Nala is a presa canario, we got her as a puppy from her mom. She is a character loves to talk to you when she wants something whether its attention or food. Her best friend is my 12 year old pitbull Sadie they do everything together. This is an emergency, took her to our vet at All Pets Hospital and they did xray and said she needs a TPLO (ACL) surgery. She is in a lot of pain. I have a consultation with specialist on 10/31/25 at Blue Pearl in Des Moines, IA, and if all goes well they do same day surgery. I don't have a estimate sheet, but they did inform me that consultation will be around $300 and surgery could be $6k. Nala is the biggest teddy bear and lover. She loves children, loves her rope and tug a war, she knows the difference between a child playing with her and an adult. She is very strong. She is the biggest talker. If I don't pay attention to her she will yell at me, she lets me know when her bowl is empty and when she wants outside. I am on a fixed income. I only get Disability every month. I want Nala happy and talking back at me again, not sad and in pain. To have her be able to walk normal and be happy would mean the world to me. She is my baby!

Anyone who knows me knows Bentley, I got her when she was just a couple months old and god really new I needed her, she’s saved my life in more ways than one and she is my soul dog forever and a true best friend who has showed me so much love over the last 6 years. All my bad days she’s helped me through and words cannot describe what she means to me. Bentley had a vet appointment last week and I found out from the vet she has 3 tumors on her belly and I am completely broken, she needs to have surgery where they will test the tumors and see if they are cancer or benign and I’ve been praying every night that when that happens they come back benign or my whole world will honestly fall apart Bentley is so so special to me and everyone that knows me knows what she means to me. Precious was rescued off the streets, she was very skinny and very scared. She was probably bred to be a fighting dog.But I think she was the one that was supposed to be attacked.. She was very timid. And you could see every one of her ribs because she was so skinny and frail Throughout the years precious has had a few problems first she was attacked by another dog and almost lost her ear.She had many cuts and it took forever for her to feel better. Then she had a growth on her paw, which we had removed and biopsied, and it came back benign. And now she has something growing in her mouth and needs oral surgery.. We got Daisy when we were first dating during Covid. One day, we were just scrolling through Craigslist, and the moment I saw her, I knew she was the one. We drove nearly eight hours round trip to bring her home. For about two years, Daisy was our only pup, soaking up all the love and attention. Then one we randomly came home with our second dog, Mikey. They are now besties. We recently discovered that Daisy has kidney stones, including one large stone she can’t pass on her own. We took her to Abby Pet Hospital, where they prescribed antibiotics and a special diet to help manage her pain and keep her comfortable. These treatments will help for now, but she’ll soon need surgery to make a full recovery and feel like herself again. Daisy is our world. She’s grown up with us and been there through so many life changes. She loves to cuddle and play with her Lamb Chop toys, and nothing makes her happier than chasing Mikey around the house. Tummy rubs are her absolute favorite, and her sweet, loving personality fills our home with so much joy every day. This has been an unexpected expense we weren’t prepared for. About 2 years ago we lost our beloved dog Muggs. We swore we would not get another dog because of the hole he left in our hearts but after seeing pictures of Roxxi (then named Bluey) and the conditions she was living in we knew we had to open our hearts again. So in May 2025 we rescued Roxxi aka Bluey. She has been a handful I must say. She is loving, caring, energetic, rambuctious, and sweet. We discovered at a previous checkup that Roxxi had a small heart murmur and it would be monitored now I find out the murmur has gotten worse. She will need a heart scan to determine the prognosis. The vet is Banfield Hospital in Frederick, MD. It will be a costly procedure but she cannot have her surgery rescheduled until they determine the problem. This problem has delayed her being spayed. Roxxi is very attached to me and my son and is very protective of the family. She greets us with her wagging tail whenever we return home and lots of kisses too. She loves to take walks and ride in the car. My son works at Starbucks and she is the Mascot of the store getting a special pup cup each time she visits. Her pointy ears and pink snout make her so adorable to everyone. Because I am on Disability my income has decreased and therefore it has been a struggle for us. Now this bill will definitely set us back. Roxxi has become a big part of our family and has opened our hearts to love again so it would mean to world to us if you help in any way

We got Mylo as our family pet back in 2013 are kids were little Mylo was 8 weeks old when he joined our family he grew up as a brother to our children that are now grown. Our two boys joined the military and our daughter has given us two amazing grandbabies. When our children check up on us they care more about Mylo's well being then ours lol.. But it's true he's been a big part of their life. Okay so Mylo ear has blown up like a balloon we took him to an ER vet that said they could give him temporary relief by draining it but he really needs surgery to get the ear issue resolved we don't have the funds for either. We really are just praying for a miracle to help him because we can't afford the medical bills and it really hurts us because our pet is in pain. Mylo is our baby. He's special because we've raised him along with our children and he is a special person in their lives that could never be replaced. He's very friendly he's amazing he's getting older now and we want to make sure that he's not in pain he's been a great addition to our family. When our boys come home on leave we have one in Navy and ones a marine Mylo is the first person they look for he's their❤️ Low income have to apply for assistance at times of need. Work as a server and times have been tough. It would mean everything to us to get him the help he needs. I hate to see him in pain it truly kills me inside. He's truly been a blessing to our fam our kids heart n soul
