His name is Darth Vader. He’s a one year-old rescue cat I acquire him about a little bit over a month ago, he is a very friendly, lovable, cat loves cuddles and kisses. Love to get his chin, scratched and likes to be near you all the time he is a Velcro cast or wherever you go he has to follow you and everything. About almost 2 weeks now one day when me and my wife came back from doing shopping and everything we noticed that he was limping we thought maybe he just kind of sprained his foot so we try to make him comfortable. Try to reduce the swelling the swollen now has gotten worse to two or three times as normal size. We don’t know exactly what’s going on. Raiders part of the family he is my emotional support animal and he’s been helping me out going through some dark times. I just don’t want to see anything bad happened to him. I’m on a very tight budget. I’m on Social Security. Most of my money goes to bills and my cat food. I’ve been slowly trying to save up so I can have money for vet bills, but this is a emergency.

Allisa is 4.5, rescued by Fancy Cats and Dogs in Virginia and TNR’d initially and then brought to Mt Purrnon Cat Cafe in Alexandria. She is super playful, loves fetch with her springs, and cuddling with humans and her cat siblings. She is fancy, sassy, and so so strong. Medically she has a lot going on since day 1 but its gotten severe now. Allisa has stomatitis, hyperthyroidism and a TON of food and environmental allergies. Right now she can have chicken turkey rabbit and tuna. Many foods and fillers in canned food she can not have. She has had multiple dental surgeries and on pills for thyroid issues. Currently she had 6 teeth out and with a blocked saliva gland so she cant eat and the flap failed and her bone is exposed. She is a beautiful extremely sweet cat. She loves to love and loves getting attention. Medically she is going through so much and needs extensive support. She is in the vet hospital for 3-4 days now to gain strength and see if the blocked gland resolves on its own or if it needs surgery. She will need further surgery to repair the flap over the other side of her mouth on her jaw. Please help. <3 I have used Care credit and it is almost maxed out now. I have worked multiple jobs but just lost one having to take her in as an emergency this weekend and notified them. I was there 4.5’years. I work FT, the issues are too expensive. I appreciate anything and hate to ask.

Dude Has Suffered For Too Long

Dude should be spending his senior years surrounded by comfort and care. Instead, this old Labrador was found living with a severe, untreated wound and desperately in need of help. After a Good Samaritan reported concerns about Dude’s living conditions, the Stray Animal Foundation of India stepped in. Their team spoke with his owner and discovered that Dude had been living with a badly swollen wound on his head that was infested with maggots. Dude was removed from the situation and brought to the shelter clinic, where his team immediately began treating him. Hundreds of maggots were removed from the wound, and veterinarians are now cleaning and dressing it every day while providing medication to help him recover. But Dude’s condition goes far beyond the wound on his head. His diagnostic results showed that his overall health is extremely poor. In fact, his veterinarians are surprised that, despite everything happening inside his body, this senior boy is still able to walk. Dude has clearly been struggling for far too long, but he no longer has to face it alone. He is finally safe and receiving the consistent medical attention he desperately needed. His recovery will take continued veterinary care, medications, daily wound treatment, and close monitoring. Rolex came into the care of the Stray Animal Foundation of India for what should have been a routine neuter surgery. Instead, his veterinary team discovered something far more concerning. This sweet street dog had a tumor-like growth on his paw. After further evaluation, it was confirmed to be a tumor and Rolex was diagnosed with TVT, a type of transmissible cancer that requires chemotherapy to treat. Thankfully, Rolex is now exactly where he needs to be. His diagnostic testing has been completed, his vaccinations are up to date, and his team is preparing him for the next stage of his care. Rolex will need approximately 4–6 chemotherapy treatments to fight the cancer, with his progress closely monitored along the way. For a street dog like Rolex, receiving consistent veterinary treatment simply wouldn’t be possible without rescue. What began as a routine procedure has now become a much longer and more costly road to recovery, but the Stray Animal Foundation of India is committed to giving him every chance to heal. Donations will help cover Rolex’s chemotherapy and continued veterinary care as he fights this disease. Pintu has spent his life surviving on the streets of India. Now, he’s facing a painful medical battle that he can’t overcome without help. When the Stray Animal Foundation of India rescued Pintu, he had a severe open wound on his head that was infested with maggots, along with a large tumor that urgently needs to be removed. His care began immediately and without hesitation. The maggots were carefully removed, and Pintu is now receiving daily wound cleaning and dressing to help his head heal and prevent further infection. Additional diagnostic testing revealed another serious concern: Pintu is severely anemic. Right now, his body simply isn’t strong enough for the surgery he needs. His veterinary team is working to improve his blood levels and stabilize his condition. Once his bloodwork reaches a safer range, Pintu can undergo surgery to remove the large tumor and take another important step toward recovery. For a street dog who has already endured so much time without medical care, rescue is only the beginning. Pintu will need continued wound care, treatment for his anemia, repeat testing, surgery, and support in the weeks ahead. Chance, Summer, and Ellie are three deserving dogs currently waiting in China for the chance to leave their difficult pasts behind and start new lives in the United States. They each have their own story. They each have their own challenges. But they all have one thing in common: they deserve to know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and finally home. 💙 CHANCE is a young pup who has an old dislocated elbow that healed in place, leaving him with a noticeable limp. Even more heartbreaking, when he was found, he had been tightly bound with wire around his snout and body — so tightly that he couldn't even bark. The scars remain as a reminder of what he survived. Yet somehow, Chance hasn't let his past change his heart. He is an incredibly sweet boy who shows no signs of trauma or fear from what happened to him. Once Chance arrives in the U.S., My Why Rescue hopes to have him evaluated by an orthopedic specialist to determine whether anything can be done to improve his mobility. Depending on what the specialist finds, treatment — or potentially even a prosthetic — could be recommended. 💛 SUMMER is a beautiful Golden girl who is simply waiting for her freedom flight. ✈️ She has no known medical concerns at this time, but because she has not yet arrived in the United States, a complete veterinary evaluation will be needed once she is safely here. All Summer needs right now is the opportunity to leave China behind and begin the next chapter of her life. 💜 ELLIE has also endured an unknown hardship. One of her paws was amputated, leaving behind a stump. When she was found, bones were protruding from the injured area, and veterinarians still aren't sure exactly what happened to her. Ellie has also been overlooked because she can be protective of her food. But food guarding is something that can be understood and managed — and after everything she's been through, can't we give her the time and patience to learn that she will never have to worry about losing her food again? Right now, what stands between these three dogs and their new lives is $6,000 in transport and associated costs to bring them safely from China to the United States. We don't yet know exactly what Chance's orthopedic evaluation will reveal or whether Ellie will need additional treatment. Winnie was shot in the head. And somehow, after everything she has endured, she still wants to be close to people.

