Alan Lugo

Alan Lugo is a 14 year old American Eskimo Dog in Bronx, NY, who needs $2,000 for CT, Biopsy, Radiation Treatment.

Alan came into my life in 2010. From the moment I saw him at the pet shop which I worked at the time, I knew he was my soul dog right in that moment. Alan was in quarantine bc of a upper respiratory issue for the next couple of days. I left and came back to Alan being sold while still sick but then days later Alan had been returned and we reunited forever. Alan had a stroke in 2024.In February 2025 I noticed his left eye started to enlarge and I thought it was odd. He stop eating. He started to rapidly lose weight and we were able to stabilize through meds. Now Alan is having trouble breathing due to the left eye eye issue and possible tumor. We need a CT scan, rhinoscopy and biopsy and radiation at the Animal specialty center, Yonkers NY. Alan is special because he is not only my service dog but also our family. He loves elderly grandparents. He is funny and charming. Brave and strong. I am currently on disability and have tried to do everything I can financially for him but now needs further diagnostics and treatments that we can not afford. It would mean the world to help comfort Alan and try to better his breathing.

Buddy

Buddy is a 11 year old Mix-Breed in Buckley, WA, who needs $1,500 for Dental Cleaning and Extractions.

Buddy is a rescue. I saw his face after I had lost the dog my mother had given me before she passed, I knew he needed me as much as I needed him! I called, they said he already had an application in. Those people adopted him but his face was back on the website two weeks later. I knew my Lulu needed him as much as I did so I called them immediately. They bonded immediately and we're inseparable. When I rescued him he did not have the best of dental issues but Lulu had issues with bladder stones so I had to put his teeth off. Lulu's expenses were huge! I tried to get help and raise funds, but I wasn't able to cover her expenses without a credit card. I do not regret it. Lake Tapps Vet Hospital was so good w/ Lulu going over the rainbow bridge. Now it is time to get Buddy's teeth fixed there Buddy & Lulu always climbed up me to my face to wake me up in the morning to tell me it was time to eat! Buddy is doing that by himself now but it is still so cute! He loves kisses. he loves going bye-bye in the car and long walks. He knows when I'm sad, he knows when I'm excited, I don't know who needs who more but I couldn't stand it if I lost him because I neglected his teeth due to finances. I'm retired, on social security. I live by myself. I've taken a part-time job to try to cover unexpected expenses which keep coming up. We recently lost his best friend which was very sad and very costly. He doesn't need the tooth pain on top of it. I can see his sadness.

Arby

Arby is a 8 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Maiden, NC, who needs $1,200 for Fatty Tumor Removal.

We have had Arby for almost 7 years now. We rescued him from a family that no longer wanted him and they were going to take him to a shelter. He quickly became the missing piece to our family. He has 3 human sisters who he loves very much and always looks out for. We call him Bubby as a nickname. He helps me tuck his sisters in the bed every night, giving them all kisses before he leaves. About a year and a half ago we noticed a small lump on Arby's abdomen. I took him into the vet and she did a biopsy. It came back as just a fatty tumor. It stayed the same size for a while but all of a sudden it started growing and she had advised me to have it removed if it started to grow. It is now about 12cm × 3cm. The name of the vet is Little Mountain Veterinary Clinic. Arby is special to every one in our family. His 3 human sisters love on him all the time and he is a very big part of our family. It truly would not be the same if we did not have him. He sleeps beside me every night. He has an obsession with blankets (just like I do 😁) and he will go get his blanket when he is ready for bed. He truly is a one of a kind boy. I am a 100% disabled veteran and after bills each month I do not have a lot of money left. I have been planning to have his surgery done but it is difficult to come up with the $1200-$1500 that he needs for the surgery. I want to give him the best life possible.

Brady

Brady was originally my in laws dog. Once we moved out to state from Florida to Virginia we decided to bring Brady along with us and give him a change of scenery. He loves the outdoors and loves the cold weather. Brady has been a healthy dog since I’ve got him. Never had any issues up until the past Few days he hasn't been his normal self. Starting with frequent urination then went to lethargic & not able to pass urine. I knew something was wrong and rushed him to the ER to find out he has multiple stones in his bladder that had to be surgically removed. My world has turned upside down. Brady is always the happiest dog I’ve ever met. Anywhere he goes he lights up the room and people fall in love with him right away! Brady is not a dog! He’s my family! This expense for this this expensive / needed surgery has caught us by surprise. We are expecting a kid within the next few weeks and this situation will set us back!

