My dog’s name is Covid. We got him as a puppy right when the pandemic happened and our state was on lockdown which is why we named him Covid. I got him from a breeder I searched online. I mostly got him for my son who has level three autism as a companion for us since it gets lonely for us at times also I really missed having a dog, my childhood dog passed at age 16 when my son was a newborn. We live in Wittmann Arizona and my dog got bit by a wild animal, I’m assuming a coyote and tore up his tail. I took him to Animal Medical Center of Surprise and they quoted me $2,087 to get his tail amputated to avoid infection, it’s really tore up so they did not suggest just stitching it up. Unfortunately I cannot afford that. My dog loves people, he does so well with my son who’s on the spectrum. He loves to be by our side all the time. One of his favorite things to do is play fetch and go on car rides, park, and road trips. I had to leave my job because my son was needing a lot of help. He was diagnosed with epilepsy in October 2023 and was kicked out of ABA therapy due to his seizures. Right now we’re relying on SSI for income.

It was a total miracle someone stopped behind lucky liquor and ask me if I wanted a pit bull puppy i told the guy that I wanted to see what she looked like and as soon as I seen her I know. She was perfect he proceeded to tell me he was a gang member and someone tried to spot him in a drive by and she got hit with the ricochi she has a scar on her nose. She truly saved my life No vet will see her cause I don't have any money me and her have been living in our car for about a month now and I know she has got a UTI from her symptoms and I'm stressed I don't know what to do If some one was to come to our apartment she acts like they are here to see her she truly believes that she's human and she knows no stranger so friendly I am a survivor of domestic violence she was so confused didn't know what to do cause she knew and loved my ex she's just as stressed as I am about losing our apartment and I have no family that can help I've tried to get jobs but she has separation anxiety

I’ve had my Brody boy for the past seven years (his seventh birthday is officially in February). I was able to take him out of a very toxic environment and he has been such a different dog since then. I have one other dog of my own and she’s been the best sister to my boy. I’m grateful to have had this many years with him and will pray that I get to have many more! He truly is the sweetest. Brody has had some medical problems stemming back to when he was a puppy. Thankfully everything has been within my range to provide the care and financial means to continue to keep him fed well and the healthiest he can be. While playing, he had stepped down wrong when he landed from a jump and I knew something was off. An orthopedic specialist visit later to find out he’s got an ACL tear. Truly this dog has been the light of my life. He came into my life when I needed a companion the most and he’s never stopped. He makes everyday better and just wants to show his constant love and affection toward everyone he meets. I had just wiped out my emergency fund/savings to fix a medical situation with myself about two months ago. I’ve been working two jobs for the past six years and am doing everything I can to make ends meet and pay off debt. I’m doing everything I can to provide.

Luca has been in my life since he was 9 weeks old. I adopted him because I recently lost my 14 year old dog and wanted another companion. He is the best boy! I couldn’t imagine life without him Luca has severe allergies and while the vet gave allergy shot and supplied spray for his skin as needed, he requires a specialist and upon looking it’s anywhere from $400-$500 for skin graphs which is out of reach for me. The allergy shot is needed every 8 weeks and costs $165.00. He also has a lot of joint issues and the cost for food, supplements is adding up as well. He is only 3! He is the best! Despite his allergies and joints, he loves to play, snuggle and follow me around everywhere. He is a true companion. He is also very smart! Nothing gets past him:) Major expenses with limited income. I work two jobs however my hours are limited because of business levels and I barely get 40 hours a week. I also don’t have a car and taking Luca to appointments would require ride share there and back.

Murphy rescued me. He will be 10 on May 17th. My mom found him for me. I couldn’t say no to this tiny little dog that cuddled to my neck as soon as I held him. He was making these little sounds of comfort and fear while clinging to me. Ever since he is like velcro by my side. It is just me and my two little dogs. Murphy has a non biological sister Mindy who is 13 years old. She looks after him. Murphy's breath started to get really bad the last couple of days. He was scratching at his cheek. The vet told me his tooth is abscessed and needs a dental. She warned me that his little jaw may break during this procedure since it is down to the bone and he is so tiny only 6 lbs. She stated more teeth need out. Murphy is so special. He stays by my side as soon as I get home from work every day. When we go to bed he scratches at the blanket for me to lift up and he cuddles to my neck underneath. Sometimes I take him to work with me so he can visit the residents. He stays so calm with them like he understands they need him. He just sits on their lap or lays on their bed. He is a very special little dog. It is just me and my two little dogs. I always take care of them as they need. I work full time but I just can't afford a bill this size with my house payment other bills. They are my world. They have gotten me through so much. I help my elderly parents financially too.

