Meeka has been in my life since a few days after she was born. First puppy I held, she had these greenish eyes. Every time I would visit she was the pup that always came running to me. She’s been my soul dog since day one. She chose me. She has been my constant through every storm, my safe place, and most definitely my best friend. My sweet Meeka’s been panting constantly, losing strength, and showing pale gums. Her tests showed high cortisol and signs of pancreatitis—vet suspects Cushing’s, a tumor, or heart issues. She also ate a bone recently, which may have caused more problems. She needs X-rays and more tests, but I can’t afford it right now. 💔 Shes so kind, loves everyone loves her two girls she is there protector. Loves baby’s especially. And kittens/cats and any small dogs. She is very motherly. She has her two dog sons who she is a great mother too. She loves to bark. Loves to play with her toys. Loves swimming and her walks. And her car rides. The gentle soul, and big floofball. She’s like a dog version of Winnie the Pooh. Currently on income support living at my parents with my two daughters and dogs until I find a stable job and my own place to live. My father is currently in the hospital as well, life is extremely heavy lately and it’s been a struggle.

My sweet Charlie was the first dog that was actually mine. He was a gift from a family member at 5 weeks of age, in 2012. He was the most beautiful little thing, and he WAS tiny, that I had ever seen! When our eyes met I knew it was a soul connection. Charlie is 13 and has been mainly healthy his entire life. Lately he has started to make an odd coughing / hacking sound. First thought was he had something in his throat, but it is getting a little more constant. It is Congestive Heart Failure. I can’t afford the testing to be 100% accurate because due to the cancer I have very limited income. But I can’t let my baby suffer.He needs me now. Charlie has been a constant soul mate in my life for 13 years. He saw me through severe depression, several surgeries and a rough battle with breast cancer when I was 37. He never left my side, he comforted me as only he could. Stayed at my side after chemo, he understood I was sick and he was there for me, now I need to be here for him. I love him with every ounce of my soul. I can’t lose him. I haven't been able to work for over 2 years. I suffer recurring deep depression. Since I fought breast cancer. Charlie is my EVERYTHING, He is literally my child. I don’t know what I would do without him. But CHF is a killer in dogs. I just need help for my baby. Please.

I adopted PJ 10 years ago from an old friend. He was the smallest of his litter and always kept to himself, quietly watching his brothers and sisters play from the side — that’s what first caught my heart. The moment I held him, I knew he was meant to be mine. My little baby boy, with one ear up and one ear down, has been my best friend ever since. 🐾❤️ PJ is my 10-year-old rescue and my little shadow. Recently, he started having trouble opening his eyes and has been bumping into things. I’m worried he may have an infection or vision issue. He’s eating and drinking normally, but he’s clearly in discomfort. I’m raising funds to get him seen at Bronx Veterinary Center so he can get the care and comfort he needs. PJ is the most playful little soul. He loves hiding under soft blankets and making a game out of everything — even his food! He’ll toss it with his paws, run around, then come back for more. He’s gentle, silly, and brings so much joy and laughter to my home. Blaze is a 8 year old French Bulldog in Kearny, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Radiation.

Blaze came into my life because my husband didn't want me to be home alone while he was working. We picked Blaze from a breeder in NJ. Me and my husband had 3 names choosen. The breeder said to choose Blaze. Come to find out later that Blaze's Sire was also named Blaze. So we have a Blaze Jr. Blaze is my emotional support baby boy. He is my world. Blaze started showing neck stiffness and was barely moving. So we took him to an emergency Vet hospital where it showed he had a herniated disk between his neck and back. When me and my husband took Blaze to Red Bank Animal Hospital in Red Bank NJ. They also found a mass/tumor near his heart. They did a CT to show that it is cancer. The cancer is treatable with 3 treatments of radiation. Blaze has a handful of favorite people besides his mommy and daddy. We have a friend that we call Auntie Biscuit. She is always giving him treats. She once had a dog named Sammie girl that was Blaze's Girlfriend until she passed away. He still looks for her. My brother is his other favorite. You mention his name Blaze gets so excited. Blaze has many favorite toys. Blaze loves everything. My husband is retired from law enforcement. He only gets 1 check a month and I barely work 20 hrs a week. Blaze is my child. He is my world. We do not have children. I want my boy healthy again. He doesn't deserve this. He is my whole world. Without him, I'm lost.

Sadie came into the family when she was an 1 1/2 years old she stayed with my parents until they both passed 3 weeks apart and I inherited Sadie and she’s been with me for four years. We do everything together we grieve together we shop together and we even go to work together. She’s my whole life. Sadie woke up with a bulging red eye. I rushed her to the emergency pet hospital and they prescribed her medicine for glaucoma, which was the wrong medicine and has caused a perforated ulcer in her left eye. It is so bad that they need to remove her left eye. Animal eye care associates in Wilmington will be performing the eye removal surgery. They are located at 1334 military cut off road. Sadie is sweet & a loving dog. losing my parents so close together put such an avoid in our lives. We grieve together we shop together and we even go to work together. She Means the world to me. I can’t see her in so much pain and with removing her eyes, they say her pain will be gone and she can live a normal life and we can go back to the beach for our walks. Asking for help is hard for me to do but watching my Sadie in so much pain is even harder. I live paycheck to paycheck and I already invested $1000 to just see what was wrong with Sadie. $2000 for the surgery is out of my reach. If you can help in anyway we’d be so grateful.

