Ace

Ace is a 4 month old American Pit Bull Terrier in Wichita , KS, who needs $1,200 for Parvo.

Wichita, KS

My uncle blessed me with Ace for support before I left home.. I recently just moved to Wichita few hours away from my home town… Ace is the only support/family I have here with me I can’t lose my best friend …. I had to understand Its okay to ask for help. I called all the local vets and they recommended me to reach out… please anything helps i just want make sure my buddy will be okay … He’s been fine until now I recently just lost my job trying find a new job on top of keeping a roof over our head this is very difficult for me hate seeing him like this I spoke to Kutter Pet Care Center, Andover. This is most reasonable I could find please if anybody knows a better route let me know just want Ace in good hands! He’s definitely the most unique one of a kind dog I ever came across Ace has a special soul/personality he definitely doesn’t mind to let you know too lol he’s very vocal an acts like a mule at times but he’s a big teddy bear. Ace came into my life when I needed him the most. Fit my lifestyle perfect he’s everything I could ask for a more I couldn’t have asked for a better addition to the family. I could go on an on all day but no matter what I say Words couldn’t even begin to express how appreciative/grateful Ace and I will be. He deserves a chance…I’ll be his voice the least I can do for my friend…he’s more than a pet, Ace is family …

Trooper

Trooper is a 4 month old Golden Retriever in Canastota, NY, who needs $2,000 for Cleft Palate Repair.

Canastota, NY

We had a litter of puppies and Trooper was the last to be born. He was already a bit smaller than the rest of the puppies and it wasn't until the next day when we weighed him we realized there was an issue. He had lost a substantial amount of weight. He could not suckle and that's when we found out he had a cleft palate and decided to try to save him. We had to tube feed him every 2 hours. I had a friend tell us we could save him and that his cleft should heal on it own. We did save him but the cleft keeps growing bigger. Cornell university is the only hospital that will provide this surgery and I must've called 100 vets in NY state. He is currently able to eat kibble but it's only a matter of time before he aspirated on food or water. We can't even allow him to swim due to the risk Trooper has cheated death several times which is why we named him Trooper. He's always been the runt and pushed over by siblings during feeding and play times. Now that his siblings are rehomed, he gets mom and dad all to himself. I think from being tube fed for many weeks has caused him to want to taste everything he can get his paws on. He is spunky and so lovable all the time. I am a brand new nurse and have a credit card and student loan debt from the last 2 years. I tried to keep the house afloat while going to school and working as much as I could. Now I'm in a better place but trying to get my financial situation squared away....

Roxie

Roxie is a 8 year old American Staffordshire Terrier in Portland, OR, who needs $2,000 for Surgery to Remove Cancer Margins.

Portland, OR

About a month after having to put down our beloved Harlem kitty, and weeks before the COVID shutdown, I started browsing a rescue site for dogs at high-kill shelters. We knew we wanted a pittie. And while we wanted to save them all, there was one cute face that stood out! We drove to a farm to meet her. Little did we know at that time that she was rescuing us, just as much as we rescued her <3 April of 2024, an aspirate from a mass on Roxie's side (see photos) was checked and came back inconclusive. A year later, the mass had grown and started bleeding. We had the mass removed, and came back that she had a very rare form of skin cancer that can spread aggressively. Lots of imaging, additional surgery, and possible chemo will be needed, and it will be a lifelong journey. Roxie has a heart of gold. When we took her on one of her first walks, she'd whimper as we walked by houses where she could hear kids playing. We later learned that she LOVES: kids and grown-ups alike, dogs, and more than anything- ALL THE WALKS. She will cover you in stinky kisses, and possibly leave some "I don't know my size" bruising, because she's all heart. A pittie plop outside is a must. We are on a single income due to multiple factors, including Katie's layoff in tech, and multiple family emergencies that required our care. We would never ask for help if it weren't necessary. We are beyond humbled and so grateful for any help! We LOVE you all so much!!

Photo of Esko

Esko

Esko is a 7 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Tacoma, WA, who needs $2,000 for Amputation.

Tacoma, WA

Esko lives in a home with three other animals two cats & another bully Tank. Esko is 7 years old & is healthy. Esko belongs to my twin brother his owner, Esko was the first of all of SeVons animals and the beginning of his journey on connecting with animals. Esko lives a comfortable life often playing fetch around the yard, or laying in the sun. His favorite spot is on the couch next to SeVon. Esko suffered a devastating injury after being hit by a car—his femur was broken, and his front leg was split open from elbow to paw, and he has damage to his lungs causing blood to pool, leaving him with severe trauma. After thorough evaluation, the only viable option for Esko’s survival and long-term well-being is amputation. Esko is a true empath at heart. He knows just what you need when you need it. In our family we call him bubby, he often makes a sweet pouty face one that’s hard to resist. He also loves to show affection through cuddling and kissing. If you cry Esko is the first one to be under your arm giving you a hug and won’t leave your side till he knows you’re alright. Our biggest concern right now is amputation without the amputation the only other option is to put Esko down. We couldn’t get care credit or a payment plan so we’re looking for any help possible to cover cost! We’re hoping as a community we can pull together little by little

Belle

Belle is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Summerville, SC, who needs $2,000 for Ongoing Conservative Treatment and Pain Management.

Summerville, SC

Belle came into our lives nine years ago. She was my saving grace due to my own health issues at that time. I had to undergo five hip surgeries in two years-sit with a broken hip for a month. More details, but the emphasis is her. She nursed me back to health in both a physical way and emotional way as well; giving me the will to keep on going. She is a saving grace to both my husband and myself. Medical emergency. Disc injury. Paws in front can't bring in position-see pics.MRI and/or surgery with PT following would cover the expenses to fix the disc and cure her. She was playing and jumping, bubbly yesterday, late last night had ataxia, today not walking at all but still has feeling in legs;frightened tries to get up and can't-mentally okay. Cane Bay Vet Summerville SC Dr.Zimmerman She is a rock for my soul. She was my support dog through many of my own medical issues. She's goofy, loves to go on rides and enjoys what we call "Belle Belle Day"- where we take her to get a pup cup, go to the beach, local farmer's market-something fun just for her. She loves to play with red ball or crinkle ball. If I'm upset she gets extra playful-determined to lighten the spirit-total joy!!! Catastrophic medical expenses-struggling to support self to make ends meet. She brings the sunshine to the rain and gives me the reason to just keep going. She brought me out of a dark time with all my surgeries and gave me the will to keep going. She is my everything daily!
