After my mom passed away from cancer, we took in her dog. The dog previously lived with my mom and is now living with us full time. The dog lives indoors in our home and is well cared for with regular meals, fresh water, and daily attention. The dog has a safe and stable living environment and is part of our household. we found out she was pregnant. Two weeks later, she became very sick and needed emergency surgery. During the procedure, the veterinarian discovered she had sepsis caused by the loss of the puppies. She received a C-section and emergency medical care. She was my mom’s dog and means everything to me and my family. she has been with our family for 6 years now and is very loved and is a wonderful dog. This was completely unexpected, we are on a limited income and unfortunately cannot afford the costs of veterinary care at this time. We are doing our best to provide for them in other ways, but medical expenses are beyond our current means

Iris is our 8-month-old puppy and a beloved part of our family. She is so full of life and very entertaining. She dug out of our backyard and was shot by a neighbor for being on their driveway. We are desperate for her to get the help that she needs so she can try to have the best quality of life we can give her. On 2/2/26, Iris sustained a gunshot wound to her left front leg after escaping our fenced yard in a residential neighborhood. She was evaluated at our local vet where she was diagnosed with open fractures of the ulna and radius with exposed bone fragments. She requires urgent orthopedic surgery to try and save her leg or have an amputation. Iris is special because of her joyful, loving spirit. She is affectionate, playful, and deeply bonded to our family. She loves following us from room to room, greeting everyone with excitement, and curling up close when she’s tired. Iris brings constant energy, comfort, and happiness into our home. She isn't just a dog, she is family and we are doing everything we can to keep her a part of it. This injury came without warning, and the cost of surgery is overwhelming for our family. Any support helps give Iris a chance to heal and live without pain. Having her healthy again would mean seeing her run, play, and enjoy the life she deserves.

Steve-O was adopted when he was about 7 months old after a family needed to rehome him and was giving him away. We took him in so he wouldn’t end up in an uncertain situation, and he has been part of our family ever since. He currently lives with me and my boyfriend as an indoor pet in a stable, loving home. He is well cared for, has a regular routine, and is a very loved part of our family Steve-O was recently diagnosed with an aggressive grade 2 mast cell. He underwent surgery to remove to mass, unfortunately, surgery was not enough and chemotherapy was recommended. Steve-O is truly special and has the funniest personality. He loves to mess with you by bringing a toy over, then the second you grab it, he runs away because he wants to be chased. He’s playful, goofy, and keeps us laughing every day. His favorite toys are small stuffed animals and he has the best friend named Cody who he loves being around. Steve-O’s diagnosis came unexpectedly. I am in nursing school with limited income. We are doing everything and the cost of this chemo is overwhelming.

Roxy is rescue pup from an organization in Virginia where I live. I adopted her at 2 years old when I divorced and moved into my own apartment. It was a huge adjustment for me. She helped me every step of the way. She is gentle to our two rescue cats. I have always had spaniel but decided to look at a rescue when adopting. She is the sweetest, most cuddly, affectionate, vocal dog I've ever had!! Roxy has been sick for a month now. She has diarrhea and vomiting. I've consulted with a virtual vet. Followed their instructions. Rice and boiled chicken. Added probiotics. She starts to get better and then her stomach gets bad again. I need to take her to physically visit a vet. I have a chronic illness resulting in me being on disability. i feel she needs tests done that will be expensive. She is the most cuddly, sweetest dog I have ever known! I had spaniels before and I absolutely loved them. But Roxy is so different from their breed. She's very vocal. She's very well behaved (except around other dogs), but she's been such a joy to me! We have two cats and they're always headbutting her and it's just the sweetest thing to see. I hope one day to have a small backyard for her!! As I mentioned before, I have a chronic illness and neurological disease. I receive disability, and my funds are very limited. I know Roxy is going to need test done because of how long she has been sick. She has gotten better but then she doesn't stay well long enough.