Nino is my Covid baby, he came into my life right after my son went off to college and the beginning of Covid. Nino is a toy Yorky poodle and he is one of my three furry babies. Nino was born with extra baby teeth. I was told he would need to have them extracted at that time. The cost was expensive for me and I could not afford it at that time. Time passes by fast and the cost for the teeth extraction has increased. I have went to several clinics and the cost is the same about $1200-1300 at the latest Petco store. Nino has joint issues and needs X-ray and possible surgery Nino is loved by everyone, he is a toy, Yorky poodle who loves to play and be petted. Nino loves the closest people to me and is very protective of me his caregiver. People have always asked to purchase him or jokes about stealing him because of his Adorableness. Financial assistance is needed due to a fixed income and having three furry babies to Support. The cost of Nino‘s teeth extractions alone can range between 1200 to 1500 and the joint x-ray about 300 and just to find out I’d surgery might be needed.

Blaze was born on the anniversary of my boyfriend and I, and it felt meant to be. We already have 2 other dogs, one a pittbull from the same parents as him, and an 11 year old chiweenie. We live in a townhome in Arizona, that is the cheesiest place we can afford. Iy has a nice backyard for the dogs to run in and no pet deposit required. He has fluid sac in his heart as well as his abdomen, and making it hard for him to breathe. We have him home now, despite vets reccomendations, due to the cost of overnight care and treatment. They want to drain the fluid under sedation, and the sac in his heart is risky. We don't have the $3000 on hand, want him to get better, & figure out why this happened, before we go the route we dont want. Blaze & his brother Smoke bonded instantly and they are inseparable. Blaze is very emotionally intuitive & loves to make sure mom and dad are ok with all the cuddles & nudges. He is very food motivated & aims to please. He & his brother play all day, especially with the rope we have hanging on our tree. He enjoys walks, but is so eager he likes to pull, despite how mom works to not let him. I was laid off last spring unexpectedly & have been trying to catch up on my own finances. My boyfriend is in the same boat as well. To have Blaze healthy again would mean the world to us. They make us want to live for them and have the best life possible.

At first I was upset because it had been since I was a child that I had a dog but I soon found out what an asset and best friend he would become to me. God sure knows what you need and when he is now my everything I couldn't imagine a day without my furry BFF that I love so muc He is in desperate need of his first round of vaccines,rabbie, and heartworm mens. I have an option of getting him up to date or going homeless. We are currently at a motel,awaiting housing and if I don't do this by 01/23/2025 I will be evicted. He has an appointment at northbay animal hosp. Please help him/ us I couldn't imagine a day without my support from him. We love 1 another so v Ziggy is so mindful and aware of my needs as I am him. He is a happy playful dog the best friend I never had and I couldn't image having to choose,nor would I. I live and need him he has grounded me and given me purpose. He us wonderful with kids and others & sure knows how to make me feel better. If I don't get this we will be homeless. I guess everybody needs a little help sometimes & ours I have no emergency funds at this time we are struggling. We are in between residence and it's a requirement of the motel we are staying at. Rocky was adopted from a shelter in 2020 by a loving family of 4. Rocky is a perpetual puppy with tons of energy. He loves affection and gives just as much back! He lived with us at our family home before I took him to Chicago with me while my father recovers from kidney failure. However, through this rehab process, I have brought Rocky back home to dedicate as much time to him as possible. On 1/7, our beloved Rocky woke up unable to move his back legs. In a state of panic and heartbreak, we rushed him to the MedVet ER, where we received devastating news: Rocky had Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), which, if left untreated, may lead to complete paralysis. The damage to his nerves was progressing rapidly and we were left with no choice but surgery. Rocky loves everyone he meets. He is highly energetic and affectionate. In the house, he makes sure to provide love to each person equally. He loves playing with his toys and going on long walks. He has an unconditional love for his family and friends. The surgery cost nearly $12,000 and has left our family with a significant financial burden. While the cost was high, we could not bear losing him at such a young age. My father has kidney failure and Rocky brings support to us all during such a stressful and costly time.
