Chester came into my life because my partners cousin couldn’t care for him and we decided to take him in he was only 4 months old and he was getting bullied by her cousin other kittens she had. As an outcast all we want is love and someone to care just for us. Chester has been with me for 4 years of his life and he has been my reason to breathe everyday. Chester is currently going through a urinary blockage. He needs a catheter put in to him continuously urinate and not obstruct again and he needs x-rays to check the placement and help the doctors determine what else to do. He really needs the help he’s struggling and it really can’t go any longer My Chester is our baby and is known by everyone I know and he loves love he’s the most precious thing to everyone he meets and he really enjoys pets and rolling over for people he likes Honestly it’d mean everything to me to have my Chester back in 100% health and peeing safely. He truly is the reason I wake up everyday and keep going he’s the one that keeps me from staying out late or going out because honestly I rather be home with my cat.

Theodora was only hours away from being euthanized. She entered the county shelter alongside her sister, Cece, and the two young dogs faced the same heartbreaking fate. Before their time ran out, Super B Foundation stepped in and saved both sisters, giving them the second chance they deserved. Now, Theodora's future depends on receiving the medical care she needs. While her sister is recovering from wounds and kennel cough, Theodora is waiting for her own chance to start over. Because she arrived at the shelter with swollen mammary glands, there is concern that she may be pregnant. Thankfully, her spay surgery has already been scheduled, but first, her veterinary team must confirm that she isn't expecting puppies. If she is not pregnant, this surgery will prevent future litters and allow her to begin her new life healthy and safe. Rescuers are also watching her closely for signs of kennel cough after being housed with Cece in the shelter. If she becomes sick, her surgery may have to be postponed, delaying the fresh start she's waited so long for. Look at the videos of her at the shelter and her ride of freedom with her sister. Cece Escaped the Euthanasia List, but Her Fight Isn’t Over

This sweet 2-year-old Terrier mix was on the euthanasia list alongside her sister, Theodora. After surviving life as a stray, Cece and her sister were only hours away from losing their lives in an overcrowded high-kill shelter in southern California. Super B Foundation refused to let Cece and her sister become another heartbreaking statistic, pulling them to safety just in time. But while Cece escaped euthanasia, her fight is far from over. When Cece arrived in rescue, the extent of her injuries became clear. She had scabbed-over wounds across her neck and the top of her head, likely from an older dog attack. She already had a painful infection on the right side of her face that required immediate medical treatment, cleaning, and medication. At the shelter, Cece developed kennel cough and is now battling a persistent upper respiratory infection. On top of everything else, there is concern that Cece—and possibly her sister—may be pregnant. While Theodora is scheduled to be spayed, Cece must first recover from her illness before she can safely undergo surgery. After everything she has survived, Cece deserves the chance to start her journey on the road to recovery. I’m trying to get help for a kitten that was rehomed but was brought back to my parents on Saturday, my mom called me to tell me something was wrong with her, I took her to the vet & they told me she has a neurological issue but I can’t afford to pay for more test or treatments & I can’t have pets in the studio I live in, I feel like if she receives the treatments she needs, she’ll live. They told me she has a neurological problem but they’re not sure what’s wrong because we don’t know what caused it, I took her to a 24hr pet hospital but it cost up $900 to do more tests and they ask for more than %50 deposit I can’t afford, & I can’t get into more debt in these times. She was a very happy and playful cat before she was rehomed, I’m not sure what happened but the person that bought her back won’t take responsibility of what happened to her, & I can’t financially take care of her and I’m not able to keep her either. I’ve called clinic and resources for help but I’m not getting a respond back. Please help. Thank you. I’m looking for help to get the kitten treatment, I can tell she’s a fighter but it’s hard, I live in a studio where I’m not allowed pets and right now it’s hard to financially care for her because times are hard but I don’t have the heart to abandon her or put her down

We adopted our puppy Dahlia when she was just 8 weeks old after meeting her at a local festival. Since then, she's been a cherished member of our family, growing up in a loving home surrounded by people who adore her. She also has a furry "big sister" in our other dog, and the two have formed a close bond. She also loves to run and play with our 4 children at home, and has bonded with our oldest. A few months ago, Dahlia climbed onto a plastic playhouse in our backyard and slipped, falling onto the concrete below. At Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Care at Noah's Animal Hospital, we learned she had suffered a severe fracture near her hip. Her veterinarian recommended amputation as the best option for a healthy, pain-free future, and she's been thriving ever since. Dahlia is deeply bonded with our oldest son, who also has a prescribed ESA, and the two are inseparable. She loves fetch, car rides, walks, cuddling in our laps, and has learned numerous commands. Her favorite greeting is running toward you with an adorable bunny hop, convinced she's about to climb into your lap. She fills our home with joy every single day. Dahlia's surgery came unexpectedly, and despite careful planning, the cost has placed a significant financial strain on our family. George came into our life in March of 2020. He was born to a litter in Kentucky and sent to the Animal Rescue Project in Kalamazoo. He was fostered by a lovely family and at 10 weeks old he came home to us. We had previously adopted our other dog, Jaxson from the same organization and had a great experience. George was no different. He came to us FULL of personality! George needs surgery to repair both of his hind legs. We are working with Gobles Veterinary clinic who specialize in orthopedic surgery for dogs. He is only 6 years old and has a long life to live. George loves to greet people at the front door with a toy in his mouth! He has given many a teenage girl their first kiss...Georgie is definitely a lover! We have adopted 3 dogs from rescue organizations. We are two disabled veterans who are just trying to make the world a better place. Varren is retired and works part time at a local hardware store and Stacey works full time in private practice as a therapist.

