Maverick is a 19-month-old Frenchton. He joined our family as a puppy in July 2024 has lived with us ever since. From the beginning, he has been a healthy and active dog with no major medical issues until his recent injury. Maverick lives in a household with two adults and three children. His name comes from the movie Top Gun At central carroll er on 11/28, xrays were taken, and the attending veterinarian diagnosed Maverick with a left lateral humeral condyle fracture This requires emergency surgery and due to the holiday weekend and surgeon schedules we have to wait until 12/4. Skylos sports medicine in frederick md is performing the surgery. Around the kids, Maverick transforms into the world’s best playmate and protector. He adores his three human kid-siblings and follows them from room to room, always eager to be included in whatever adventure they’ve decided on that day. Whether it’s chasing a ball, romping around the yard, or simply cuddling during a movie night, Maverick is happiest when he’s right in the center of their laughter I'm retired military and on fixed income, also working another full time job to provide for my family. My car recently broke down and needs extensive work and unable to afford a new car. My kids are selling their toys and asking only to save mavericks leg for Christmas.

Years ago, my girlfriend wore me down enough to go “just look” at a puppy she saw online during a trip back to our hometown of Dallas. The moment the door opened and and I saw Dak, I knew we weren’t leaving without him. What I didn’t know was how drastically this little four- legged creature would change..countine So back in August of this year, I noticed a significant difference in the amount of times that Dak would potty every day and the amount of quantity per session. Both we're around six times more than usual. I didn't think much of it thinking it was his age and maybe a changing of a system since he's hitting middle age. So around September I noticed he had an ear irritation....countine A master at the art of tug of war. A laser light enthusiast. Extreme enthusiast. Excellent PT and a great calorie burner. Trick is making your dog feel like they accomplished something by catching the actual night. A feeling of achievement. And encouragement. Dak loved it. He is also very vocal. He has around 25 different barks squeals house and haulers. All of them mean something significant..cou I was laid off during the pandemic..cell tower repairman. Yoda came into our lives as a special gift during the pandemic and has been spreading love ever since. Born with epilepsy, he’s always been a little fighter. He loves stroller rides, walks, and picking up his sister Alyana from school. Sweet, calm, and friendly, our “precious Papas” is now fighting lymphoma, and we’re fighting for him. Yoda is beginning a 25-week chemotherapy plan at the animal cancer clinic, and he’s handling it with so much bravery. Each visit brings new hope as he fights lymphoma with his gentle spirit and wagging tail. We’re committed to giving him every chance, one treatment at a time, and supporting him through this journey. Yoda is special because his playful spirit shines in everything he does. He loves his toys, playing hide-and-seek, and cuddling for movie nights. He’s always at my feet in the kitchen, following me with love. His gentle joy fills our home, and his little moments of sweetness make every day brighter. Today’s treatment is critical for Yoda’s fight against lymphoma. As I go through pregnancy, this journey is even harder, and any support truly helps. Blue came to us in a snow storm. We picked him up and he's been a wonderful companion for our other Chihuahua Sister. They love each other so much and are bonded. He's a little grumpy like any typical Chihuahua but a lover at heart. Blue started throwing up and acting funny while I was in the hospital and over the past month had been drinking quite a bit more I had noticed and eating less. When I got out of the hospital we thought he was just stressed and would eat again normally but was unable to keep anything down soo off to the vet we went. Turns out his sugar was sky high at 320 and his kidney and pancreas are not happy. He loves his Chihuahua mate sister and he is bonded to me as well. He is not too keen on other visitors and is a one person dog although he has started to bond with his cousin Keaghan and will cuddle with her when I'm not around. This time of year I only have snow plowing as an income and our truck broke down this week as well so this hit at a bad time. It will be such a relief to have blue back healthy and happy able to eat and function.

May is our first French Bulldog and was born with a cleft palate. Her breeder tube-fed her and gave her a strong start. She’s now 4 months old and thriving, but she still aspirates due to a cleft in both her hard and soft palate. She’s scheduled for surgery at Cornell in January. We work full time and provide a safe home, and this surgery will be life-changing for her. May, our 4-month-old French Bulldog, was born with a cleft palate affecting both her hard and soft palate. She was tube-fed by her breeder and has been thriving, though she still experiences frequent aspirations. She is scheduled for corrective surgery at Cornell University Hospital for Animals, Dentistry and Oral Surgery, in January. May is a very sweet and affectionate girl who loves all animals. At 4 months old, she has already exceeded our expectations—she knows over eight tricks and quickly learns new things. She is gentle, loving, and serves as an emotional support for our 9-year-old son, who has ADHD, providing comfort, companionship, and joy to our family. May’s surgery at Cornell will cost over $5,000. We weren’t prepared for the expense of a top-tier hospital, and despite working two full-time jobs and caring for two children, we cannot cover it. Having her healthy again would be life-changing for our family and her.

I'm writing this because my dog, Dak, needs help — and right now you guys are the only way Dak has a chance. Dak is not “just a dog” to me. He is my last living family member. I’ve had him since he was four weeks old. He is 71/2 years old now. I didn’t plan on getting dog.. but as the great ones do he found me. He is my soulmate, my best friend, my son, my better half by far. He has a tumor that is a highly aggressive form of cancer. Is located in his rare abdominal bias anal cavity. So it would be a soft tissue surgery. The doctors the VCA in Redding opened him up just to see the size of it (the tumor) and closed him back up again.i had raised $ 1,500 and they agreed to do it till they saw that it was going to be more expensive than they originally "quoted", and deci Dak has become a piece of my soul. My teacher. My hero. Dogs are the closest example we have on this earth of unconditional love — the kind of love God created for us. The kind that only he is able to give us. But dogs come close. Ms Lucy, is my son's Make-A-Wish English Bulldog. She desperately needs this surgery, BOAS soft pallet surgery, they will spay her at the same time. This surgery was a shock to us, and the cost. This surgery should help her life a long life. She is our 3rd bulldog, but our 2nd died unfortunately at the hands of an emergency vet. So we are very careful where we take her. We will be getting the surgery done at Veterinary Specialist of Greater Atlanta. My son was so devastated ate losing my second bulldog last year, that he wished for a bulldog with his Make-A-Wish. He has many medical conditions and is in the hospital a lot, but when we mention Lucy, he gets a smile on his face. We are ate a fixed income in the fact that i can not work since I have to take care of my son. He is trach, vent, feeding tube dependent, seizures, wheelchair, and a whole lot of other medical conditions. It would mean everything to have Lucy well and recovered!

Tego came to us at 6 weeks old to support my husband, a US Veteran. We got him from a certified breeder and have been inseparable since. Beyond helping my husband, he’s a loving companion, protector of our almost-2-year-old son, and a cherished part of our family. Our sweet 2-year-old Rottweiler, Tego, suddenly fell ill before Thanksgiving. He was rushed to the ER and has now been diagnosed with IMHA, a life-threatening disease where his body destroys its own red blood cells. He’s hospitalized, not eating, and is undergoing blood transfusions.
