Norman came to us a little over a year ago after escaping from a puppy mill where he was kenneled most of his life, he was skinny, dirty and didn’t know how to be a dog or that a dog could have a good life. Within a couple of weeks Norman found his personality and it became clear that he is the perfect fit for our family and is best friends with our 5 year old daughter. Last night we believe Norman got a foxtail in his nose, he has been sneezing so hard that he has nearly knocked himself out hitting his head on the floor. We took him to Well Pet to be checked, the staff informed us that they will have to sedate him to look inside of his nose and remove the foxtail due to the small size and sensitivity of his nasal area. Norman is very attached to every member of our family, he is especially attached to my daughter, pouts while she’s at school and can’t wait to run and jump in the car when it’s time to pick her up. He loves to ‘attack’ the mop, chews on dad like a corn cob, wants to be friends with every human and animal he sees and is the most loving house hippo that ever was. As most of us, we are struggling to make ends meet and do not have an emergency fund. Any assistance that can help us with this unexpected, life threatening situation goes a long way. This little guy is like our child and he means the world to my daughter.

I found Gizmo 10yrs ago at a website. It was love at first sight. Gizmo is a velcro dog. He is always by my side and follows me every I go. When I go to work he misses me very much so we adopted a sister for him named Stacy. Gizmo has a lot of trauma. He was severely abused as a puppy causing his medical condition on his ear. The abuser went to prison for his actions. Gizmo has had hematomas on his ear due to abuse. His ears are now cauliflower ears. This has caused a lot of ear infections and his right ear needs surgery because the ear does not properly drain anymore. He needs an ear canal ablation. His surgery would be done at VanLue Veterinary surgical in Oviedo Florida Gizmo loves his adopted sister Stacy. He loves people and is very loyal. Everyone we meet he shows love. He has a favorite stuffed toy he takes everywhere. Gizmo enjoys car rides, walks and mud. He won't play in water but when there is mud its game on!! He dances on his back paws and wiggles his front paws to get attention and belly scratches. Eating a pup cup at Twistee Treat is his favorite. I work a fulltime low income job and it is keeping my dogs and I afloat. The surgery for Gizmo is financially not attainable. My dogs are my everything and seeing him suffer again after the abuse he went through as a pup it breaks my heart. He is in pain each day.

I got max 7 years ago as a birthday gift, he was 3 months old. He has been a huge part of our family since. He is best friends with our lab as well. Max has always been healthy and active. About a week ago max started to throw up. We brought Max in to Lakeland vet in Baxter MN where he had X-rays done and gave anti nausea meds. The vet told us he has an obstruction. We can not see in the x ray exactly what it is. She told us our options of surgery, natural home support or the possibility of putting him down. Max also has a heart murmur, which max things a little more difficult. Max is not a typical Chihuahua. He loves people and he especially loves his people. He is the first to tell you when there is someone at the door or a squirrel or animal in the yard. He's 7lbs with the mentality of a 75lb dog. He hates thunderstorms or anyone who is loud. But loves nothing more but to be babied on the couch with a good movie. I'm a single mom of 5 kiddos. I work 2 jobs. I don't have the finances saved for this kind of emergency. There's no words to express how greatful our family would be to have help saving our family members. He has been a huge life support.

Bentley blessed our family 12 years ago when he joined us at just 6 weeks old. He has been the light of our lives ever since. From friends and family to complete strangers, everyone knows and loves him and his smiling face! He is a wonderful big brother to his adopted sister Indie, and has taught her everything she knows, from how to sit to how to ride in the car dog style. Last week I noticed Bentley wasn’t quite acting like his happy self. He was moving much more slowly than normal. And when he wouldn’t eat, even his favorite treat, I knew something was wrong. A trip to his vet, the VCA East Hartford confirm he has a tumor on his spleen. Although splenic tumors are common in dogs his age, it is imminent that surgery must be performed to remove the tumor ASAP. Bentley is one-of-a-kind! No matter what kind of day you’ve had, one look at Bentley will put a smile on your face. He’s sweet, loyal, caring and compassionate. He’s a big time mama’s boy and doesn’t let me out of his sight. I’ve been told by many that he should be an ambassador for the pit bull breed. His friendly, sweet demeanor, wagging tail, and smiley face says it all! Unfortunately this surgery means life or death for Bentley. However, I am in no financial position to be able to afford it by myself. Bentley is so special to us, he is like my second son! Just seeing him looking so sad, without that twinkle in his eyes is killing me.

