Cyrus joined our family two years ago when we instantly fell in love with his puppy picture from a well-known breeder. Since then, he has brought immense joy into our lives. Cyrus' right humerus bone shattered when playing ball and is hospitalized. He is currently at the Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota waiting for surgery. Cyrus' gentle nature shines through in his special bond with our pet bunny, as they often lounge together in harmony. Cyrus also is great at comforting people when they are stressed or sad, he does this by sitting on your lap or using his nose to nudge for cuddles. A spirited pup at heart, Cyrus loves playing fetch, going on hikes, and enjoying car rides. This sudden major expense has depleted our emergency funds and with a fixed income, we find ourselves in a challenging situation. For some reason, during our vacation, we were drawn to the village shelter in OKC. We fell in love with the very timid puppy that lived on the streets. Two days after adoption, he has severe infestation of hook worms and developed parvo. We have been treating him at home and spent 1000$ so far but not getting much better. Vet thought We should hospitalize but we were out of money. Please help! Joey developed parvo and a severv case of worms I guess that wasn't treated strong at the shelter. We didn't realize He was so sick until day three that we had him. He has been to our vet here twice and you spent around $1,000 to try to get him well. The vet recommended that we hospitalize him but they said it would be 13 to 1800 dollars that we don't have. Hed oesnt keep food down and on IV. Joey is the sweetest puppy I've met, he's so scared and timid and just needs love! He doesn't even know how to be a dog and we are having to tach him but he isn't well enough to do much and has gotten so skinny. We just want to give this little guy a chance! I know my heart that if we hadn't taken him they probably would have had him put down. We have spent all the extra money we have on Joey so far and have run out of money to further treat him! I don't want him to die! They want him to be hospitalized but we do not have any more funds to put towards his critical care, with no knowledge prior that he was sick.

Birdie has been my joy, my home, and the best part of my world since 2017. I adopted her from a shelter in LA. The simple version of our story is: being able to care for her at the point in my life I no longer believed I could care for myself gave me hope, allowed me to seek help and recovery, and lead the life I have today. Today, I do my best to help others heal from their trauma as a therapist. Birdie has been diagnosed with cancer in her bones (skull, specifically) and the cartilage of her mouth. The location and nature of the cancer eliminate surgery to remove and stopping the cancer’s growth. Radiation is the treatment option available for Birdie’s condition per the assessments of the incredible and attentive folks at True Care for Pets & Modern Animal. Birdie is a cherished member of my family. She is the most gentle creature and brings a sense of peace, ease, and safety to all (& her BFF is a saucy lil cat). I can’t count the amount of times I’ve heard, “there is something so special about this dog,” from friends and strangers alike. Birdie has taught me the contentment in calm, the value of doing less, and how little it takes to be blissful. The unpredictability of life, like Birdie’s recent diagnoses, have made it so I am unable to pay for her treatments myself. My dog has walked me through some of the toughest times of my life. She’s a beautiful soul with a heart of gold. She loves playing ball and hanging out with her best friend which is a husky she keeps me going. She won’t let me get out of the truck by myselfand she just takes care of me no matter what we had to leave a dangerous marriage and she was the one who gave me the courage to keep on going. My dog was playing in the backyard and got got caught on a nail and now her whole leg is exposed. The vet at pets and friends animal Hospital is willing to do the surgery. I just have to come up with $1200. For him to repair her leg since I didn’t have that kind of money, he did give me some antibiotics and sent me home in hopes that I can come up with it my dog is my protector, my best friend and she’s just a inspiration. She loves to play and smile, my son takes them for walks at least three times a day and all the neighbors in our neighborhood smile and wave and say hi Artie I work. I also have lupus and I’ve also raised three kids on my own so I don’t have a good credit but my job only pays enough for the rent and the bills there’s no way that I could come up with $1000 with us, it was tax time. Please help me she’s my reason of staying alive.

India biological parents belong to my sister and my niece. She was first placed with a friend of my niece, but found that India was alone to much due to, friend, being in college. So one day, I got a call asking if I wanted her? At this point, India and I have never met. My response was, “let us met and we’ll go from there”. Who was kidding, lol, I’m already heading to town to get what she needs!! This morning, India had to have emergency surgery at Brown’s Veterinary Hospital. She’s been diagnosed with pyometra, a life threatning illness. The cost is a lot more than expected. With everything I have available, I’m short. India is not shy by any means. She has not one mean bone in her body, and love people to death. Safe to say that she is a fein for attention lol. Everyone just loves her! India is my rock. She has helped me out so many times, due to my mental illness. She’s not a scary girl, but she sure knows how to scare away my demons!

