Teddy

Teddy is a 1 year old Miniature Schnauzer in Hartselle, AL, who needs $5,000 for Abdominal X-ray and Bowel Obstruction Removal.

Hartselle, AL

I got Teddy from a backyard dog breeder who tossed him out into the cold December weather in a pen and run down dog house. He was 4 months old and so bashful and chunky. He has been an inside child since then. He loves playing with me and dad. He loves his puppy brother. He sleeps beside me and goes everywhere I go. He has bad anxiety and fears children and outside humans. He is loved dearly. He got sick on 6/22/26 vomiting and liquid diarrhea rushed off to vet where he had blood work to check pancreas. All was negative including fecal exam. Given meds for gastritis but still has loose watery stools and exhaustion after running around for 10 min or going out to walk for potty time. Dr.zachary berry at berry animal clinic believes possible intestinal blockage requiring xray and surgery He is my 3rd child, my shadow and my entire heart. He melts me with just 1 look. He loves riding in the car and loves his mom, dad, brother, sister and his bio puppy brother charlie. He and Charlie are best friends he goes to the park and plays with his friends and hopes like a baby goat when excited, he gets so happy and licks to death when I walk through the door after only 5 min of being gone I had major hip surgery 4yrs ago and struggled to continue working a job on my feet 8 straight hours a day. My husband is our main supporter of income and he only brings home 1200 every 2 wks. Once bills paid leaves nothing more for emergency visits to vet

2 years ago someone I knew had this puppy she was the run of the litter they brought it to me they didn't know what to do the puppy was dying. I bottle fed her I worked with her I kept her safe. She became my best friend she saved my life in the end. She gives me hope I don't feel hope she gives me love where I don't feel I'm worthy of love she's changed my perspective and she gives me a purpose. While camping out at lake Whitney on June 24 2026. My baby was attacked by another dog out of nowhere. My family and I have currently lost everything and I'll be happy with each other. She got bit in her leg I'm not for sure if it's broke she cannot put any pressure on it. I tried to keep the one clean but all of a sudden two days later you can tell an infection has to quickly roughly spread. She is my best friend her favorite friend is me and I'm all she needs she is important to me because she was the runt of the litter and she saved my life. Her favorite thing to do is play with her ball she loves to fetch she can catch better than any MLB player. Little Mama's full of life or used to be before this happened. Seeing her sick kills my soul feeling helpless and not know what to do Currently my family and I have lost everything my partner has lost her job that she had after 4 years we've lost our home and we're currently homeless staying at campsites far from what we're used to. I've currently been in the hospital and found out my liver is failing.

Oliver

Oliver is a 1 year old Dachshund in Lillington, NC, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Treatment for Dog Attack.

Lillington, NC

Liver is my step-son my best friend Jill and her boyfriend Pete came home with this teeny tiny energetic sweet little boy one day and I was in complete love!! We live in an RV and it’s surrounded by a few houses in a cul-de-sac surrounded by trees other neighbors have some pets as well one is a pit bull. As the pit bull is usually tied up in his yard or watched by his owners he got loose Since that pit bul attacked Oliver we have him in the animal emergency hospital and he’s in a massive amount of pain I’m not sure yet if he will need surgery but he needs general anesthesia and that’s a bundle just the shaving and clipping alone. It is $130 and even the medicines one is $80 one is $60 and there’s like four or five of them and ultrasounds 100 and something dollars its a lot! Oliver is a very playful sweet little guy if he’s gotta go pee pee, he will crawl up on you if you’re asleep and kiss your eyelids and sleep on your head and he’s a stress reliever and even in his most playful time if you’re upset, he knows it and he’ll snuggle you and make you feel better. He’s just the joy of your entire day no matter what. I think anyone that owns a pet that your animal it’s just like your child and I don’t know if any of us can just live without him. He’s so sweet and heartbreaking and he still pretty much a baby. He deserves to be able to live and be pain-free and have a chance

Bella

Bella needs you now.

Washington, NC • Have A Heart Rescue

This sweet 5-year-old Pit Bull came into Have a Heart Rescue's care hoping for a fresh start, but her veterinary visit revealed heartbreaking news. Bella tested positive for heartworms, Lyme disease, and Ehrlichia, all of which require treatment and careful monitoring. As if that wasn't enough, their veterinarian also discovered a concerning mass that had to be surgically removed and sent for biopsy. While they're praying for good news, they're preparing ourselves for the possibility that it could be cancer. Despite everything, Bella's tail still wags, and she greets everyone with the same gentle spirit that reminds them she's not ready to give up. Her veterinary care—including vaccinations, a ProHeart injection to begin the slow-kill heartworm treatment, antibiotics, steroids, surgery to remove the mass, and biopsy testing—totaled $629. Unfortunately, this comes at a time when our rescue is already carrying more than $8,000 in outstanding veterinary debt from saving animals with nowhere else to turn. We're asking for your help so they can continue giving dogs like Bella the medical care they desperately need. Every donation, no matter the size, helps cover lifesaving treatment and allows them to keep saying "yes" to the next animal in need. Your kindness gives dogs like Bella hope for a healthier future, and for that, we're incredibly grateful. 7/8/26 Update: Update on Bella biopsy BELLA UPDATE 💗🐾 We got Bella’s biopsy results back and unfortunately the lump was mast cell cancer. But here’s the part that matters most: when the vet talked with us, he said no matter what, Bella still has a long life ahead. The cancer was completely removed, and he feels strongly that something else will take Bella from us long before this ever does. The lump is gone. The area is healing nicely and Bella is doing great. She’s still her sweet, goofy, tail-wagging self. She has a ways to go on healing, but she’s handling it like the strong girl she is. We’re so relieved to hear the prognosis is good. Bella isn’t going anywhere anytime soon 💕 Thank you to everyone who sent prayers, good vibes, and support while we waited on results. It meant the world to us + to Bella. We’ll keep you posted on her healing, but for now - she’s resting, healing, and ready for more pets and treats. #HaveAHeartRescue #BellaStrong #MastCellUpdate #GoodNews #HealingJourney #RescueDog #CancerFree #She’sGotThis #WashingtonNC #Grateful \--- Bella says thank you for loving her. She’s already planning her comeback to causing trouble 😄

Wicket

Wicket is a 4 year old Shih Tzu in Hudson, IA, who needs $500 for Exam and X-rays Due to Car Accident.

Hudson, IA

I met Wicket on September 10, 2024 when he was just nine weeks old. He was a gift from the man I was dating at the time. He later told me that I was sad all the time, so he got me a puppy and since then, I’m not sad anymore. I am forever grateful for the best gift I’ve ever received! Wicket is named after the Ewok from Star Wars, because he has the same furry, adorable face. Wicket has lived in pain his entire life from undiagnosed entropion. We finally have answers but now need $1,500–$3,500 for surgery and care. Then last week, he was also tragically hit by a car while at Gma’s house. I paid near $500 for emergency care, but his wounds weren't even stitched. He still urgently needs X-rays and a full exam to check for internal injuries. My heart is breaking for him! Wicket and I are inseparable. He’s flown cross-country, logged countless hours as my road-dog, and goes wherever I go—even where dogs aren’t allowed. He’s grown up with my grandkids, and they act as if they’re siblings. He knows my adult kids as “sissy and bubba.” Wicket and I have our own sort of “language,” which anyone who knows us can clearly understand because he’s so incredibly expressive! The last two years have had a devastating financial impact on myself, as well as on my family. I’ve been working exhaustively to recover, and to help them as well. I hate asking for help, and try to never do so… but I have no choice. Wicket trumps my pride, by far!