I got Hank 9 years ago because my therapist recommended I get a therapy dog due to my anxiety and depression. He’s a pure bred German shepherd I got from a breeder in North GA! He’s been my best friend ever since and we live in a house in Smyrna GA. He’s got a big back yard to play in and just loves like so much. He has literally changed my life in the best of ways and I have so much love for him! I got home to Hank acting very sickly and slow. His stomach was hard and bloated. I knew something was really wrong. So I took him to emergency vet care at Arista Advanced Pet Care in Atlanta GA. They diagnosed him and said his stomach had flipped and his spleen was on the verge of rupturing. He had to get emergency surgery to save his life. It was $13k:( Hank is a giant teddy bear and loves everyone. He loooves kids and just wants to lick everyone to death. Fetch is by far his favorite activity! If you have a ball to throw, you are his best friend! He’s been there for me in my low times again and again. He’s the best of the best I had to loan $13k just to get him the surgery and I’m now completely broke. I don’t have a way to pay it back. It was basically all I could do to save his life. He will also need so much special care with meds and follow up treatment that I just can’t afford

My dog Mitsey has gotten a foxtale stuck in her throat that has caused an abscest that's a very serious infection. If it burst and goes into her blood stream it could kill her. That's a fact. I'm devastated. I feel like a bad owner and it's my fault. I can't afford the emergency vet bill. I can't begin to tell you what she means to me. She is the most sweetest,loving animal I've ever had. I'm on disability and all my finances have been spent on living expenses I can't begin to tell you what she means to me I'm bipolar and that's the last thing I need, even with the medication things like that are not good for me mentally. I have a hard time dealing with death. I'm on disability for that reason. I know this is a shot in the dark but I'm about to find out how much love She very kind love going outside and play in the backyard. She behave very well with my other three dogs. everyone get along and when it’s time to go to bed, she would make that growling sound telling me to go bed It will mean the word to me cause I do not wanna give her up it’s just that my income is not enough to help do everything. I do not want to lose her. She’s a baby to me. Having her recover, it mean the world losing her will make my three dog depressed and need her to be home. I had to go somewhere else and I have to A title loan for my car to get the money to help my dog with her surgery because the Abscess is getting worse to the point is cover her throat and when the doctor check under her mouth, it was some bleeding. They are taking care of her right now.

hi i rescued cookie from a bad home 3 years ago and at the same time she was rescuing me. she has been my rock my best friend and my daughter. she became a service dog after we met. 2 years ago i got colon cancer and had half my colon removed and she help me so much mentally and helped me become stronger at the worst time in my life and now its time to be there for her hi my name is Michelle and this is my baby girl Cookie.. Cookie had a stroke on 6/17/2025 and took some of her ability to walk on her own yesterday I spent everything I had to take her to the vet for emergency care to save her life. all the documents are in the post to show what testing was done, her diagnosis and her treatment recovery plan. last night was the hardest night for cookie and myself cookie is so happy and full of life. she loves everyone and is so smart. we talk all the time and she has complete understanding of everything i say. i wish i could love life as much as she does. she has a brother cat named anubis and she loves chasing him around the house playing with him. we need her with us she holds the family together. i caught colon cancer two years and currently lost everything due to im on bed rest till further notice doctors orders and im fighting disability for two years. i have documentation for everything stated in these paragraphs
