My baby boy Rocky was found on New Years by a friend of mine who does rescues. He was only about 4 months old, in the street by himself. She wasn’t able to care for him due to having other dogs, so she brought my wonderful boy to his furever home! He’s been with me since January 7th, 2025 and he’s the sweetest, most loving, affectionate, silly boy ever. Rocky was hit by a car on October 23rd, 2025 at around 9pm. We took him to the vet and got some X-rays done. As a result of the accident, Rocky was left with a broken femur on his left leg. He requires surgery to install a metal plate onto his bone to keep it together. Consultations and surgery is extremely expensive. The hospital we’ve gone to is Allied Veterinary Specialists in South Daytona, FL Rocky is the most amazing dog ever. He is always super comforting and loves his cuddles/belly rubs. His favorite treats are donut shaped with frosting, his excitement every time he knows he’s getting that one specifically is the cutest thing ever. He knows how to sit, paw, high five (both paws), up, lay down, and many more! He’s super smart, he has full blown conversations with me and I love it This unexpected accident has caused a lot of distress and pain. Watching Rocky suffer has been the worst experience. The quotes for surgery is thousands of dollars, the consultation alone is in the hundreds. Amputation is the only other option and it’s still in the thousands

Bailey came into our lives unexpectedly, but we needed him as much as he needed us! Our other dog Harley also needed a buddy! We couldn’t imagine being without either one 💙💙 Over last few days he has been squirting blood from his butt (pic included). I’ve spent 800 on vet bills this month, both dogs annuals, meds, etc and I just don’t have the extra to take him to vet, for possible X-rays. His vet is Twin Maples in Miamisburg Ohio. Bailey is the most loving dog. When we rescued him he was scared, wouldn’t bark AT ALL. Over last year he has came out of his little shell 💙 he loves his brother Harley, Harley has taught him how to be a dog, yes he even barks now 🥹 I have worried every day, I’m struggling for him. I want Bailey to be ok, && I’m just not sure if he is. I’m on day 3 & praying 🙏🏼 I get Bailey some help

I'm a United States Air Force Gulf War Veteran with 100% service connected disability. 4 years ago Kawhi (sounds like Koo-Why) graduated a Veterans service dog program called "Stray to Service". He's a 100 pound Newfoundland /Border Collie rescue from an Indian reservation in Montana. Kawhi and I have been inseparable ever since. It's just he and I in life and he is my everything. Kawhi is now in terrible pain and needs help. He has developed a severe limp in his front right paw and is in constant discomfort. At just 6.5 years old, he still has so much life and purpose left to live. His care team at CareVet in Freeport, Maine ran bloodwork that came back normal and prescribed pain medication, but it has not helped. He now needs x-rays after trying all other OTC options Kawhi is a seizure alert dog and PTSD / panic attack awareness service dog who is with me 24 hours a day. He is the kindest most gentle furry 100 pound ball of love I have ever seen. His only goal in life, is making sure his master is safe. We have traveled the country together to speak publicly for Veteran suicide prevention and he has become a mascot at my church, gym n Veterans organizations As a disabled Veteran on a fixed income I am barely getting by and Kawhi's Veterinarian says he needs X-rays and the cost of just those is almost $900. Kawhi has been by my side every step. It's now my turn to take care of him. Any help would be deeply appreciated

Blake came a part of our family just a few months after we lost our first GSP Domino who we rescued. Blake did not take her place but he did bring back a bit of joy to the home. We also have a brother of his Oliver, who he loves to play with. A few weeks ago we found a lump on his under chest. When first found it was small, size of a grape maybe. Fast forward to now, the lump is now large more like the size of a lemon/lime. I called our vet Berkshire Vet and asked to set up a payment plan for the visit as times are hard right now and not knowing what it is there is no telling the cost,and they do not offer that payment option. Blake is a huge part of this family. He goes where I go most of the time. He is so loving and caring he knows when we are sad and he joins in the joy when he sees that we are happy. He gets so excited when he hears his human brothers truck pull up the street. He is more than just a dog to us. I know all say that but its true thats whay its always said. Times are hard for us all, I’m not saying I’m more financial hurting than the next. So this is hard for us to ask for help from our community. However, I have seen them come together for other, I hope they will help us too.