Jade came into my life on January 1, 2014. I was driving and saw all these puppies running all over in someones yard. I stopped. This little white puppy came right up to me and sat on my foot, I picked her up and it was love at first sight...even though she peed on me. We are currently living on a lake and she loves going out on the boat. She's even learned how to spell b-o-a-t. Jade has always been healthy, as I have always taken the best care of her. a couple of years ago she started showing signs of arthritis in her hips. The vet put her on Carprofen which helped significantly. 2 weeks ago, I was playing a light game of tug-o-war with her. I let her win and she very gently fell on her butt. After that her hind legs have become very week. I have to help her up and help Jade is my BFF. We do everything together. Everything I have taught her, she's learned quickly. I'm disabled and have taught her how to pick things up for me. I can't imagine my life without her. She is my life, & I am hers. Even tho her legs are weakening, her spirit & mind are still young. People have often said that they have never seen a bond like ours. I am very proud to show her her off! I was illegally evicted from a house I was renting. I have filed a lawsuit against my former landlord. They have done nothing but retaliate against me. I have lost everything because of what these people have done to me. I've lost everything I owned, my job and my car.

Radar was found under a bridge right before my mom's driveway. He was bloody and abandoned and his tail had been cut off. He was so scared it took my son and mom several hours just to get him to come out. He has been loved every since that day. My dad who passed this summer tragically to an overdose fl in love with him and gave him his name "Radar" which reflects how good of a guard he is. 2 weeks ago today Radar was hit by someone and It's left him immobile, In excruciating pain, and under around the clock care for even the simplest of tasks. It broke 2 of his legs in several places and he needs surgery immediately. We are losing valuable time. He may lose 1, if not BOTH of his legs. Euthanasia is recommended if financial restraints continue to prevent surgery. Radar was my dad's dog. Tragically this summer we lost him to an overdose. To lost Radar too would be heartbreaking. He's a vibrant, energetic, sweet dog with the kindest eyes. He loves everyone he meets, especially those who like giving a good head rub or bring snacks. He recently learned to slip his collar and had a new shock collar on at the time of his accident. Radar has dads goofball demenor Currently I care for my mother. Lupus & her health has severely declined since dads passing. Financial restraints are keeping us from being able to get Radar the surgery he needs to live. I’ve had London since he was 5 months old my friend brought him to me from Georgia. He’s a purebred with a British mom and a California dad. London is playful, friendly, and full of energy. He’s never been on a date but has met a few female dogs he liked. He currently lives with me and enjoys plenty of love and attention every day. London was perfectly fine earlier playing, eating, and walking normally. Later that night, his back legs became weak, he was panting nonstop, and felt very hot. I rushed him to the ER, where he was diagnosed with spondylosis. The ER visit cost $3,500, and he now needs to see a neurologist for an MRI and possible surgery estimated at $14,500. London is such a special boy he loves playing fetch and chasing us around the house. He’s very social and runs to greet everyone. When we come home, he jumps and dances on his hind legs with excitement. He loves snuggling in the boys’ beds and protects them like he’s big and tough, even though he’s just our sweet, playful companion. London had insurance and a wellness plan until I went back to school full-time. With my program’s restrictions, I haven’t been able to work, making his medical costs overwhelming. Having him healthy again would mean everything he’s family and deserves a pain-free life.

Spooky

Spooky is a 12 year old Mix-Breed in Albany, OR, who needs $2,000 for Amputation Surgery.

I found Spooky, abandoned, running down the highway in 2015. He was the little puppy you see in the photo with the wicker chair. It took four of us to catch him as he was scared at first, but he looked up at me and licked me in the face when he realized we were there to help him. He has been a faithful companion and friend ever since. He now lives with me in and two additional canines in Oregon. About six weeks ago, Spooky favored his right rear leg and subsequently developed a growth on the bone on his left rear leg. After a biopsy and radiology examination, a surgeon gave the probable diagnosis of bone cancer. She also said because he has a clear chest x-ray he has a shot at life if we amputate the rear leg at the hip and leave open the possibility of chemotherapy. All of my canines are rescue animals, and they have been blessed with good lives. Spooky is the leader of my pack, or at least in the running. He loves other animals and brought joy to my father's last days before passing. The expense to give Spooky this surgery and the chemo is over ten thousand dollars. I have insurance to pay for a significant portion after costs are paid, but this represents a significant challenge to my current budget. This surgery will mean that Spooky is pain free.
