Hi everyone, my name is Papi and I am a very friendly dog. I come from a background of loneliness anxiety due to my previous family always working when my new family came and got me. I was the talk of the town!when my new owner got me. I had a dental problems, not so much but as the years grew on, I’ve been with my new owner for about 11yr now my favorite thing to do is to soak in the sun. When we got Papi 11 years ago, he was confirmed as to having kennel, cough, and very bad dental problem, but that did not stop me from getting him and bringing him home from the first time I met him. He always had a a good soul with his teeth has worsened over the time due to it, making him sick throwing up barely can eat due to the loosening of his teeth, and bacteria is sitting in his stomach Since Papi is an older dog, he plays here and there, but as he’s gotten older, he’s resting a lot he loves sitting in the sun. He loves his chew toy and also loves treats. His favorite one is chicken. But over the years as we’ve had him since he was one, his playtime has narrowed down to just laying around always in my lap. I love it. Currently right now, I am not working due to a sciatic nerve that I messed up in my neck I have very little income to provide for my dog and my five-year-old daughter we are on. We are on a strict budget due to funds being low. I can’t afford a lot of things.

Chloe

Chloe is a 8 year old Boxer in Parkersburg, WV, who needs $4,000 for TTA Surgery.

Chloe came to me after her owner passed away. She was very timid and not placeable with a rescue. It took her Months to decompress and she’s come out of her shell a lot in the 4 years that I’ve had her. She has a complete ACL Tear and will need the TPLO surgery at a cost of $4000-5000 (currently waiting to get appt for X-rays and final bill amount). The surgery is a long one and expensive depending on surgeon but it needs to be done by specialist Chloe lost people she loves and she’s come a long way. She’s only 8 and needs the surgery to continue to thrive. Without it she will have constant pain and struggle to walk I am a single income household. We get by with no help but this is a major expense for her and me. I have enough set aside in savings to cover 1/2 almost but would like to be able to cover the rest without going further into credit card debt which is hard to climb out of

I saved my Bella in a bad snowstorm in 2021 on a back road inside of a box with newspaper? She had 2 others with her but sadly they did not make. I've had Bella for 4 years now she's the sweetest thing. She also has 1 big brother and 2 big sisters. Ever since that storm we had bonded more than my other 3 dogs did and Shes always been by my side through depression to anger she never left my side She has heart worms. Today she woke up out of a dead sleep, and she looked up stared into space then just collapse down and wasn't really responsive her gums were really white and I didn't know what to do. so, I rushed her to my vet, and they did some test on her and came back positive for heartworms. thanks to Westridge vet clinic in Texarkana for fitting me in at the last 10 mins before close. Bella only let's a few people in her life. She's not a fan of my gf but she loves my mom her grandma. And her other favorite is Grace my oldest one. She took care of her like it was one of her own. Grace had puppies at the time too. She's very friendly with other dogs and cats. She's a lover not a fighter. she loves talking to everyone who wakes up or walks through the door. swear shes part Huskey The job I'm currently at I'm making barely just enough to cover my bills. Now I'm trying to figure out how I can take care of her and my bills, and it's very stressful. having her up and back with her happy talkative goofy self it'll take off a lot of stress.

Switch

Switch is a 4 year old White English Bulldog in Archer, FL, who needs $2,000 for BOAS Surgery / Tracheostomy.

Switch came to me from Second Chance Rescue & Rehoming. She is 4.5. She lives with 2 other dogs Franki and Tripp who are also rescues. Her nickname is "Switcharoo". She got the nickname because she can be super sweet but also can be a tad grumpy. She is a momma's girl through and through but she will raise her lip at me if I give her too many kisses when she is trying to nap. Switch is currently on a ventilator at UF Small Animal Hospital in Gainesville, FL. What was supposed to be a fun evening at the beach turned into my worst nightmare. She got inhalation pneumonia. Now she has had a tracheostomy due to her tongue and face being swollen which made it harder for her to breathe. They also performed BOAS surgery to help with her breathing. I taught her this trick "Don't look at me" which is so cute. She will also give me kisses for treats although sometimes it's more slobber than a kiss. She also had a tendency to sneeze in your face when you're not expecting it. She is truly the cutest dog in the world (at least to her momma) and she needs your help. She's the heartbeat of my existence. She loves to go camping with us. I am devastated and unable to focus on anything but her and getting her to come home. Having her back home would be life changing for me. Honestly, it's all I want in the world is to hold her, pet her, and kiss her again. She's my EVERYTHING!