Hi, I will start by sharing the story of how my mom acquired Pearl. My 33 year old unmarried son passed away unexpectedly almost 6 years ago and owned 2 precious dogs, who were his babies. Since I already had a home filled with pets, my widowed mom took both of them in. Pearl went to the vet last week for surgery on her aural hematoma and while she was there I had the vet check her back leg because she had been limping. He took x-rays and called to tell me that unfortunately she needed surgery because of her torn ACL. (TPLO Surgery ) He said that he couldn't perform the surgery and that she would be referred to a orthopedic specialty surgeon. Cost $3500 plus Pearl is my moms constant companion and never leaves her side. They (Pearl & Bruce) are all that she talks about, and I tease her by saying that I think that she loves them more than her grandchildren. She just smiles and says...well. They provide my mom with the comfort and love that she needs to remain living alone. My mom is a senior that lives on her limited income from Social Security and barely makes ends meet. I help all that I can but I am also limited. Having Pearl healthy again means everything to us but especially to my mom. Pearl and Bruce are her reason for living.

I got my baby boy Cody at a buy, sell, trade fair. He was so cute with his spots! He was the only boy in the litter they had. He looked so adorable with his big ears and spotted snout. I’m looking for assistance because my poor baby was shot 13 times with a BB gun and needed an emergency procedure because of an abscess from one of the BBs. We are still investigating who might have done this. Cody is sweet ole Beagle. He loves to snuggle and play with our younger Lab. He’s full of life and loves people. My kids enjoy his spunkiness. He has his own personality. I’m a single mother of two kids and we’ve struggling already with an expensive car repair. I do not have family that is able to assist. We just want our Cody taken care of and home.

Yogi came into our lives 7 years ago from a rescue. We transported up to our home from Tennessee. His original name was Bear but we decided on Yogi Berra. Yogi has just stuck. He fit in perfectly with his big brother Rolf. He’s a fun loving dog that gets along with all animals. We noticed Yogi wasn’t himself. He was kind of wabbling as he walked. We went into the vet and they did X-rays, and bloodwork. They put him on antibiotics for tick borne diseases. His walking then deteriorated more. They recommended we see neurologist. Saw the neuro & turns out it’s not neurological but he blew out both his knees. He needs bilateral TPL surgery. Surgery is 6/20@ VCA South Paws Yogi is one of the best dogs. He loves all other animals. He’s social and wants to just be around his people. He loves going for car rides & seeing his 3 best doggy friends LG, Oreo & Ellie. After losing Rolf unexpectedly a year and a half ago we can’t bare to lose him. We know if we can get this surgery done he’ll have lots of years & life left in him. This surgery was completely unexpected. He’s never had issues with his legs before but being a jumper he finally just over did it. The surgery not including what we’ve already paid is going to be around $9000. It would mean the world to us to have him healthy and back home.

Osca from a rescue shelterabout seven years ago,since then we ve been inseparable,he is always with me. Oscar is like a son to us,my wife and me,I try my best to keep his shots and necessary things up but it got to where I can not do it and my little buddy is suffering,his paws are sore because his nails are way too long and it hurts him to walk but he limps around as best as he can, Oscar is a member of my family,I'm a lot older now and there's no one in the house but my wife,Oscar and me,we do everything together. Oscar is afraid of thunder and lightning and every time it thunders he jumps in my lap shaking but I pets him and pretty soon he relaxes and gets ok. Oscar is something else.Our house would not be a home with out him,I don't know what I'd do with him Everybody loves Oscar all of our neighbors and friends are crazy about Oscar. Believe me if you tap on our apartment door you are gonna hear Oscar right away,for such a tiny puppy he makes a lot of noise barking,Oscar is the tiniest watchdog I have ever seen before but he sure let's you know that this is his property,his home so watch out. I love him with my whole hear I have several health issues and I can't work anymore and it is taking everything I have to keep a roof over our heads,I really struggle to provide the bare necessities that we need to get buy.Food,medicine,things that are needed to get by.
