Tiny Jewel was rushed to the emergency hospital in critical condition after a Good Samaritan saw her being hit by a car. She was admitted in excruciating pain with a shattered pelvis, pulmonary contusions, abdominal fluid, bloody urine, and difficulty breathing. Ramapo-Bergen Animal Rescue was then contacted and they could not turn away from this cutie. Jewel required oxygen, pain medication, hospitalization, and close monitoring while the veterinary team worked to stabilize her. Jewel is slowly beginning to stabilize. Her breathing has improved, she is able to urinate on her own, and incredibly, she has even begun to walk again. But Jewel is far from fully recovered. Her pelvis has multiple fractures on both sides. She will need six weeks of strict crate rest, medical monitoring, follow-up imaging, pain management, and potentially additional procedures. Jewel urgently needs a quiet, loving medical foster home where she can feel safe and recover. Despite everything she has endured, she has been incredibly sweet with the hospital staff. Jewel desperately needs your help. With emergency hospital expenses, ongoing care, and an experienced foster who can keep her safe through recovery. She survived being hit by a car. Boston being a old boxer doesn’t mean anything, he has the energy of a puppy. Boston is more than just a pet to me, he’s family. He’s a sweet, loving and playful dog who loves being around me and always wants to be close. He has such a big personality and brings so much comfort and happiness into our home. He loves attention, playing and being around the people he trusts. I lost my car and now I work just to pay for Ubers to work. My name is Lene, and I am writing to ask, from the bottom of my heart, if anyone is willing to helping me save my beloved cat, Theo.Theo has been my best friend and constant companion for over 5 years. I raised him from the time he was a tiny kitten, and throughout every chapter of my life, he has been by my side. He has been my comfort during my hardest days and one constant that never failed me Unfortunately, Theo has struggled with recurring urinary tract issues, including UTIs and urinary blockages. Earlier this year, he underwent an emergency procedure to unblock his urinary tract, which totaled $1,503. While I did everything I could to prevent something this awful from happening again, he has now suffered another blockage and urgently requires a second lifesaving procedure. As difficult as my circumstances have been, Theo has always been the reason I keep going. He has been there through every disappointment, every accomplishment, every tear, and every smile. He greets me at the door after work, curls up beside me when I'm overwhelmed, and reminds me every day what unconditional love looks like. The thought of losing him because I cannot afford the treatment he needs I am only 23 years old and am in school. LaChienne was prescribed as a Service Animal to assist with my balance. I got her at 4 months old. We immediately took a Canine Manners course, where she was the prize pupple (play on words intended). She is everyone she meets Emotional Support Animal! Because of her popularity and obvious brilliance, she was offered a scholarship to a Beyond Basics course. We are waiting until her surgery. I, as LaChienne's human, decided to wait on her neutering until she had several cycles, so her body could benefit from the estrogen & progesterone. Two heats reduces the chance of Hip Dysplasia by 50%, which is substantial! Now is the time for her surgery, before the odds of uterine, ovarian, mammary cancers, etc. increases. We are creating this account for help with a LAPRASCOPIC procedure. LaChienne is the Belle of the Ball, who is loved by everyone. Her petite boudoir is in our small apartment in an H.U.D. housing development for elderly & handicapped. Being a cross between 2 sporting breeds, father Golden Retriever/ mother American Standard Poodle, her almost 2 miles daily is very important to our happiness. We do not want an extended cone of shame and time off of her training The total hysterectomy is both painful and time consuming, when the same goal can be achieved with a laparoscopic procedure. Maya has always been a very healthy girl. Francisco is originally from Mexico & used to train dogs as a federal police officer before coming to the US decades ago. So, not only is she a healthy girl, she's a super well behaved girl. They go everywhere togther and were about to retire in Mexico in his hometown when the hit & run occurred.. Francisco works in construction. Basically, he's general contractor. He does amazing work. He had just enough $$ to leave to retire when this happened. The vet gave him 3 options. Just days ago, Bradford Jack was returned to the care of NYC Second Chance Rescue under heartbreaking circumstances. His adopter was facing a crisis at home and made the difficult decision to surrender Bradford Jack so he could be safe. What happened next made that decision even more significant. Before Bradford Jack returned to rescue, he got into the trash and began vomiting repeatedly. His condition quickly became concerning, and his rescue team rushed him to the veterinary hospital. X-rays revealed a linear foreign body lodged in Bradford Jack’s gastrointestinal tract. This is a life-threatening emergency. If left in place, a linear foreign body can cause severe intestinal damage, including tissue injury, perforation, infection, and potentially fatal complications. Bradford Bradford Jack is already severely dehydrated, and right now, he isn't stable enough to safely undergo anesthesia. His veterinary team is working urgently to change that. Bradford Jack is receiving IV fluids and medications to stabilize and rehydrate him. As soon as he is strong enough to safely undergo anesthesia, the veterinary team will perform surgery to remove the foreign material and assess the damage it may have caused. There is no time to waste. And while Bradford Jack is fighting for his life, we want to make one thing very clear: we do not blame his adopter. Domestic violence can force people into unimaginable situations and impossible choices. Bradford Jack's adopter made the heartbreaking decision to get him somewhere safe while navigating her own crisis. Sweet mittens came to us as a feral cat. She was lost, and we found her meowing in our garage. It took us a while to find her, but she did not have a mother around. We took her into our home bottle, fed her bath from all the fleas took her to the vet and made her our best friend. Sweet mittens was a feral cat that showed up at our house this past fall. My parents bottle fed her and made her an inside cat she is fully vaccinated and also fixed. we thought that she had swallowed something because she was coughing. She stopped coughing and ate some food after a while. The next day she lost her sparkle in her eye, but still was eating by Friday. She was seen at met vet Mittens is an inside cat and she is fully vaccinated. Her best friend is another feral cat named lucky who we also had to bottle feed. They are the best of friends and they play together and they make each other a better cat. We just had a $14,000 vet bill from our beloved Dog that had passed and we are still working to pay that off. My parents were both retired. They are very good people and would help anybody.