Winnie showed up as a stray at someone’s home, painfully thin and unable to close her mouth. She couldn’t eat, and the people who found her feared she had been hit by a car. They made a liquid gruel, hoping they could get even a little nutrition into her, and reached out on Facebook for help. That’s when One By One Animal Rescue stepped in and rushed Winnie to Proctorville Animal Clinic. What the veterinary team discovered was heartbreaking. One side of Winnie’s face was infested with maggots. They were coming from inside her mouth, through her cheek, and had even spread between her toes. Her body was severely emaciated because she had been unable to properly eat. Then the X-rays revealed the unimaginable reason she couldn’t close her mouth. Winnie had been shot in the side of her head. The entry wound is still visible. The bullet remains lodged in her head, and the damage is devastating. Both sides of her jaw are broken, and some of her teeth and the tissues in her mouth have been badly damaged. We don’t know who shot Winnie. We don’t know why. We don’t know when it happened or how long this little dog survived on her own, unable to close her mouth or eat. We only know that somehow, she survived. The veterinary team carefully cleaned Winnie’s mouth and wounds while she was fully sedated, flushing the affected areas to remove the remaining maggots and treat the infection. And somehow, despite the horrific injuries she had endured, they discovered something miraculous: Winnie’s tongue was still intact. Just imagine how much pain she must have been in. Even biting your tongue can hurt terribly. Winnie had been living with both sides of her jaw broken, a gunshot wound to her head, severe wounds and starvation. And yet, when the veterinary staff cared for her, Winnie kept trying to move closer. She remains hospitalized and has a very long road ahead. Because her jaw is so badly damaged, her veterinary team has stabilized it with a tape muzzle to protect it until surgery. Since Winnie cannot safely eat on her own, a feeding tube has been placed so her severely emaciated body can finally receive the carefully controlled nutrition it desperately needs. And because Winnie finds so much comfort in having someone close, she was given a little stuffed puppy with a heartbeat inside. When a person can’t sit beside her, Winnie can feel that little heartbeat against her body. Yesterday, she was a stray suffering alone. Now, she is warm, receiving pain medication and nutrition, surrounded by people fighting for her—and falling asleep beside a heartbeat so she doesn’t have to feel alone. ❤️ If Winnie is strong enough, she is scheduled for a complex surgery Tuesday to repair her shattered jaw. Her surgeons may need to place a plate on one side and use wiring on the other. Her recovery will require continued hospitalization, nutritional support, pain management, monitoring and ongoing veterinary care. Winnie’s medical journey is going to be long. And it is going to be expensive. But Winnie hasn't given up. So neither will we. We want this little girl to know what it feels like to have a full belly. We want her to fall asleep in a soft bed without pain. We want her to discover treats and toys. We want her to experience gentle hands instead of cruelty. And most of all, we want to see that tiny tail wag become a whole-body wiggle. We cannot change the moments Winnie has already endured. But together, we can change the moments ahead of her. Winnie survived the unthinkable. Now she deserves the chance to discover what a life filled with kindness can look like. Please help One By One Animal Rescue give Winnie that chance. Zoey is our sweet loving dog and such an important part of our family. She loves being around us, getting attention, and spending time with her family. Zoey has been especially important to us as we welcomed our children, and she has always been there through all of life’s changes. She means the world to us, and we want to do everything we can to help her get back to being her happy, playful self. Zoey tore her doggie ACL (most likely from the zoomies) and will need TPLO surgery to get everything fixed in her knee. We will be taking her to Blue Pearl Zoey is everything to my family. Even though she can be a nudge at times we all love her. As our first child she holds a special place in our hearts and seeing her in pain kills us every day. With us having 2 children (1 newborn and a 2 year old) and also recently buying a house. We just don’t have the money to pay for this surgery up front.

He passed them naturally, showing an incredible will to live. He is my little miracle survivor who deeply deserves to breathe completely freely and live a very long, happy life with his bonded sister. Vaska pants heavily with an open mouth during play. I am terrified this hides a much more serious, life-threatening condition, and I am so scared of losing him. The vet suspects a blockage or tumor in his nasopharynx.
