Sparta is a paralyzed 1-year-old Belgian Malinois born with a spinal deformity. His home has extra padded flooring, a cushioned playpen, and soft bedding with pillows and comfort items to prevent pressure sores and keep him safe. His custom wheelchair is currently being built. Sparta had a double hind leg amputation on 3/28/25 at Coyne Veterinary Center. Due to poor infection management, he now faces another emergency surgery. He’s on new antibiotics and may need IV treatment. If the infection worsens, euthanasia could be the only option Sparta is stubborn, loud, and full of personality. Despite paralysis, he’s playful, especially when chasing the cats. He vocalizes when things aren’t just right and keeps the home full of life. He’s deeply bonded, affectionate, and always finds ways to show joy and resilience I’ve spent over $7,000 on Sparta’s care, but this second emergency surgery is more than I can afford alone. I’m doing everything I can, but I’m out of resources. Getting him healthy means saving his life—and giving him the chance to finally live pain-free

Hercules is my whole heart and came in my life by way of seeking a cool break from the scorching summer temperature of NYC. It was him found me that day and I believe God sent me one of his angels. He has seen me at my best and worst and through it all has loved me unconditionally. He loved me even on the tough days I hated myself. He is my calm. He is my baby boy. On 04/09/25, I can home from work and he ran up to me with his leg pulled up and hanging limp. He doesn’t let it touch the ground and has been having leg tremors every 3-5 seconds. He has never been in this condition and I fear it might be from deeply rooted trauma of his bone or connective tissue. I feel defeated. My boy loves the world, especially the people in it. He is eager to get extra butt scratches by anyone with hands. Hercules is my number one cuddle bug and the warmest cuddle bug during chilly days. It’s like he exudes a level of warmth and joy that makes people love him instantly. To say the least, he has unofficial aunts and uncles everywhere. Life has lifed in a way that has impacted my emotionally and financially. I switched careers and started new and my income is low. I got a 14 day housing notice I’m battling and have been staying afloat by the grace of God himself. I need help and prayers.

We rescued our pup during COVID 2020. He lives with myself and my two sons. He has completed our family. He loves to be lazy, to spend time with his mama, and lay in the sun or by the fire in the winter months. Gordon was running in the yard after a snow storm and immediately tore his ACL as I heard him let out a squeal. He was finally able to get a visit to the surgeon this week after a couple months. He will be having his surgery with we are animal hospital. My pup loves his grammie and Papa the mostest. He is great with kids and has never been aggressive. He loves dogs and I sometimes think I should get him a cat to cuddle with. So I did lose my job about 3 weeks before this happened so we have fallen on some hard times. Anything that anyone can do to help ease the pressure of this financial burden would be very much appreciated.

Moose is currently residing with my parents. When I deployed a couple of years ago and returned during the pandemic I quickly realized moose had become attached to his grandparents I could separate him from that and all the love he recieved from the Bocanegra’s as a whole. He was more than just my dog he was our family dog. Moose has been in the family for 10 years we won’t stop fighting for him. Recently, we received devastating news when Moose was diagnosed with a 10 cm primary lung tumor.. The tumor was officially diagnosed by the oncologist, Dr. Jeff Weinstein, at VCA Capital Area Veterinary Specialists in Austin, TX, on April 3, 2025. While it’s a relief to learn that the cancer has not spread, we know that time is ticking, and immediate surgery is needed to give moose a chance Moose is very stoic, but the smartest dog I know. He definitely knows how to get a treat out of his honey and papa those are his grandparents and he also knows how to cuddle just right on the couch and remind us he’s also a human that belongs on the couch covered with a blanket. Unfortunately with the compiling vet bills since October trying to treat moose and no emergency fund I’m finding my self going paycheck to paycheck trying to find out how to get this surgery paid.

Hi. Bean is our baby. Her nick name is beanie baby. She's the sweetest and smartest little girl.youll ever meet. She has truly made our lives better. She loves her balls and anything plastic. Especially bottles. Bean is very sick. Even though she was vaccinated and never leaves our home she has gotten parvo virus. The Dr's think it was maybe tracked into our home on our shoes. She is currently in the hospital at Kirkpatrick Veterinary Hospital There she is on IVs for fluids and meds. She has not eaten since in about 5 days. She is improving slowly. This little girl has our hearts with her. She is missed so much by her little sister Mouse. Bean is so special to us. I can't not imagine our lives without her. She loves to play with her balls and any other toy her baby sister gets ahold of. She is funny and smart and very independent. I am on disability with a limited income. and am worried about paying her veterinary bill. I could never put a price tag on my little girl. And all I want is to have her back in my arms. Well he got sick two days later throwing one of the cobs an has since then not been doing well an the surgery amounts for the intestines obstruction is more than I can afford I have never been a dog lover until I meet him he's the only dog that has really grown on me an i care for he's really great with my kids an protective even towards me if I pop my son he's just a big loveable fur ball an is really brilliant. He listens great an funny to watch when he plays with my boys. He can get his ear pulled an ranover with my dumptrucks and all an stays collective an calm I tried to apply for the credit payment plans but was denied from were i almost lost my leg last year an couldn't afford to pay my bills due to a wreck. Lucy is a fun loving 3 year old mini goldendoodle that I was so lucky to find as a rescue about a week after putting down my childhood dog from cancer. Lucy's favorite place is the the dog park where she can see her best apartment friends and play ball! Recently, Lucy has been adapting to sharing her home with a cat we found on our daily walks that also needed a home. I returned home from vacation to my worst nightmare; Lucy was diagnosed with lymphoma at 3 years old. Although she was acting her normal self, playing ball at the park, I noticed she lost a lot of weight while I was gone. I took her to the emergency vet because I had had hunch that something was wrong. She was misdiagnosed with Blastomycosis to find out it was lymphoma. Meet Lucy, the ball-obsessed, high-energy pup who never runs out of fun! Her beloved ball is never far from her side, she insists on placing it in the food bowl and tucking it into bed. She has learned how to open doors to sneak a treat whenever mom isn't looking. Her secret talent is walking on her back legs, especially when she spots a friend! Life with her is full of fun and endless joy! This diagnosis at such a young age was a complete shock that I am still trying to process. The whole situation started out with a hefty ICU bill on top the ongoing chemotherapy treatments. I am doing my best to give Lucy the best chance I can, but I am on a solo fixed income

Milo is a 2.5-year-old Pitbull/Shepherd mix I rescued as a puppy from the streets of Mexico. He survived parvo and has been by my side ever since. We now live in a shared home where rooms are rented to different people. Despite limited space and income, I make sure Milo is safe, loved, and cared for every day. He’s playful, gentle, and very sweet. Milo has tummy issues and frequent ear infections that I manage at home. His biggest issue is his teeth—he has heavy tartar buildup, likely worsened by surviving parvo as a puppy. We go to az humane society, which is very affordable. I always ask about discounts and do my best to stay on top of his care. Milo is a shy but incredibly sweet boy. He gets so happy he pees when he greets people he loves. Since living on the streets in Mexico, he’s learned to eat in secret, and now he even tries to share his food with me. He’s gentle, loyal, and has the kindest heart. He just wants love and safety — and he gives both in return. Money is tight as I’m a full-time student with limited income, but I always make sure Milo is cared for first. I took responsibility for him, and I stand by that. Getting him healthy again would mean everything. He’s my best friend, and seeing him in pain breaks my heart. I