Rainbo is my best friend. She has been with me through everything. She is a sweetheart, loving playful dog. I would give anything to help her quality of life and hopefully recover some function for her. My dog was brought in to the emergency vet for back pain and we were sent home with meds for pain management. Overnight, it progressed into stage 5 IVDD. She is now incontinent and unable to use her back legs. The surgery is time sensitive. She loves to play. Go for walks. Be my companion. She loves food more than anything, she loves to bark as she is a beagle mix. She is the sweetest dog I could ever ask for. The down payment to even begin the process for surgery is 7 thousand dollars. This is a lot to ask anyone but my family is not able to come up with the funds in the time frame that is required. I would be overjoyed to see my dog return to her old self. She is too young.

I live in a men's sober living house. I have lived here about six months, and when I moved in there was this dog that was adopted over from the previous owner. So it is a house dog. When I moved in the dog had a obvious health condition with a collyflower ear, and it continues to get worse as she scratches at it. I asked the previous house guys what they have done if anything to help and I heard something about cream that didn't help. This house dog is a friendly mamma, and a welcome and cared for member of the sober living house. I believe that just about everyone who comes through here has a good experience with her. I have been unemployed and looking for work all year and continue to struggle. I continue to attend my twelve step meetings and do all I can to be self supporting, however this is a cost I cannot take on

Ollie's Medical Mystery Can't Wait

Tomorrow marks one year since Ollie arrived at The Animal Pad from the ESLR hoarding case- a heartbreaking situation where a fake rescue in Ensenada, MX posed as an organization helping dogs while hoarding animals and pocketing donations instead of providing care. After everything he’s survived, we never imagined he’d be fighting another battle so soon. In the middle of the night, Ollie suddenly began vomiting and became extremely lethargic. We rushed him to the emergency hospital, where initial bloodwork revealed dangerously low platelets. While we monitored him closely, his condition worsened the following day when he began urinating blood, prompting immediate hospitalization. For the past three days, Ollie has undergone extensive diagnostics, including an ultrasound, specialized bloodwork, and continuous supportive care. His kidneys are now showing signs of distress, and the ultrasound revealed gastritis, a thickened bladder, and a small mass on his liver. At this time, the liver mass is not believed to be the primary concern, but we are still searching for answers. This morning finally brought a bit of hope. Ollie is eating again, his vomiting has stopped, and he’s wagging his tail despite everything he’s been through. He was severely dehydrated and drinking excessive amounts of water, but we’re hopeful he’ll be well enough to return home today while we await the results of advanced testing to determine what’s causing these serious symptoms. Ollie has overcome unimaginable hardship once before, and now he needs our community to help him through this next chapter. His medical bills continue to grow with every test, specialist, and day of hospitalization. 7/24/26 Update We have a hopeful update on Ollie! After a very scary medical emergency and hospitalization, Ollie is doing much better. His veterinary team believes this was an acute episode, and we're relieved to share that his blood work has returned to normal. He's feeling more like himself again, his energy has improved, and everyone caring for him is encouraged by the progress he's made. While this is wonderful news, Ollie isn't out of the woods just yet. His recovery is still ongoing, and his veterinary team will continue to monitor him closely to make sure his condition remains stable. After everything he's been through, we're taking things one day at a time and staying hopeful that this improvement continues. Although Ollie is back home and feeling better, the cost of the emergency care that helped save his life remains. Those veterinary bills don't disappear just because he's improving, and we're still working to cover the cost of his hospitalization, diagnostics, and treatment. Ollie is back home with his foster and continuing to recover after his frightening medical emergency. His kidney values have improved substantially, although they haven’t completely returned to where his veterinary team would like them to be just yet. In the coming weeks, Ollie will see an internal medicine specialist and have additional testing, including a repeat CBC and tick PCR. His veterinary team believes his illness may have been caused by a possible Ehrlichia flare up, and these next tests will hopefully provide more answers. The follow up testing will also help determine whether the changes in Ollie’s kidney values were temporary or if there is an underlying kidney issue that will require continued care. For now, we’re so grateful that Ollie is home and doing better. The Animal Pad will continue to make sure he receives the specialized care and follow up he needs, and we’ll share another update once we know more from his upcoming visit.
