Maisel

Maisel is a 7 month old Mix-Breed in Canoga Park, CA, who needs $1,500 for Cryoepilation (Eyelid Hair Removal Surgery).

Canoga Park, CA

Maisel came into my life when I went to meet two kittens being fostered in an overcrowded apartment. She was just 2 months old, with a severe eye infection, and had been abandoned in a box with her tiny mother and other kittens who didn’t survive. I couldn’t leave them behind or separate them, so I brought them both home. She now lives safely indoors with me, her mom, and my cat Bixby. Maisel was born with a condition where her eyelids never fully formed, causing constant pain as hair rubs against her eyes. Over time, this has led to damage and vision loss. A veterinary ophthalmologist at Animal Vision Care & Surgical Center has recommended urgent surgery to stop the damage, relieve her pain, and help preserve her remaining vision. Maisel is a spunky, fearless little girl full of personality. She has a hilarious little “mrrp” like she’s talking, and does a tiny circle dance at feeding time that makes everyone smile. She’s affectionate and bonded with me, her mom, and Bixby. Even with vision challenges, she’s full of life—I just want her to live comfortably and without pain. I am a full-time student about to begin an unpaid clinical internship, with limited and inconsistent income. I am committed to covering as much of Maisel’s surgery as I can, but I need help reaching the full cost so she can receive this urgent, vision-saving procedure.

Draco

Draco is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Ocean Shores , WA, who needs $3,200 for Leg Amputation.

Ocean Shores, WA

Draco came into my life 7 years ago. I have been searching for a long time and through my friend I found him and he was my Christmas present but healed my heart. 2 years ago we purchased a property in Ocean shores, Wa to give him a safe place to be free and happy. Is joined by his brother Loki when we have had for only 2 years now. He loves his brother. Draco was hit and drug by a car last week. Resulted in him having his mandible halfway removed and reattached. Also suffered a bad dislocation of L wrist including tearing of all ligaments, joint, tendons. Companion Animal hospital temporarily splinted it in hopes it might take, but as I was informed earlier today upon return bandage removal, I was informed his leg will need immediate amputation. Draco is everything to me, I would do anything for him. 7 years ago I was fortunate app to come across him via my best friend and he was my Christmas present to heal my heart. It's hard to explain he and I are connected. He is so loving and affectionate. If you even mention the word Tuna he will be right there waiting patiently. He's not much into toys, but he loves playing with his brother Loki. As I found out today upon my return visit to have his injured leg checked to see if by the grace of God it could be saved after being severely dislocated and completely torn. I was informed it cannot and he is going to need complete amputation as soon as possible.

Charlie

Please help this sweet boy get the fast kill treatment for heart worms.

Washington, NC • Have A Heart Rescue

Charlie is only two years old—a young Plott Hound mix with so much life still ahead of him, but has unfortunately, tested heartworm positive. Heartworm is a serious and potentially fatal condition if left untreated. It slowly damages the heart and lungs, making even simple things—like running, playing, or just breathing comfortably—more and more difficult. And for a young dog like Charlie, it’s heartbreaking to know his life could be cut short without help. The good news is that there \\\_is\\\_ a solution and Have a Heart Rescue acted quickly. Their vet recommended the fast-kill heartworm treatment, which will give Charlie the best chance at a full recovery and a long, healthy life. The cost for this life-saving treatment is $630. Charlie deserves the chance to run freely, to play without pain, and to grow into the happy, healthy dog he was meant to be. But we cannot do this without support. We are asking for donations to help cover Charlie’s treatment and give him the future he deserves. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings him one step closer to being heartworm-free and ready for the loving home waiting for him. Thank you for helping Charlie get his second chance. 4/5/26 Update Charlie is doing okay. He is coughing when he gets excited. He is just a young pup and deserves so much in life. He went from stray to shelter to almost a home until that fell through too. Now he is fighting these heart worms. And he can’t do it on his own. It takes a village to help every fur baby 5/27/26 Update: Charlie playing Look at this sweet boy! He deserves all the love in this world. He’s big and goofy as you can tell. He is doing good with a treatment that we are trying per vet for heartworms 6/7/26 Update: Look at him go Look How good he is doing

Luna

Luna is a 9 month old German Shepherd Dog in Lititz, PA, who needs $5,000 for Ultrasound, Vomit Inducing, Surgery.

Lititz, PA

I am a 100% disabled veteran of the Iraq War. I have had a German Shepard since I was stationed in Germany for 4 years. My parents took her while I was in Iraq. When I came back stateside she became my service dog. I have been blessed to be able to get a new one each time they aged out or passed away. I got Luna 6 months ago and have been working with her since she came home with me. 6 weeks ago Luna chewed and swallowed so of her blanket in her kennel. It formed a blockage and she need surgery. Care credit gave me $4,900 and her surgery cost $5,000. I am on a fixed income and am struggling to make those payments. This afternoon while I was asleep she got her collar off and chewed it up and swallowed it. We are at the vet now and I don’t know what they are going to have to do Luna is still a little skittish around people she doesn’t know but we are working very hard on that. She is a sweet puppy that is 100% attached to me. She never gives me any trouble and constantly thinks she needs to eat. 😂 I thought I had her safe now. Nothing is left open or laying around and there are no blankets to be found. I just fell asleep! As a disabled veteran I live on a fixed income. After paying all my bills there isn’t a lot left. I am paying care credit off and have no other means of getting credit. I don’t know what to do! I can’t just let her die! What do I do?
