Hello, and meet Eden! I rescued her from a breeding facility. She would not take to a litter anymore so they counted her as “trash”. I gladly took her in and she has been a savior in my life! I was going through a hard time with losing my father and she has been a light to my dark! She loves to feel the cooler weather blowing through her hair and she loves belly scratches! Eden is 6 years old and was never spayed. She developed something called pyrometra which is an infection in her uterus. She has a fever of 106 and can barely stand! This surgery is life saving and she cannot go without it. When the vet told me this today my heart sunk. She surgery is 3000 and she was seen today at quail corners vet hospital in Raleigh nc. She loves her treats and going to explore new places. She has went with me everywhere since I have gotten her and is a very smart girl! She loved to flop on the floors of the stores and give you a smile that is worth millions! She sticks her feet out and acts like an animal rug is what my family says! She loves to run around and play fetch with mr chicken her toy. She loves playing dress up! I am a full time collage student with loans over my head. I have applied for credit cards for her and I want a full life with my girl! She has not lived enough and this would mean the world to me. She was life changing and I need to be there for her!

In 2019, we welcomed Rainbow into our family. She was rescued from a former coworker who was on her way to the dog pound. The name Rainbow was suggested by our youngest daughter, and we decided to make it official. We wrote down our name suggestions, put them in a hat, and let Mawmaw draw the winning name. As luck would have it, Rainbow was the chosen name, and our daughter was over the moon! This morning around 6 am, I noticed Rainbow wasn't her usual happy self. Normally, she'd run to me while I'm making lunch for my daughter. But today, she was having trouble walking. Things took a turn for the worse when she fell down the stairs and struggled to use the bathroom. After dropping off my daughter at school, I took Rainbow to the emergency vet, and the diagnosis was devastating Rainbow, our lovable dog, is going through a tough time. She's usually a bundle of energy, spreading joy and love to everyone around her. But currently, it's sad to see her struggling to scooting across the floor - it's just not like our lively Rainbow. As a stay-at-home mom, I'm responsible for taking one of my daughters to and from a private school that specializes in supporting children with learning issues. Given our fixed income, we're having to adjust to this unforeseen expense, which has arisen suddenly.

Emmet

Emmet is a 8 year old Maltese in Peoria, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Brain MRI.

We have had Emmet since he was 6 months old. He is a maltese/yorkie mix that looks mostly maltese. He was named after the character Emmet in the Lego Movie by our son. Emmet suddenly started having complex partial seizures on July 19th. He has had an average of 3 per week since then. Because of his age, epilepsy is less common than other causes of seizures like a brain tumor or infections. He is being seen at Veterinary Neurological Center in Phoenix, AZ. They have recommended an MRI but it is too expensive for us to pursue without assistance. Emmet loves people and other dogs! He is such a sweetheart. He loves being with his family, going for walks, eating treats, playing with puzzle toys, taking naps, and belly rubs. This is a sudden, major medical expense that is happening at a time when we are experiencing health issues as well. He is like a brother to our son and it would mean so much to him to know what is going on and potentially be able to help him get better.

Curly is a younger brother to our other Australian shepherd Johnny Ringo. We got him from a friend that breeds pure aussies. We got him when he was 8 weeks old and he right away became family. Curly Bill is the most playful and also very spoiled dog that would think he lives in luxury. He will also give in return an endless amount of kisses. He is great with my grandbabies and is a great dog. Curly was taken to Caring Hearts in Arizona and had a diagnosis of Parathyroid adenoma. After almost $3000 already put in for treatment at home his diagnosis requires surgery that is $6000. If we are able to get him the surgery he needs he is expected to make a full recovery and live a healthy full life. I don’t want his life to end just because I can’t afford his life saving surgery. The best way to describe Curly is like a toddler. He gets into everything, but then looks at you like your the best thing in the world to him. He has grown attached to my grandbabies and always playing with them and making sure they are safe. Truly a protector and a herd dog. My wife was laid off from her job so we lost half our income and I’m a general contractor that went through a loss on a couple jobs that pressed us for money. Curly is not just a dog to us. He is one of us and the thought of him being gone is devastating to everyone.

Bleu

Bleu is a 3 month old French Bulldog in Hudson, WI, who needs $2,000 for Left Forelimb Distal Humerus Surgical Repair.