Hendrixx came into my life when I was just 19. He just turned 9 and has lived with me in multiple different states and travelled across the US 4x. He is truly a military brat! He was diagnosed with AGASACA on September 5th 2025. We have travelled far and wide for treatments. He received radiation at Charlotte Veterinary Specialist Center and he receives Chemotherapy at Charleston Veterinary Referral Center. Henny is the most special soul. He looks scary but he would never hurt a fly. He loves booty and belly scratches, good food, and cuddling. He is an extension of light for everyone who meets him. He’s gentle, quiet, loving, resilient and makes the worst day the best when he climbs in your arms. He loves going to grandmas house and spending time with my friends and his fellow doggy (and cat) friends I have a fixed income that is being eaten up with his vet bills. After running numbers I keep coming up short on my bills and Hennys bills. I have looked into extra work for myself. But i cannot afford this o on my own

Hi everyone my name is Kenny and I’m reaching out regarding my sweet boy Kai who is a Korean Jindo. I got Kai from a local breeder when he was only 2 months old and has been such a huge blessing to have him in my life with a loving home. We currently live in a small apartment and very happy despite our small space! Unfortunately Kai got into a car accident and his right leg got fractured according to the diagnosis. Luckily he didn’t sustain life threatening injury, however he does need surgical repair so the bone can heal properly. The hospital I will be going to is called the Emergency Hospital of San Gabriel Valley and they referred me to a low cost clinic in Fontana. Kai is the sweetest boy, he loves playing with other dogs and has such a gentle and kind personality. I’ve never had a dog like home before and he’s always happy and excited to enjoy life. He also loves hiking with me in the mountains, and my family members also love spending time with him. Amazing dog! Yes I have been struggling financially since losing my job and deciding to go back to school full time to learn new skills so that I can start working again. It would mean the world to me for Kai to fully recover from this accident, and back to his playful self once again.

It was the week of July 4th, 2020, when my neighbor was evicted and left one of their dogs outside their apartment door. I was heartbroken and honestly couldn’t believe someone could abandon such a sweet, gentle soul. For about a week, I slowly earned her trust one piece of bologna and one hot dog at a time until she finally let me pick her up and bring her inside. From that moment on, we’ve been Earlier this year, I started noticing that something wasn’t right. She began bumping into things, and her back legs seemed weak and unsteady. Worried, I took her to the Animal Hospital of Rowlett. Her bloodwork came back normal, but we all knew something was clearly wrong. After further testing, we discovered she had gone blind but that still didn’t explain the weakness in her back legs. Lulu and Rosie are my emotional support dogs, and the bond they share is truly something special. They’re inseparable always side by side, whether they’re eating, sleeping, or just lounging together. I honestly can’t imagine having one without the other, and I know in my heart they feel the same way too. They bring each other comfort, and together, they’ve brought so much love and stability. The vet referred us to MedVet, where they recommended a neurology scan and an MRI of her spine to get a definitive diagnosis. Unfortunately, the cost of those next steps this is beyond my capacity due to me being on SSI

Korra has been in our family since she was a puppy. She is my son's dog & has been a companion to him through many trials & challenges in his short life. She grew up with him, supporting him through all his mental health challenges & young adult growing pains. Korra & my son are both "homeless" due to continued lack of employment due to mental health disorder. Through it all Korra has been by him She has had a mass growing on her stomach for 8 months. She was seen in February 25, but lack of financial abilities prevented vet. Care. Recently she has exhibited more signs of illness, lack of appetite, lethargy, vomiting, etc. A trip to the local vet & transfer to Emergency Vet care has a diagnosis of Diabetic Ketone accidosis. She is at Bridgetown Emergency hospital in Tualatin, OR now. Korra is such a good dog. She is WELL behaved & loved by all. She is sweet with my 10 & 5 yr. Old grandkids. She watches over them & keeps them safe. She provides so much comfort for my son with his mental health. She loves him & he loves her. She is not as active as she was as a puppy, but she is very loving & sweet. She loves belly rubs, ear & back scratches. She loves to roll around in grass. My son struggles with his mental health & it is hard for him to maintain employment. Its difficult for him to maintain housing & provide care for himself & Korra. This major medical bill to get her well will bring added stress to a difficult situation. They need help:0(

Buck is my service and emotional-support dog, and he means everything to me. Recently he began limping and crying whenever he tries to move. The pain in his leg or hip has gotten so bad that he can barely walk. I live with permanent disabilities and rely on SSDI, so I don’t have the money to take him to a veterinarian, but I can’t stand to see him hurting like this. Buck isn’t just my dog Well I got him from the shelter this his first time been like this the hospital is in Grand prairie on 161 vet ER they was saying he had a injured tendon in his right leg it brings him pain,he limps around and takes a minute to get up Buck isn’t just a service dog—he’s the heartbeat of our home. He greets everyone who walks through the door with a wag and a look that melts hearts. He loves squeaky toys, soft blankets, and curling up right beside me at night to make sure I’m safe. When I have anxiety or panic attacks, he gently presses his body against mine until I calm down. He seems to know my emotions before I do. I live on a fixed disability income, and I simply don’t have the funds to pay for Buck’s vet care. Seeing him in pain breaks my heart. Getting him healthy again would give me peace and bring happiness back into our home. He’s my strength and my comfort.
