We were not planning on getting another dog until we seen whisky, and we were like we just have to get her! We got whiskey from a friend of mine when she was 13 weeks old and now she is thriving as a beautiful 8 month old. We our looking for assistants as our poor baby needs some urgent care from either some type of illness or eating something she shouldn't have and it has caused her to throw up and spit of some blood Whiskey and our other fur baby hades are the best of friends and love chasing each other and playing catch. Whiskey is a stubborn little girl who LOVES to talk back Me and my husband our seeking financial help do to this urgent need to get her care, as we are a low in come family of two as we both just lost our jobs and our working side jobs for family members and doing door dash just to barley pay our bills.

I was volunteering at my local shelter during high school as a graduation requirement, but I ended up loving it and volunteering for two more years after highschool. Just before I graduated, I adopted Twiggy when she was a year old. Then we traveled up and down the CA coast and even parts of Death Valley. She's been best friend thru a lot of hardships. I need a$400 deposit just to secure her appointment because RADPET in Corvallis thinks she has dental disease and is gonna need most of her teeth pulled. She had a swollen cheek that turned into an open wound and start draining:( Then it's going to be at least another $500 for the dental work itself. She loves people. She gets excited and sqeals when someone walks into the room she's in. She loves to follow me around the house and be apart of every little thing I do. She gets along with my younger dog, but she has always preferred people over other animals. She's the kinda dog that makes others want to get one and I have to tell them, she's not like other dogs. I have been homeless for the past 10 years and fighting an SS disability case for the last 3-4 years. I am living off of $340/month from general assistance. I can ask for loans from family, but my relationship with them is already strained and my dogs are all I have...

Molly came into our lives a few years ago because my best friend and partner at the time saw her picture from a breeder needing foster parents for her dogs. She had been abused by her original owner and their other dogs. Molly is the sweetest and most loving dog. She has been a member of our family and heart since 2019 and we've loved her every minute because of her gentleness and loyalty. I drove her last night about 1 and 1/2 hours to MedVet in Asheville NC because when we got home there was blood and poop all over the house and Molly was lying on the floor in shock. We put her in my car and I turned on the emergency blinkers and petted and talked with her the whole way. I panicked several times when her head drooped and not afraid to admit as a 69 year old man I cried and prayed Molly could easily become mean after being abused early in life but instead she became a lover and gentle soul. I have heard her bark maybe several times in the years we had the privilege of her company. She became my emotional partner after moving back to NC after a heart procedure in 2022. Her constant love, loyalty, and devotion have kept me functioning and giving me the courage to keep going. I'm about to be 70 years old next week and still working part-time to supplement my Social Security because I have to support myself and keep Molly healthy and happy. I'm a proud person and never wanted to ask for help but Molly needs and deserves support and for her I will.

Hi, my name is Maria. My beautiful baby's name is Bella. She’s in the hospital right now in the ICU with kidney failure. Bella came to me because my 11-year-old son said, "Mom, you need someone to love you unconditionally to help you get through cancer." My Bella became my heart and soul and lay next to me for years during cancer treatments. She’s in the hospital right now in the ICU with kidney failure. They say the treatment is going to be very expensive with a couple of days in the ICU and then continued care? The doctor said if we can get her through the rough patch for the next three days, we have a chance. Unfortunately, to stay alive, she will need constant care, which they said will be very expensive and require a specialist. She’s one of the kindest, most loyal, loving protective love bug you will ever meet. She sat in bed with me during Radiation and never left my side. For a year, she just laid there in bed next me, never complaining to go out just snuggled up next me to comfort me. She is my heart and the most loving dog in the Due to the cancer, I'm not able to work and I'm on disability. I need financial help to keep my baby stay alive. She is my heart and I can't imagine losing her because of money. Please help