I purchased Chloe when she was just a month old from a couple in Tampa off of Craigslist. 11 years ago. She is completely blind. And completely dependent on myself. She had two eye surgeries and she currently has breast cancer that she needs to have removed. And it's time for her yearly exam which I cannot afford. She is blind with no eyes. And is battling cancer. She is very loving. Very loved by everyone in my family. She doesn't like baths,or going to vet. But she is my best friend and a really Emotional support animal even though she is not certified. She is like my child. I am unemployed. Homeless. And have no income. My mother was helping me out but she is no longer able to help me out anymore. The reason for me asking please help me.

My sister in law bought Bow for Kelsey. Bow is normally a laid back, energetic, family dog. She loves to cuddle and have her belly rubbbed. She is super friendly and faithful. Bow stopped eating. We started with a general vet and are now at the internal medicine specialist. I applied and was approved for $1500 but that is now gone. Not sure how to finance the rest in short order. Donations or a short term loan would be appreciated. I can post the cost once it is known. Bows favorite friend is my daughter, Kelsey, as seen in the photos. She follows me wherever I go and is faithful without end. She loves to cuddle and be held. My wife and I separated creating significant financial struggle. I applied for and was approved a $1500 account with care credit. That amount is gone and I am not eligible for more.

Winston

Winston is a 9 year old Miniature Schnauzer in West Salem, OH, who needs $2,000 for Cholecystectomy.

I have had Winston since since he was a puppy. He's always been the bestest boy. He currently has 8 doggy brothers and sisters, many of them coming to us from shelters or as pets that's their owner could no longer care for. He also has 3 kitty siblings, also all rescues. Winston is currently at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Akron, OH. He was transfered there on referral from our primary vet after learning he had a mucocele gallbladder obstruction. He had emergency surgery on Monday to remove the gallbladder and is currently recovering. Winston is a great dog and loved by everyone he meets. He is a typical Schnauzer that barks when he gets excited, is very loyal, and is the biggest mommy's boy. He loves his brothers and sisters, but recently lost his best buddy Trudy the Yorkie to Cushings Disease. This was an unexpected cost to our family. He have been trying to recover from the vet bills of one of our other dogs, Trudy, that had to surgery to repair an ACL, and was battling with Cushings and chronic pancreatist.

When I was 21 years old I was so lost in the world. I saw this puppy posted on FB Marketplace twice by two different people,I told my bf at the time that I would get that puppy if he was posted one more time. Of course he was and I went to get him that very same day. Kylo has been my soul dog for almost 9 years now. That BF is now my husband and we have 2 beautiful girls that Kylo helps protect. Kylo was diagnosed with Addisons disease recently. We have taken him to a series of ER Vet and regular vet appointments for this diagnosis so our funds are extremely low right now but he is still having crises as we adjust him to new meds. He was doing so much better but is not doing well again. Kylo is the best boy. Anyone and everyone who meets him absolutely loves him. I can’t tell you how many people have wanted to take him home with them. He is the best companion who can sense whenever anyone is sad and needs some extra cuddles or kisses. He absolutely loves all his siblings and takes great care of our new baby girl we brought home recently. He’s an energetic love bug. I am still on maternity leave and do not have my usual funds coming in. Additionally we have spent thousands on getting kylo care already that we cannot afford to do anymore without forgetting our home and bills.

Lexi

Lexi is a 4 year old Old English Bulldog in Pompano beach , FL, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.

Lexi is our 4 year old English bulldog. She’s super compassionate and loves her belly rubs. She’s overall a healthy dog up until April 21st, she’s become extremely lethargic and won’t move off of her bed. Lexi needs an Xray and surgery. As of now all we know until we get the Xray is Lexi either ingested something that is stuck in her intestines or GI track, they’ve also said she has symptoms for pyometra which is when in un-spaded female dog’s uterus fills up with puss. Both require a surgery that will need to be done as soon as possible both can cause her body to completely shut down if not fixed. Lexi is an amazing dog. She’s lovable, friendly and amazing with our 3 year old daughter they are the best of friends. I’ve had Lexi since she was just a couple months old. We currently have no emergency funds unfortunately for situations like this. I spent $380 on medicine and IV fluid to keep her out of pain until I got an appointment for an Xray at a non profit organization called paws to help in West palm beach. She is extremely lethargic.
