Pugsley was born on Feb 20, 2017. My son, Logan, always wanted a pug however we had two dogs already. When our lab, Shadow, passed away, we decided to check out these pug puppies. We both fell in love with a certain one which is the one we have now. Logan wrote down a few names to choose from and took a vote from his class. Pugsley had the most votes so that's the name we went with. On 7/4/25, we came to find Pugsley had eaten a foreign object in which required emergency vet care. X-rays confirmed this object was still in his stomach. He was admitted overnight to push fluids in hopes the object would pass. As of the morning of 7/5/25, there was no progress. Next option is either an endoscopy or surgery. He is currently in VCA Metzger Animal Hospital -State College PA Pugsley resides with myself, my son and another canine fur baby (Oakley). Pugsley gets a long with all of us. He is loveable and cuddly. He enjoys going for walks, running freely in the yard, plays with toys and loves getting his treats. He is my son's best friend!! I am a single mother of one with one job. Pugsley's situation came up unexpectedly in which I don't have the funds to cover a procedure and/or surgery.

My wife adopted coco after her ESA dog cooper passed away. She’s had her for a year and some change. We have other dogs as well, huskies. My wife and kids came up with the name coco, I believe they just thought she looked like a coco. She’s energetic, very sweet and loving. Coco is roughly only 10 pounds and LOVES her mom. Today is July 4th and we were out lighting fountains and sparklers along with watching the shows in our area. To our horror we came back in to coco’s eye coming out of its socket. I quickly rushed coco to an animal urgent care where she’s awaiting treatment to get her eye removed. It was my dogs who caused this and I feel AWFUL because my wife and coco are hurting. Coco has an undying bond with my wife. This is her ESA companion. When my wife wakes up or even moves coco immediately starts whining for her. She loves to run and play but most of all cuddle. Her favorite treats are freeze dried beef liver! Coco deserves better than what’s happened to her and we love her DEARLY. My wife and I have 4 kids. My brother in law is currently helping us pay bills from prison. I’m working at a dog daycare which is a passion industry so I don’t make much. My checks go straight to smaller bills while my wife takes care of larger bills. Anything helps.

Ivory is a full-bred Siberian Husky, cherished as our first and only pet. She was a special gift from our grandfather, symbolizing love and companionship. Since joining our family over 13 years ago as a puppy, Ivory has brought joy and warmth into our lives. Her playful spirit and loyal nature make her an irreplaceable member of our household. We are grateful for the many memories we have created vory was taken to the veterinarian for a check-up approximately two and a half months ago. We were given some medication to assist treat the lime that was discovered in her blood tests at the Vetco facility. Around the middle to end of May, we saw a tiny bump on her right breast. At first, we believed she had been bitten by a hornet, but as time passed, we noticed the bump getting bigger and that She has brought happiness and loyalty to our home that only a cherished pet can provide. Our relationship grows stronger as she ages, and she becomes an integral part of our family's history. She enjoys eating bread and running endlessly, and despite her condition, she is still quite happy as if nothing had occurred. Requesting financial help for my 13-year-old Husky, Ivory, who needs urgent tests ($1,900) and surgery ($3,000-$5,000) for a growing lump. This sudden emergency isn’t covered by her insurance, and it’s an expense we cannot bear alone. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Fiona is a 11 year old Boston Terrier in Maywood, NJ, who needs $5,500 for Cataract Surgery.

I rescued Fiona from a breeder in Missouri on the hottest day on record for October almost 12 years ago. She has been with me ever since, giving me unconditional love daily. When Fiona came into my life, I got ASPCA Pet Health Insurance for her. It's difficult for me as I rely on Social Security for my income. Fiona was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes (left much worse and now mature). ASPCA refuses to cover her surgery because they claim that it is a "pre-existing" condition. Our regular vet at RAH mentioned it months before in her assessment. I took Fiona to The Animal Eye Center of New Jersey and the specialist said the Left eye could now have surgery. The cost of all that - over $1000 which drained what little savings I had. I do not have the $5500 for her surgery, so I am asking for help before she is completely blind. The reason I depend on Social Security is because in 2014 I was injured at work - never to return. I waited for months and then -- Social Security Disability came. I need Fiona to be able to see at least from one eye. Please help if you can.

