We adopted our puppy from PACA this past February. We have been together since then. He is our only pet. We gave him the name Cú which means hound in Irish and added Bear since he looks so much like a bear. He is a wonderful loving puppy. This is an emergency. Last Saturday he ate plastic and floss and got sick. We rushed him to the vet emergency, and they operated on him. He remained in the hospital for several more days. We have now brought him home but it depleted our finances. Our pet is so loving and friendly. He enjoys playing catch and especially enjoys his treats. We also enjoy training him which he seems to love too. He especially loves long walks with my husband. He also close with all of our friends and family. I lost my job last August due to federal budget cuts and my husband is on social security, so this is a catastrophic family expense we need help with.

She's not aggressive dog she is sweetheart and so kind and loving great with kids we have a big house and a big backyard for her and her brother. She's been healthy. She's just great she had a litter of seven puppies. She's not aggressive she loves everyone everyone loves her she loves to be carried around rubbed tailed talked to she's a blessing such a sweetheart she's my baby. My dog got hit by a car unexpectedly I am not that naturally stable for the vet and hospital bills or medication and she has a litter of seven puppies that need to be fed she can't afford to stay at the hospital or not be treated. I don't know what I would do if I lose her.

We've had Olive for a few years now after finding her as a stray. She fit right in with our family and gets along perfectly with our cats and everyone she meets. We named her after the main character from the show we were bingeing at the time - Olivia Moore - and the name just stuck. Her nicknames are Olive, Olivia, Shmolive. She's the sweetest girl and loves to shake hands nonstop if you let her! Olive was first taken to Fresno Hope Animal Foundation for a routine spay, where the vets discovered she had pyometra, a serious uterine infection. They referred us to Abbey Pet Hospital for treatment. She has been on 2 antibiotics to treat the infection, but today at her recheck they confirmed she needs surgery as her uterus is still enlarged. Olive is a sweetheart who lights up our home. She's the definition of a nanny dog gentle, patient, and protective, always keeping an eye on our cats, nieces, and nephews and loves being part of all the family's daily activities. She's playful and smart her favorite thing to do is shaking hands. Olive also loves treats and sunbathing and rolling in the yard. I was recently laid off from my government job and have already had to pull from my 401(k) just to cover regular bills. This surgery is pushing us to the edge of bankruptcy. Her care has already cost over $2,000, and I had to max out my last credit card just for the deposit.

Louie is a 1.5-year-old Labradoodle who has been a cherished companion since he was a puppy. He has had a significant impact on my emotional well-being, particularly helping provide comfort and support following the loss of a family member. Louie is currently living in a home environment with access to both indoor comforts and outdoor spaces for exercise and play. Louie was recently diagnosed with Addison’s disease, a condition in which the adrenal glands do not produce enough hormones. This diagnosis followed observation of symptoms including decreased appetite, fatigue, vomiting, and changes in urination patterns. To manage the condition, Louie has to be on a daily pill an a monthly shot. Care is through woodland animal hospital. Louie is a 1.5-year-old Labradoodle who has been a beloved member of our family since he was a puppy. He has a gentle, affectionate temperament and forms strong bonds with each family member. Louie is highly intuitive and sensitive to emotions, offering comfort and companionship, especially following the loss of a family member. His presence has had a profound positive impact me mentally! Louie’s recent Addison’s diagnosis has created unexpected medical expenses we can’t fully cover. Ensuring his treatment means the world, seeing him healthy and happy again would bring relief, joy, and peace of mind to our family.

Bunker was re-homed through the local pet shelter at 9 months. She had not received much training but at a young age her charming personality was apparent. Bunker suddenly started demonstrating pain in her back leg and could not put any weight on the leg. She was examined and diagnosed with a ruptured cranial cruciate ligament. Bunker has had many friends and neighbors who have watched her, she recognizes their vehicles and will stop playing fetch to run over and greet them. Bunker is rarely without a frisbee - even when she needs to go outside late at night! The costs for vet appointments, surgery, rehabilitation along with travel to a emergency are substantial and unfortunately not covered by pet insurance.

Gengibre is my nearly 15-year-old Golden Retriever, and he's been my loyal companion since he was a two-month-old puppy. We live in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and for his entire life, he has been my best friend and my family. We’ve shared everything, from road trips to peaceful nights. Gengibre is a fighter who already beat lymphoma. Recently, a new, aggressive cancer was found: oral melanoma. A tumor was removed from his mouth, but it has unfortunately spread to a lymph node (metastatic melanoma). His oncologist, Dr. Carlos Ortiz, has confirmed this. Gengibre is truly my son. He's my daily companion, my light, and my reason to smile. For nearly 15 years, he has slept right next to me—first on my bed, and now in his own orthopedic bed beside mine because of his arthritis. Even with his age, he is still full of joy. He isn't "just a dog"; he is my entire family. Gengibre's only hope is immunotherapy (the ONCEPT vaccine), as chemo isn't an option for his kidneys. I am working full-time to cover all his daily medications, but this life-saving vaccine protocol is simply beyond my reach. This help means giving my best friend more qualit
