My best friend came into my life at a time when I was at my lowest. He has a big doghouse and a backyard to play in, but he always likes to lay down in my bed and watch a movie with me. I spend most of my days with him. My friends ACL is torn from the hip and he needs surgery on his back right leg. he used to be so active and after I took him to a local veterinarian and they gave him a shot and put him on meds because I was not able to afford his surgery. He just lays down in bed all day and he has lost about 25 pounds. He’s not only my dog, but he is my best friend as well. We play together we spend most of our days together. He likes to chase squirrels and he’s the friendliest dog and best friend a man can ask for. I just really need the help-because I’m in a very tight situation at the moment, I haven’t worked for two months and my dog’s been like this for about a month and a half. It is killing me to see him, lay down all day like this when he was so full of life.

Lovey came into my life about 2 weeks after I had to put my previous American bully down for cancer that had spread to her brain. My family and I went to the humane society and saw lovey who was named Franny. We ended up naming her Lovey because of how affectionate she is. She is so loving and cuddly. We have a Yorkie at home who is her best friend. His name is Rocko and they play & sleep together Lovey has a mass on her toe that started out as the size of a pimple and I thought it was just a ingrown hair. But one-day it blew up in size and now is the size of a Penny. I took her to wellhaven at millplain where they took a cytology of the mass and found Lovey has a Mast Cell cancerous tumor. She will be having surgery to remove her toe at Pacific NW pet ER and Specialty center. Lovey has been trained as a therapy dog. She provides support to my nephew who is on the autism spectrum. Lovey can't go anywhere in the community without people wanting to pay her and love on her due to her personality. She is a very happy dog who loves to bring joy to others. She helps me when I am not feeling well, she will lay in bed with me until I feel better. I help my sister support her 2 children and this is an unexpected expense. It would mean the world to me and my family to have support to treat my dogs curable cancer before it spreads and becomes incurable and we have to put her down. Ethan Lucas (EL) came from an acquaintance whom decided to breed their dogs. He was the biggest one of all of them. He loves to eat since a puppy and would let the litter know when food was available. I gave him that name because his my son, not just a dog. His been in my life since he was 2 months old, I have 2 girls (dogs). Live with family & other 3 dogs. When EL had 9 months old he chewed a kitchen mat and swallowed a piece as big as a quarter or a bit bigger. I did research online and found that hydrogen peroxide induces vomit, but he never threw up the piece of mat, I’ve taken him to 5 different vets, done basic testing, come normal. However every week or two he has upset stomach with blood in stool & in bile when vomit. EL is a very good looking dog, he loves to eat, when he doesn’t have an upset stomach. He plays with his full blooded sister and the both have a blast together. Plays with his football & soccer ball. Loves car rides and going to the park. He started in 2024 with fears to sounds and certain things, like vacuum. He is super loyal to his sister. EL enjoys bothering the 5 girls (dogs) that live w/ him I been disabled for over a decade. I been try to survive on my SSDI and credit cards, I took care of my 3 dogs with credit cards, but I can not do so anymore, I have a debt of 11,000.00, plus family whom I also owe. We bought Jasper at a pet swap otherwise they’d put him down not having a chance to live life he’s been with me for all 6 months of his life so far. His name was chosen after days of arguing with each other we found one we both agreed too which meant “ glory of God, purity, and beauty” Jasper was hit by a car Tuesday January 15 2025 we took him to a clinic but they can only do so much they said he should see a hospital with a true doggy doctor to get his leg looked at as he can’t walked due to it and to get his lungs looked at as he’s not breathing properly he needs an xray for sure and that paw taken care of He’s great very energetic a little too much after an 10 hour shift but he makes coming home so much better he’s still learning and young has so much to grow up to be every night he sleeps on my gaming chair and will not stop licking me til I’m touching him he’s jus every man’s best friend energetic until he’s with you and then he’s relaxed Me and my fiance r getting married we put the money we had from that towards the clinic not knowing what the next steps were I was fired Monday and then Tuesday happened so it’s been a rough week now we’re trying to find help for our baby

