Marilyn

Marilyn is a 10 Year Old Mix-Breed in Bedford, TX, Who Needs $2,000 for Crystals in Kidneys.

Bedford

Marilyn was adopted with her sister off Craigslist — two little souls that just needed someone to say yes. And saying yes to her has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the moment she came home, Marilyn fit right into our family. She brought love, loyalty, and so much personality with her. She has been gentle, comforting, and endlessly devoted — the kind of dog who just knows whe Help Us Save Our Girl 🤍🐾 This is one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to ask for, but we’re reaching out because our sweet girl needs help. Recently, our dog began peeing blood. After an emergency vet visit, we learned she has crystals in her kidneys, a painful and dangerous condition that can worsen quickly if not treated. Due to her age (10 years old) and an underlying blood disorder, he Marilyn is the most playful, loving, cuddly girl you could ever meet. She loves to be close — whether that means curling up next to you, leaning in for cuddles, or falling asleep and snoring like she pays rent here. She has a playful spirit and still loves to play, even at 10 years old. Toys, attention, being silly — Marilyn is always in if it means being part of the fun. Unfortunately, the next step in Marilyn’s care would require us to take her to a veterinary internist. The level of testing and treatment she needs is highly specialized, and the cost is significant.

Licious

Licious is a 9 Year Old Siamese in Anaheim, CA, Who Needs $1,000 for Bloodwork, Meds, and Possible Follow Up Care.

Anaheim, CA

I was given Licious when I was 18 and moving into my first apartment. She was 3 years old at the time but had been to 4 homes already. She had an issue with peeing on beds. She ended up having bad anxiety and just needed fluoxetine. She has been with me since then, she has been my only source of stability and my closest friend since day 1. Licious’s appetite had been decreasing lately, I tried different foods/ making her food differently and it didn’t work. She started to sneeze, i took her to the vet and got an appetite stimulant and antibiotics. I got her to eat about 0.5oz of food, and now she’s refusing to eat again. It’s been 5 days of her refusing to eat, turning her head away and everything i do doesn’t work. Licious is such a sweet and special cat. she loves to play fetch with her little toy mice, as soon as she sees me grab a blanket she runs over to lay on my chest/stomach to be held, she’s done that for years. She only selects special people to get close to and i am so lucky to be her favorite. She meows at me when it’s time for bed or to wake up. She is the sweetest and prettiest girl. I experienced health issues and a bad car accident that has resulted in collects on my credit, I lost my job due to the accident and recently found a new one but I still can’t afford food most days. Licious has been the most important part of my life for years and i need her

Photo of Beau

Beau

Beau is a 3 Year Old American Shorthair in Naugatuck, CT, Who Needs $1,500 for Indwelling U-Cath.

Naugatuck, CT

For background, I found my cat Beau under a shed with his three siblings at 4 weeks old and fostered the whole litter. I ended up keeping two of them, Beau and his brother Bentley. Beau is named Beau because he has a white patch with an orange dot that looks like a bow tie. Then, Beau broke his leg on Christmas of 2022, and since then has been a happy, lovey tripod. In July of this year, he FLUT-ed, despite being on a prescription urinary diet, having multiple large litter boxes (4 total), and access to more than 4 water bowls and two water fountains. In August, he blocked. Since then, he has now blocked a total of four times. I've been giving him round the clock medications and supplements, such as Dasuquin Sprinkle Caps, Omega3 Snip Tips, Gabapentin, etc. I am beyond scared I'm going to lose him, he's only 3 and a half. I was sleeping on my living room floor, and his med schedule was 11am, 7pm, and 3am. After the surgery, he was on antibiotics and pain medications for two weeks every 8-12 hours. We still had to recover for a total of almost 5 weeks. I slept on the floor next to him, he is my absolute best friend and my favorite door greeter. Between losing a leg, and now this surgery, I am beyond overwhelmed. I feel like I'm failing him. I couldn't afford his care, the money was fronted to me and I am in debt trying to pay it back. Carecredit is maxed out. I'm at a loss. Any bit would help immensely.
