Kira is a 16 month old American Pit Bull Terrier in Durango, CO, who needs $1,700 for Laceration Repair.

Kira was brought from Mexico to Colorado when she was 2weeks old. Kira. Kira has spent her year and 4 months living with 2 other dogs and a cat that she loves equally. Currently, we are in between housing right now, staying at family friends or hotel rooms staying out of the cold for Kira’s healing. Kira is very playful and loves anybody she encounters. Kira was in a Hit and Run Vehicle Accident that was filed with police and nothing has been done. She will need her snout slightly reconstructed, her mouth stitched, and important healing around her paws. Kira will need surgery and medicine to help her fully recover. River View Animal Hospital has been taking care of Kira after we took her in for emergency care. Kira is the youngest of her siblings she has lived with a 5yo lab/pitt mix and an almost 2yo chihuahua. She is very playful and loves playing with kids. Kira is also very protective and is always on alert. She has been the biggest baby out of all of our pets and is babied by her siblings as well. We feel so bad that our baby is in so much pain and not the outgoing happy puppy she usually is. Right now my boyfriend and I are currently in search for stable housing while job searching and taking care of our dogs. We keep our dogs warm and fed but did not expect an accident to happen this severe, that we need help. We still hope whoever did this, comes forward.

Charlie

Charlie is a 8 year old Golden Retriever in Charlotte, NC, who needs $1,500 for Lumpectomy - Mass Removal.

Charlie unexpectedly came into my life six years ago when a friend/colleague forced me to go to the local humane society to meet Charlie. At the time, I did not believe I had the time/ability to be responsible for a dog. However, Charlie and I immediately had an unbreakable bond. A week Charlie went up for adoption and I sat outside in 5 degree weather for 8 hours to ensure I could be his dog dad! Charlie recently developed a mass on his back hind leg that the vet believes could be cancerous. On January 16, 2025 Charlie is scheduled to have this mass removed and evaluated to determine if additional cancer could be present in other parts of his body. Charlie maintains regular veterinary services at Quail Hollow Veterinary Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Charlie truly is the sweetest dog in the world as he greets everyone he meets with a huge smile and a wagging tail. Charlie is simply one of those dogs that can never be replaced as he is kind, compassionate, and so gentle. He provides unconditional love to not only myself but my friends and family. Charlie makes the world a better place solely with his existence as his happiness is contagious:) I work full-time with a limited income and am also a full-time graduate student actively paying my way through school with limited extra available at end of each month. Having Charlie healthy means he gets to continue spreading his joy to all he encounters!

Hello my name is Yazmin and I’m making this account to help my dad with his dog Frijolito. Frijolito was a stray that my dad took in, being a long time lover of animals my dad couldn’t resist. My dad is currently struggling to find a job and is on SNAP but is doing everything in his power to give Frijolito the life he deserves. We are hoping to try to get him medication for his seizures that are happening, we aren’t sure why they are happening but we are hoping that with your help we could get to the bottom of this. Since rescuing Frijolito he’s been slowly trusting my dad more and more over time. Like I said he was a stray so we are unsure of his history with people but are trying our best to get him use to us so that my dad could love on him without scaring him or losing his trust. My dad is currently struggling to find a job (I don’t live with him) he is on SNAP and is waiting to hear about housing assistance. It would be AMAZING if we could get a little help from you guys to just get my dad the help he needs so Frijolito can be healthy and happy.

Grayson

Grayson and I met at the south Los Angeles animal shelter about 8 year ago. Poor thing was abandoned or lost and from his condition, quite some time. The moment we met, it was instant chemistry. He been by little buddy now for 8 years. For those of you that know him, you know he is the sweetest baby boy. Grayson has a fast growing tumor on his front leg. We've gone to a few vets and sadly they do not feel comfortable removing it so they are recommending a board certified surgeon which will cost more than $5000. Grayson is a chill dude. He loves scratches and his stuffed animal friends MooMoo and CoCo. When he is at home, he likes to sunbathe in the mornings. At around 3pm, he is ready for cuddle times. He is shy with new people. He will face a wall and wait for the anxiety to pass. If given a back scratch, he will open up. He loves long walks but lately it's been tough due to his arthritis and tumor. At the moment, I'm working as a nurses aid at a cancer hospital & attending a full time nursing program so my funds are limited. I normally wouldn't ask for help but times are different now. I would & have done the same for others so I hope for the same in return.

