Dolph

Dolph is a 2 year old French Bulldog in Hickory, , who needs $1,000 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

Hickory

I got Dolph in Arizona when he was 3 months old. I went to a local well known breeder. Dolph was the very last one in the litter, a bit smaller than his siblings were. He was the runt of the litter but the very first time i saw him he was running around & trying to play with a great dane. Thats how i knew i wanted him. We've been through a lot together, i survived an abusive relationship with him. His stomach can not handle any kind of dog food, & ended up getting a prolapsed anus due to diarrhea. That was sewed up & ive been feeding him fresh cooked food since. Took him to the vet not long ago for skin issues. Has not been his self, hasnt played for awhile, & has lost weight even with food increase. Past two days he has puked a few times, became lethargic and doesn't want to move or eat. Dolph loves everyone, his family, especially my six month old daughter. He is extremely gentle with my daughter and baby sister even when playing. He even loves all animals, even if they dont love him. He tries to play with all dogs and even cats. He does not bark at other dogs or animals, and is very well behaved. He loves squeaky toys, bones, and cuddling. I just had my daughter 6 months ago, my significant other is out of work & im a stay at home mom. Ive been able to afford preventative things for him & vitamins, hes been to the vet twice this year already & now our car needs a lot of repairs. I hate seeing my baby in pain!

Waylon

Waylon is a 7 month old French Bulldog in Shorter, AL, who needs $2,000 for BOAS Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Surgery.

Shorter, AL

Waylon came into our lives when he was a couple of months old. We weren’t for sure if we would be able to get him. We got him after a tough loss of our English Bulldog of 13 years. It was hard losing her and I wasn’t for sure I wanted another bulldog. Waylon has been a blessing though. He is the sweetest boy and LOVES little kids! He is quite the character and I’m positive my Gracie Mae sent him! On New Year’s Eve Waylon started breathing really funny using his abdomen to breath in and out. He had thrown up a couple of times but I didn’t think anything of it as when he normally has the zoomies if he runs to much he will cough and sometimes stuff will come up. I took him to the vet because his breathing was really labored. They explained BOAS to me which is what he has:( Waylon LOVES when people visit and he always has to run and get one of his many stuffed babies and show them off. He loves his daddy and “whispering” to him at night when it’s bed time. He always wants his daddy’s hand on him at night too and will bark until he touches him. He only loves snuggles in the morning. He loves his Gigi, PawPaw, BB, and Alissa. He loves outside and chasing the chickens. This is an unexpected urgent medical need for Waylon and I know everyone is in financial strain right now. I’m working two jobs to try and help but he will need the surgery before I can get it all saved up. I hate asking for help but I don’t want to lose him! He is family!

Leon

Leon is a 7 year old Labrador Retriever in Wesley Chapel, FL, who needs $2,000 for Condylectomy.

Wesley Chapel, FL

Leon has been with me for five years. He is my first service dog and has become my best friend. When I first met him he had a really calm demeanor and managed to stroll over to me and place his head in my lap. This has been his favorite thing to do when he wants my attention and I am always happy to give my attention to him. His intelligent nature and relaxed attitude has captured my heart. Leon has been diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the TMJ. Due to jaw bone deterioration, he has been in significant pain and is no longer able to chew properly. The only way to bring him relief is to have bilateral jaw surgery. This will tremendously improve his quality of life. We have found an amazing animal hospital called MedVet Akron and a brilliant surgeon Dr. Jason Callard to help with this. Leon brightens the day of every person he meets! He loves food and enjoys playing with his chew toys. Cuddling and receiving belly rubs are also his favorites. He has been working with me for several years and does his job brilliantly. I would describe Leon as playful, curious, and loveable. He still continues to be the sunshine in my day. Having to choose between Leon’s medical care and basic necessities has been difficult. Recently, I have had to postpone Leon’s surgery because basic necessities were a more immediate concern. I am hoping that with your help I can focus on getting Leon better and pain free.