Calmer is our 6-year-old pitbull and has been part of our family since she was just 5 months old. She was a gift from our brother, and she’s brought us nothing but smiles, love, laughter, and joy. Recently, Calmer was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor, a form of cancer that requires urgent surgery to remove. The vet at Lifeline clinic has told us that time is of the essence. With surgery, her prognosis is good—but without it, it could spread and her condition could rapidly worsen. Calmer loves not only her family, but she loves everyone that she meets and never meets a stranger wherever she goes. She also loves to go to the daycare and to parks where she gets to play with other dogs. The cost of the surgery is $787 which is more than we can manage on our own. That’s why we’re turning to you—our community—for help. If you’ve ever had a dog that’s more like family than a pet, you know how much this hurts. Calmer is not just our dog, she's our baby.

Lil Bad Ass came to me as a gift from someone I didn't even know. She and I immediately became close. From day one we were the best part of each other. I'm homeless and in desperate need of some help getting my girl all up to date with a full physical, shots, and anything else she needs to keep her healthy since we live out on the streets. Her attitude is full of light and love. Everyday she makes me smile with her crazy antics of stealing my stuff to chew on it or sleep with it. I swear sometimes she really sees your soul. Being homeless makes for a struggle but I'm hopeful that there is help out there from good people who see that struggle and want to truly help you and your pet.

Ranger came into my life as a puppy by way of an old coworker. I gave Ranger his name because when he was first born he came out with a perfect black mask, I named him after the Lone Ranger. My guy is currently 11, I call him my grumpy old man or Mr. Diva. He wants what he wants and will let you know if he is displeased..lol. About 5 years ago Ranger was diagnosed with a heart murmur and currently is stage 5 out of 6. He is currently on 5 medications daily for quality of life. Ranger is currently being treated at Emergency Clinic of Rockford for breathing issues related to his heart condition Ranger loves looking out the window and perform his neighborhood watch. When he is displeased he will sing the song of his people. He also likes running his "perimeter" to assess daily threats of squirrels, leaves and the dreaded evil mail man. He is the first to great anyone through the door, however the pet/scratches tax must be paid promptly. He is an excellent nurse maid. I lost my job in February and had to move from South Carolina to Illinois to help with this financial crisis. I have since found employment but the strain of debt that amassed while out of work is straining. I am trying everything to give Ranger the be quality of life

Hello, My dogs name is Chubbz and he is 3 years of age. I originally was not a dog person, but the minute I saw him, I feel in love he was the biggest one in the litter and that's how he got his name Chubbz. Ones I brought him home he was off and running. Chubbz chewed up my banister, couch, luv seat and shoes. It took days before I would notice but I only was able to stay mad for only a few after Chubbz was always energetic and running around the house. I took him out for his morning walk and noticed he was having issues peeing. I took him to VEG. And they said it was prostate to get him neutered. I did a week later same problem but now he's not eating. Went back to VEG and then they said he had bladder stones. Gave him prescription dog food he still not eating now blood in urine, seizure Chubbz greets everyone in the family when they come over. All of my neighbors come over to play with him. If the glass door is open the neighborhood children will set outside the glass door just play with him. Chubbz love playing with balls and will bring any ball left out side in the house and the neighborhood children will knock on the door because they know Chubbz took their ball. Was forced to retire from Dept. Of Justice. 1st Vet bill was $899.00 Next bill was $375. 00 to be neutered vet said he had prostate and that would help. 3rd bill $2,000.00 emergency vet visit, plus $3,000.00 for overnight stay. Now in emergency vet again don't know how much.

Meet Xeke (3). This beautiful gentle soul came to me as a rescue after my female cane passed away last year from a brain tumor. He is a wonderful companion to me and my other two rescues.He is a big baby, a gentle giant, goofy and silly and has provided so much love to my home, myself and my rescue puppy. He is my bubba and I can't see my life without him. I won't abandon him in his time of need! Sadly, Xeke quietly suffered ccl tears in both knees shortly after neuter and is currently unable to walk without pain. He is sad, confused and house bound losing weight while waiting for a miracle. My non profit vet does not offer surgeries and I am desperate to get him help and give him back his ability to walk. Thedford Animal Hospital near me has quoted $5k for each knee due to his size Xeke is a wiggle butt. His little nubby tail goes a mile a minute when given attention or praised as a good boy(all the time). He has become guardian of the rescue puppy I found on the side of the road and finds great joy as she treats him as a playground. He is so gentle, patient, loving and protective. With a gentle nudge of his giant head, he demands love or tries to stop my puppy training:) I am currently on a sick leave fixed budget and caring for my ill mother, unable to carry the cost or debt of these surgeries. I will not abandon or give him up and cause more trauma to his short life. I owe him so much for all of the joy and love he gives me and the pack.