Hi there this is our family dog and protector Odie! Hes a Catahoula lepord Mix and we got him when he was about 3mo old and he is now 8! He does great w/my kids, 2 cats and his pack leader Sadie! He is my emotional support dog he paws at me to go outside which makes me have to get out of the house otherwise I might be stuck inside as I have Anxiety disorder and he keeps me healthy! Odie puked up a furry toy that was in tact but since then he has been puking,loss of appetite,and was pooping, but now he is no longer pooping and his vo it tonight was so much that my son and I took him to Emergency,but was told we must have all $$ up-front. Odie NEEDS an xray to see if there is a blockage if so i have a vet, Dr.Clark lined up who said he can probably do the surgery on payments Odie is very special to my kids and to my mental health as he keeps me healthy and gets me out of the house! Odie Loves car rides,absolutely loves whip cream,has 2 cat friends and his pack leader Sadie that he knows us boss lol Odie is very protective of our family,but once you're correctly introduced you will be part of his pack! He means so much to us and this would break my family's heart. Im in desperate need of help.I've never had anything like this happen to us. We are a "Fixed" income family as i get SSI and TANF! LuLu, her sister, and momma are still trying to start recovering from hurricane Helene. We just got back home and momma is struggling to get the house back to "normal" and head above water. LuLu came to me when she fit in both of my hands and has been with me every single day since. She is my saving grace, accountability, heart, and soul. LuLu somehow swallowd a sewing needle and it's traveled to her liver. The hospital is wanting more then I can afford. I lost my income because of the storm and until I get my home back up and running I'm scraping pennies and living on prayers. Some of us are still trying to recover and barely getting help with that.. LuLu has more sass and attitude then any furbaby I've met. She loves to love and she loves attention. She struts in the room and it's all eyes on her. LuLu loved her sister Baby. Above all she is her momma's saving grace. Its amazing what 1 small animal can do to a person's life. She helped change me to the me I am today and I pray I don't lose her.. As I stated above I'm struggling like most Western Carolina folks after the storm. I met my baby girl on April 4, 2020. The moment she was born. She was number 4 in a litter of 7. She was a birthday present from my mother to me. When she was 4 months old that she was hit by a car on a busy road and she came running to me all tattered up and she had a broken muzzle, snout and jaw. We had her fixed right away and she still suffers from the repercussion of the wreck. She's such a happy beautiful joyful little girl that is brought nothing but happiness to my face and my life every second of every day. She's terrified of thunder but she's such a big girl it's so funny it's so cute. Now she's got that cyst on her started in her armpit and now I just traveled down half of her leg and she's got developed a bunch of little lesions around her body. The owner of the parent dogs where my dog came from was very energetic and obnoxious and this caused poor kaya do you have a life of anxiety and stress from the way that she was handled as a pup when I got her it became part of me to protect her and never let anybody hurt her or even raise a hand to her again. She is the biggest baby and the sweetest sweetheart I've ever met. I am in turmoil with my finances over my recent job loss with the United States postal service. I'm still owed thousands of dollars from my pay that I probably won't see but I have to help my baby somehow I just can't afford anything at the moment.

I came here from Tennessee in 2013 4 mths later my husband got killed.so for along time i was alone until one day i met this little tiny puppy i fell in love with her wecwas both homeless at the time so i told her that i would give her a better life with that i named her Holy Grace she has saved me in so many ways.for the past 8 years weve had an apartment in total i have 5 dogs im on ssdi. Holy has bad teeth due to her breed now shes pawing at her face and breath smells bad.when she eats she cries. Shes been seeing a doctor at animal kindness veterinarian hospital but due to lack of funds i was getting assistance from align care but since September of last year they have put us on hold leaving the total vet bill on me. Im on low income and disabled and its not been easy. Holy is my service animal,best friend my love,my baby shes great with everyone not so much with fireworks or motorcycles she gets shy alot with little kids but she loves them she loves to run and play and eat i have epilepsy so shes been my helper for the last 9ys or so all my doctors love her.everyone really shes great Im disabled and live on low income so for me to get help for her and my other babies would a blessing i cant even think anout losinh them due to lack of help and money lord knows im trying to keep them healthy they her make me whole

Willow is a mixed-breed dog I adopted at eight weeks old during the COVID-19 quarantine. She’s been raised in a loving home with me (a single mom), my two children, our family cat, and our late bloodhound, Harper. Willow lives indoors, is house-trained, and well-socialized. She recently injured her foot and is currently limping. We’re doing our best tomorrow keep her comfortable. I took her to Ravenwood Veterinary Clinic, where she received a full exam and X-rays. The vet confirmed that she has a soft tissue injury and possible ligament damage. Thankfully, there were no fractures, but the injury is painful and will require careful rest, follow-up care, and possibly further treatment depending on her recovery progress. They have recommended TPLO surgery. Willow means the world to our family. She’s more than a pet—she’s a constant presence of comfort and love, especially during the hard times. She completes us, protects us and her favorite thing in the world is snuggles and playing with her toys As a single mom supporting two children, I do everything I can to make sure our basic needs are met. Like many families, we’ve been hit hard by rising costs, and unexpected expenses—especially veterinary care—are difficult to manage.