Bleu is beyond special, my fur baby Bleu was gifted to me by a breeder on 9/8/25 shortly after the loss of my stillborn baby boy on 9/5/25, he is actually named after my baby boy Emery Bleu. He means so much to me and I just feel terrible he is hurting. He is my only pet, and brings me so much joy after such a tragic loss. Bleu is a 3 month old Frenchie, he sustained a left forelimb distal humerus fracture that requires surgical repair at Mission animal hospital. Unfortunately I am on short term disability due to delivering my still born baby September 5th, 2025. My income is essentially non existent at the moment, my short term disability has not started yet as I am waiting to be approved for my claim. Bleu immediately brought my family so much joy after such a tragic loss. He was a gift from a breeder after she heard our story about our stillborn baby boy. I did not realize how much I needed a fur baby until I was gifted Bleu. He is such a happy, energetic puppy and I feel horrible he is pain. I am a RN, and currently out of work due to the loss of my stillborn baby boy at 5.5 months pregnant. My claim for short term disability is still pending, and my income is zero at the moment, short term supplements 60% of my income and does not cover my living expenses.

I got boo-boo at 2 months old, my mom got me her after my dad had passed to be less lonley and she’s been in my life every since, she means the world too me she’s a 13 year old sweet girl who loves people and has such a high spirit in such a tiny little body. Anyone has ever met her fell in love with her. We’ve gone on wonderful adventures together especially our fun bike rides. She has a big mass under abdomen, and just such discomfort, very stiff movement and dislocating knees. They just want to do blood work and and X-ray to see how everything is going. Northeast Vet is the name. She’s a wonderful dog, she loves being around people and people love her, my mom and her before my mom passed were tied at the hip, my mom treated her like her other child. She’s such a lovely girl and brings joy to me and everyone around her, she knows how to make you laugh during a rough time and the vets loved her. My older brother loves her and she loves being around him when we get the chance I live in low income and get SSI every month so I do not work. It would mean so much to just see her be her best self again after losing both of my parents, she’s really the closest I have right now. Besides my brother. I live on my own and to lose her would be very devastat

Huntley

Huntley is a 8 year old Labrador Retriever in Woodbury, MN, who needs $4,500 for CT and Rhinoscopy.

Huntley lives with my grandma, mom, and I with our other dog Maverick. Huntley was rescued from cocos heart rescue, his litter mates were found under a barn with his mother and they suspect she had seizures while pregnant. Huntley was labeled feral but a more accurate term is skiddish as he has a lot of anxiety and possible depth perception struggles. Huntley has had nose bleeds for the last few months we first thought it happened from the raspberry bushes in the back yard. We took him to VEG because he had blood in his stool. They found He has anemia and high globulin. They suspected a GI bleed and possibly cancer. They gave us meds that helped for a bit. We have gone to the vet multiple times and now need a CT and Rhinoscopy that costs 4500$ Huntley is very unique he spins when he wants to be let inside the sliding glass door. He likes ice cubes and can't go outside without rolling around. Huntley has been with us since 2020 and we want to keep him for many more years. My grandma is on disability due to a stroke and heart failure. We got Huntley for her as a support dog. His nose keeps bleeding and we just found out that his anemia is worse and we really need the CT to find out what is wrong. The vet has costed ~3,000$ already now 4500$

Essie came into my life the day after I turned 22 years old. I adopted her from now a very best friend in my life because her daughter was allergic to her. She became my world 🌎 ♥️ she has been through every up and down in my life. I raised her and she is trained as my emotional support dog. I lost her paper work due to a shady storage facility called 10 federal storage. Essie has always been to the vet and been taken care of by cabarrus animal hospital and she recently had 3 vet visits to find out she has cancer and a very serious nasal tumor. I was driving to one of my dr. appointments and recieved a call from the doctor that treated her she said if it were her fur baby she would feed her a steak and give her as much loving as possible. Essie grew up with Lucy our oldest fam dog who passed last year she was a schnauzer blue heeler mix and she trained and fed our other dog remi we had to surrender her due to pyometra she went to Kannapolis animal vet and a vet tech took her in that fell in love with her my mother was very close to her. Essie was also close to both dogs. We are homeless due to a family member being a fraud. I have serious spinal cord injuries and just found out I need surgery on my c-spine. My mom is not in good health and I help her we are battling homelessness due to a family member. At this time I had money saved and it all went to Essie's vet to figure out her diagnosis.

Booboo is a rescue from Helen Woodword. She was my mother's dog and when she died 3 years ago we took her into our home. We are a family of 9 (6 humans and 3 dogs). Booboo needs to have a huge bladder stone removed. I dont work and we have a ton of bills, we make less then we spend monthly. I dont want to put her down just because we cannot afford the surgery of $2000 Booboo is an especially sweet little dog. She is very attentive and cuddly. She loves to have her tummy rubbed, and now we know why. She loves to play with her little doll and she loves to give kisses. My husband is the only one that is able to work. I almost died from Covid and was in a coma for 3 weeks when it first came out which resulted in me losing my job with Mental Health Systems Teen Recovery Center.
