to the Vet I sold some things i didn't need but i have been told to help save him it will cost $2500. I need to act quick as cancer doesn't slow down if your poor.

Kane came into our lives as a rescue he was not being cared for where he was living and our little family of friends since we are friends but we have all grown to be more of a family decided we were going to save him from his situation and we're going to welcome him into our family. He has now became such a major part of our family that we couldn't see our lives without the joy he brings daily. Kane was around a friend of ours puppy who unknowingly to us was sick and was puking up foam and then he passed away. The next day Kane started doing the same thing acting very lethargic and not himself. We are now worried about parvo but cannot afford the bill to save him. We are so saddened by his sudden illness we really need help for our puppy any help would be appreciated Kane is so special to us he is the glue that holds our little family together. Nobody could be sad around Kane it's like he knows when your mood is not happy and he will come snuggle you or play with you depending on the family member he knows what each of us need whenever we need it he is quite the character and we cannot let anything happen to our baby. Tux came into our lives 8 years ago. We were wanting to rescue a dog that could grow up with our daughter when she was a couple months old and he was only a year old. He was perfect because he was so cuddly and loving but still had plenty of energy! They have grown up together as inseparable best friends. He is now 9 years old and lives with his brother (Chewy) and his favorite little human. When Tux gets the zoomies, he gets the zoomies HARD. He tore his ACL in his left leg a few months ago. We were recommended kennel rest and see how it goes after that. A few days ago, he tore his right ACL. SRVC (Shackleford Road Vet Clinic) recommended we do surgery on both ACLs at the same time to replace the ligament. Tux is the most special boy! He sleeps in bed with my daughter every night and will take up the ENTIRE bed. He loves cuddles and kisses and knows no personal space but that's why we love him. He is a yeller and a talker too. He doesn't bark, he howls when we get home or he wants attention. He does little tappy taps when he gets excited! As a single parent, I mostly live pay check to pay check right now and we don't want to put off the surgeries for Tux. We want him to have the best quality of life that he can and right now he isn't getting that.

I found her through a Craigslist ad and adopted her — a rescue/adoptive situation that many dogs benefit greatly from. she is having trouble breathing, coughing, has a runny nose and is not eating or drinking water. She just received bloodwork and will most likely need x-rays as well. She loves food and walks. We have strong emotional bonds with her and she offers comfort, reduces stress, and helps regulate feelings of anxiety and loneliness. I unexpectedly lost my job last month in January. He has brought so much laughter, comfort, and love into our home, especially during difficult times. This morning, Cujo was involved in a traumatic accident and suffered a severe injury to his leg. He is currently under veterinary care at, South Asheville Veterinary, where the team has told us he will require emergency surgery and may even need an amputation to save his life. This was sudden and unexpected, and we are devastated. Our focus is doing everything possible to relieve his pain. Cujo is pure joy. He greets us with excitement every day, loves to cuddle, and brings comfort just by being close. He has a gentle soul and a playful spirit, and he shares a special bond with everyone in our family. He especially loves being near his sister Petunia. Cujo has been our emotional support, our shadow, and our constant companion. He isn’t just a dog,he’s family, and he is deeply loved. This emergency has come during an already difficult time for our family, with ongoing medical and personal expenses. We were not prepared for such a sudden and costly surgery. Any support will help us cover Cujo’s emergency care and give him the chance to heal.