Tuggy came into our lives after my husband and I lost our friend, Michael “Tuggy” Morris due to gun violence. We both were at the scene and my husband was giving him life support after suffering gun shots to his lower abdomen and leg when he passed away. Tuggy chose us when we met him. He was born exactly 1 month of Mike’s passing. Tuggy has his heart, spunk and spirt that’s reminds us of Mike. Tuggy has been suffering from an intestinal blockage due to eating something he was not supposed to and requires emergency surgery for removal. He is not feeling so good as he’s just been laying under mom and dad. He feels miserable and refuses to eat or drink. It breaks our heart he feels so bad! 😢 Tuggy enjoys his regular visits with his brothers and sisters on weekends. He is very affectionate and loves kisses from mom and dad. He is very interactive and demands playing tug-of war with you (lol). He is very outspoken and full of energy! He loves his belly rubs from his big sister who has Autism. Just seeing her smile and interact with him is priceless! He is a great companion! Tuggy got sick during the holiday season where money is tight for everyone. With the rain we been having, my husband was unable to work in which I have to cover our bills this month. Tuggy is very special to us and we do not want to endure losing him a second time.

Hi my beautiful Thanos came to us when we brought him hine at 5 weeks from Florida from someone who wanted to put him in a shelter. We drove 16 hours and brought him home. And since then he has been loved and care for. We have 4 other dogs that we have saved from situations. He has been having issues peeing and seems to be in pain. Has not been sleeping the last 2 days. The vet is recommending an ultrasound to see if his has a blockage. We are hoping is not the case. He has to be sedated for it because he is super scared of the vets. My Thanos saved me from a horrible place I was mentally at. He came into my life at the right time. I love him like my child. I can't imagine not being able to pay for what he needs. My car had broken down 2 weeks ago and I ended paying the money I had saved for it. Now I have nothing and he need to be seen tomorrow. I need the help. Please if you can it will mean the world

We got Thor from a friend and he has been the best pupper ever. He has become a support dog, a family member and so much more. He currently lives with his mom, his dad and a family of six including two toddlers who he absolutely adores. Thor decided to jump the fence on 14 December. He finally came home on the 18th, but he didn’t come home without battle wounds. We had taken him to the vet and they are requiring $800 down for the initial visit plus whatever else is needed. Thor‘s leg is mangled and hanging so we are assuming that he has a break or dislocation. We are currently using Bennettsville Animal Hospital Thor isn’t any more special then anyone else’s fur baby but to us he is the world. He loves playing with his little human friends and tries to protect them when they are getting a little too adventurous. He also is a great caregiver as I have a seizure disorder and he will lay on top of me when and after seizing. I am on social security and my boyfriend has a full time minimum wage position. We took in a homeless family of 6 and are trying to help them out as well. We just don’t have any funds and being this is an emergent situation didn’t know where else to turn.

Sweet vibrant Bear came to our family through a friend as a polar bear of a puppy! She has always been a puff ball of energy, ready to run and chase with our now 5 children. Bear was trail running with my wife and I since we got her! She loves the wilderness and water just as much as we do! She has loved living with us on the California coast, mountains and now the Oregon mountains. Bear during one of our hikes slipped out of her leash and had her front right paw run over by a car tire at a slow speed. She is in need of medication, antibiotics, surgery for two of her toes and the cost that comes with that. The folks at the Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialty Center have been great and we want to give all that they provide, we just can't afford it. Bear is not just a dog; she's our family's "ride or die" bestie. Whether she's scaling mountains, sledding through fresh snow, or rafting wild rivers, Bear does it all with an infectious joy that inspires everyone around her. She is gentle with our 1 year old, outrunning our teenagers, and chasing any water our 3 year old can get her hands on. She's always ready to play or for a belly rub. I am working a minimum wage job while I finish school that ends in the spring. Our savings has been depleted during a time of unemployment as well. If you could please donate or share Bear's story, it would mean the world to us to see her wagging tail back in action!

I saw a post on Facebook that someone was giving Loki away to a new home for free I immediately responded to the post and told them I’d come pick him up right now.unaware of his behavioral issues. I was told they just didn’t have time for him and he was a well behaved dog. Come to find out he’s insecure, protective, and has stranger danger. Along with skin allergies and under socialized. I am trying to find this poor boy some relief from constantly itching/chewing himself to the point he is losing patches of fur. He is my best friend and my baby boy I’ll do ANYTHING for him! I’m currently unemployed and I just lost my bread maker major support August 23,2024 to a heart attack I’ve been making sure my two boys are taking care of before I take care of myself..