Buster is a rescue and when I got him he was close to being euthanized as a 1 year old pup. I was a sophomore in college coming off an acl surgery and needed a companion to help me through my own mental battles. So I decided to foster Buster, but after fostering him, I couldn’t let home go because he helped me through so much already. So I decided to adopt him and keep him apart of my family. Buster unfortunately tore both of his CCL’s. Which is funny because I’ve seen so many videos online about soul dogs and I tore both of my acls which means Buster was meant for me in a funny way. He’s been able to take anti-inflammatorys to help with the pain but his condition has been getting worse overtime. He wants to play and go outside for his walks but due to his condition he can’t walk far. Buster is a loving dog who gets along with humans and other animals. All he cares about is companionship and food lol. He loves being by my side or the side of my family members and loves to be in every situation. I’ve been going through some personal and financial issues, but have been saving ever since I found out about busters condition. I’m hoping to raise atleast half of his surgery costs which would be half of $14,000 for bi-lateral ccl surgery.

We got him from a lady that didn’t want him he was only 4 weeks olds when we picked him up. He is a spunky yet very protective of me we love him so much and want him to be better I felt so helpless that I help all kinds of pets and now I’m faced to help my dog and I can’t I feed my neighbors dog 2 times a day because no one cares for him He’s always been healthy, but we noticed he was dripping when urinating. After antibiotics helped only a little, things took a turn—last night he couldn’t urinate at all. At the emergency vet, our worst fear came true: he had large stones causing a complete blockage, and he needed life-saving surgery right away. Our pet is more than family he brings comfort, joy, and laughter every day. Gentle with kids, loyal with adults, and always ready to play or cuddle, Yeezus makes every moment brighter. Fixed income husband has kidney failure and just had neck surgery he gets SSI and we have no extra funds for anything else I haven’t even been able to pay my credit card bills in 2 months. I need him back home with me he is my best friend

Zippy

Before I even saw or met Zippy I already had the name picked out. I just loved the name Zippy for a dog. I had just moved out of my parent’s house, it had not even been a week and I realized I needed a dog. I found a corgi breeder and immediately fell in love with this puppy. Zippy ended up fitting her perfectly and she is now the best dog I could ever ask for. Zippy has had back issues for over a year that has gotten significantly worse within the last month. She is dragging her back hind leg. My favorite part of the day is to walk her and I haven’t been able to do that recently. Zippy needs an MRI to get a diagnosis and her insurance is denying paying for it. The hospital is Animal Emergency and Speciality center in Parker Colorado. Zippy is so friendly with all other animals and people of all ages. She loved everyone and had the best personality. She doesn’t bark only whines when she wants to play or needs some cuddles! She never leaves my side and makes everyday full of light and smiles. Zippy is loved by all!! I pay $90 a month for pet insurance and they are refusing to cover her MRI cost. The MRI is $5,600. It will also be able to tell us if she needs surgery. I just finished school and am saving for a house and wedding.

Rocky came from a rescue. He lives in our home with our family in Philadelphia he is neutered lab shepherd mix. He’s tan and black. He is 3 years old. Rocky has allergies and it’s becoming irritated again and I just lost my job and can’t afford to pay for his allergies appointments. He is starting to get a yeast infection and needs immediate attention Rocky is special because he is our first family dog. He was from a rescue in North Carolina and he is so friendly sweet and cuddly. He makes us whole. Unfortunately I lost my job and I had some medical issues and couldn’t work and I’m just starting to work again but cannot afford to get him to the vet to get his allergies under control he desperately needs to go soon.

Max

We adopted Max December 2017. We need to rehome him because we no longer can meet his needs. I’m a now a single mom of 2 toddlers and I just can’t give max the love and attention he deserves. Max got hit by a car and needs bandage changes every 48 hours right now. He will not lose his leg as long as the wound is being taken care of. We are taking him to the Denton County Animal hospital for that, he will need his vax and deworming done as soon as possible. Max is a sweet and playful dog, does well with all adults as long as they play with him. He does not bite or attack, however when he is in his cage he does get a bit territorial and he does not like getting his toes touched, nail trimmed or teeth cleaned. He gets anxiety every once in a while. Max leg wound care is being taken care of with donations, however what will cost the new owner will be all the vax and deworming care that he needs to get back to date