Patrick came into our lives 6.5 years ago, he was a rescue dog, he was only 2 when we rescued him, since the first day we rescued him, he has been a special apart of our family. When we first adopted Patrick our family was going through alot of hardships, but we all found comfort in Patricks company. Sep 2024, we noticed a small sore on Patricks upper lip, keeping a close eye on it, we noticed it grew over time instead of healing on its own. We went to take him to the vet to get it looked at it, the vet said to change his diet and put him on prednisolone. He has been on his new diet, and medication for a month now, with little improvement, it is recommended that we get bloodwork done. Patrick, is one of a kind friend. His favorite type of day is when i'm off from work and we can spend quality time together with a movie, blankets, and cuddles. Patrick recently became a older brother to a hyper, puppy that always wants to play and be involved in every second of Patricks life, although out can be annoying to him, he still loves the k9 company. Patrick is heaven sent. As mentioned, the bloodwork that the vet ordered is $300, which might not sound like a lot, but as a home renter in SoCal, rent is outrageous and having to decide for bloodwork for your dog or paying rent, you can imagine, which bill will comes first. Zoey was adopted at Mckamey animal shelter in Chattanooga Tn when she was only 6 weeks old. Zoey currently lives with her owner Bri Smith. Zoey is a very happy energetic dog when she is feeling well and loves people, other animals and going for long walks in the park. Although Zoey is very people and animal orient she is also very shy and timid at times when it comes to strangers but is a sweetie. Zoey has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and requires extensive treatment of insulin to control her glucose levels. Zoey’s medication is very high priced along with her regular vet visits. Zoey is currently under the care of doctor Hamilton at Shallowford Animal Hospital in Chattanooga Tn who is a very concerned and understanding veterinary. She is educating me on Zoey’s condition it more. Zoey is special to me because she is a very loving and loyal dog. She makes me happy everyday just by seeing her here. When Zoey feels good she is a very happy, energetic, smart dog and loves spending time with me. My financial situation is that I do t make a lot of money and my rent has went up sky high making it hard for me to afford Zoey care. It would me the world to me to have Zoey back on a healthy path so she can have a good quality of life and show her sweet spirit again.

King George, as my son named him, has been with us for 4 years. My son's female dog, Luna, would bring George to our house daily. We tried playing with him, but he would jerk away & urinate on himself. We believe that he was being abused at home. He would leave us but always returned-one day he never left. Sadly, Luna passed away about 6 months later. We say that Luna brought him to us to love him Last week, on 1/10, while getting ready for work, I heard George barking, 2 gunshots, and then him crying in pain. I ran to the backdoor to look for him. I found him next door hiding. He ran into the house bleeding and collapsed. As I was calling the police, I laid next to him asking him not to leave me. The shot went through his body and hit his lung, which filled with blood. Angel Vet Odessa TX George is such a beautiful boy. He is loved by us. He craves attention and makes sure that we give it to him. He loves belly rubs and hugs. He has a big bark, but he is like a child; He was scared of our two cats at first, but he watches over them. I'm constantly telling him that I love him, and that I am his Grandma. He's always protected us. It's my turn now to protect him and help him heal! Currently we are experiencing a difficult time financially. Even though there is no money, I just couldn't let him die. I had to take him to the hospital. If I had not been there, he surely would have died all alone. He's scared, has trouble breathing-he's suffering.

Most of you know that Jakey is my absolute pride and joy. He means the world to me. Some of you all know the story behind me getting a Doberman and why I can’t stand the thought of losing him with only 5 great years. Apparently he has eaten or ingested something that was toxic to him. The vet is working with us to be able to save him but financials are a bit of an issue right now, as with most people. Jake is the most incredible dog I have ever encountered. He loves all species, two or four legged. He’s the most loving and kind creature. If you have gotten the pleasure of meeting him, I can almost guarantee that you love him. David has recently lost his job that he had in Roanoke. He has had more interviews, but this incident with Jake was unexpected. I cannot lose my dog and Jarod can’t lose his best friend. Seeing Jake sick like this has taken a toll on all of us.

She is the sweetest girl and gets along so great with my two special needs children and she loves cuddling with chickens which I think is the coolest thing ever Willow was attacked by a dog and got her jaw broke has puncture wounds and come to find out there's a foreign body in her belly which they think is a rock she had surgery last night and they put three screws into her jaw and they are reevaluating if she needs another surgery I found Willow on the anniversary of when my daughter was born sleeping she was born stillborn and I had been grieving for a year and this little pup walks into my life and needed a home and I fell in love with her she is the cutest thing in the world and then I let her out to go potty and she got attacked. Willow absolutely loves everyone and everything she comes into contact with Me and my husband just separated and I we have two children that he doesn't help care for financially or any other way and I lost my daughter Lily last year and it's just been a big struggle for me I finally left my husband after he put me in the ICU.
