Sunnie and I live together, with no other pets in the house. Sunnie is my service dog who has been trained to perform tasks since 5 months old! He was given his name, Sunnie, because he was and is the sunshine to my life, every day. Sunnie loves chlidren and is a big fan of butt scritches. Sunnie is a client at Urban Tails vet in Durham, NC. He unfortunately was attacked by an offleash dog and pushed into a ditch where he dangled by his leash. He now needs to have a CCL repair due to tearing the ligament during the struggle. He needs to get this urgently because I need to have him back to being able to work. Sunnie is a lover of all things. I have never met a dog who is so friendly. He LOVES children (even when they dont have food all over their faces for him to lick LOL). He loves getting his butt scritched, and he LOVES food. He would eat 24/7 if he could! We live near 2 pet stores, and a coffee shop. He frequents them all, constantly, for his pup cups and treats. Sunnie is my service dog and he is unable to work due to his hurt leg. I need to get him into surgery and recovered as soon as possible so that he can get back to work again. He is so sad when he can't work. I want to see my baby be ableto run around again.

My pet came into my life when I was 18 years old. He was a gift from a friend and he was my first pet ever. As a child we couldn’t have any pets due to my sister having leukemia at the age of 4 this gave me and my family no time to raise or care for a dog. Zeus was my first ever true love; he came into my life when I needed him the most. He lives with us at home and we have given him so much love. My precious dog was severely injured and attacked by 2 dogs. This has been a shocking and devastating experience for me and my family. He is currently on intensive care at Animal Emergency Clinic in Grand Terrace. He has puncture wounds, unable to walk. Bite wounds to throat and legs; swollen throat and is missing a large area of skin on lumbar and rump. My dog loves to play with toys and likes to chase after tennis dog toys. He is very active and loves to be outside in the yard and run around the grass area. He loves to interact with me and my family. He knows how to sit, rollover and lay down; even knows how to give his paw. This has been a devastating experience for me with no emergency fund. As a college student hearing about my dog has been heartbreaking. I can’t function without him. I don’t want to put him down I want to do everything i can to help him recover from this horrible tragedy.

My dad passed away in 2021 & it broke my entire world. I did not handle my grief very well. In June 2022 unbeknownst to me Tucker was born, I struggled with the fact that life is short after my dad & having a french bulldog had always been a dream of mine since I was a teenager. I saw his picture in September of 2022 and something sparked inside of me that he was the one. 11/22 Tucker was taken to the ER in BG & they ran tests, treated him for pancreatitis. I had to leave him there. 11/23 I was told I could come get him. On my way, they called and said he had lost functions of his back legs within the hr. When we got home he had 0 function. 11/24 his vet, lost pain sensation in his legs. 11/25 rushed to ER in Louisville for IVDD for mri & surgery. Tucker has no boundaries & thinks every person & animal is his friend. He brings so much joy to his family. He’s goofy, lazy & has the sweetest heart. He loves attention & has never met a stranger even if they didn’t want to meet him. He thinks everyone wants to be his friend. He works on healing his human momma’s heart every day. This is a very unexpected, major expense. We are a family of 4, I am a current student my self who is a stay at home mom. Unfortunately, I have tossed the idea of selling my vehicle to be able to pay these massive ER vet bills that have accumulated in the last 24-72 hrs

My brother in law called my husband and said he just had a litter of baby bobcats, we were intrigued, so we headed over to see. When we got there, they were definitely not baby bobcats! But, my husband looked down at his feet and saw the cutest little face staring up at him. He picked him up and immediately, they were in love. They have been pretty much inseparable every since. Last night, Mittens didn't come home. We searched all day and we'll into the night. Finally, we found him curled up in some grass. My husband immediately reached down to pick him up and right away, he started meowing and trying to get away. My husband, with tears in his eyes, rushed him inside and sat him down. Mittens is unable to move his back legs. He calls out in pain if he tries to walk. He is full of love and curiosity. My husband is a mechanic and Mittens sits by him, observing his daddy's every move. They are inseparable. He is always with Daddy. I am currently looking for work, my husband takes any side jobs he can get, my mother just passed this week amd my brother in September. We are already having a rough time financially, and don't have the money for emergency vet care, but are desperate to help our baby.

We got Stark and his sister, MJ, from a friend at my old job back in 2019, and he’s been such a good boy to us for the last six years and I cannot picture our lives without him. Stark was totally fine. We came home after the movies and I let him out of the crate to potty and relax. He tried to walk out and fell. He had trouble using his back legs. We took him to the emergency vet. His blood work looked good and his xray dint show much. He needs an MRI to confirm (can’t afford), but they think he has a slipped disc or had a spinal stroke. Stark is such a sweet, handsome, and loving boy with a huge smile. He loves to give kisses and get pets and treats. He is a protector and the best of friends. The MRI he needs was quoted at $5,000, which is way out of my price range. They recommended euthanasia without surgery if he doesn’t improve. Cognitively he is great, and it’s hard to make that decision when the only thing wrong is his legs.

So I myself had back surgery and well with that j am missing a check from work. Well while I was recovering and had someone else looking after my baby boy he ended up getting into something. Took him in today and he needs a $2000 some surgery. There is a blockage and needs to be removed. But right off hand I have nothing j spent the last I had just to get him seen. So took my pup to mission pet hospital in Minnesota bc I was told they would do payments come to find out they will if the bill is over $300 but then u need 40% down. But they checked him out and his dehydrated and has a blockage. So he needs surgery. I have been nothing but a mess bc I can't help him I can't pay for it. So I'm sicker then sick I feel I have failed him. This pup I rescued and he has become my lil boy his my baby and has been there for me through so much already. He was there for me when my dad passed and then my uncle 3 days later. This dog is the perfect dog he listens like no other dog j know. And allows pretty much u can do anything and he just lays there and takes it. He curls up in my arms for bed time and stays till I'm asleep. I honestly don't know what or where I would be without this baby boy of mine. His my rock his my support his knows when I need a lil more love and cuddles. He knows when I just need him at my feet to cuddle. His just too perfect all there is to it.

May was rescued from an abusive situation at 5 months old, which is when I took her in, I was 18 at the time, I had a baby in January of this year, and May has been along for the ride! She’s amazing to the baby and they love playing tug of war together! She’s the sweetest girl, she actually had a dermoid cyst she was born with growing inside of her eyeball! Our family dog Diesel passed away 12 days ago which has led To may grieving very badly, as she is now the only dog. She began vomiting blood yesterday and I’ve drained my entire savings account to help her but they’re still needing to run further tests and need to put her on IVs or their not sure she’ll make it. She is the sweetest girl, she is also tough, she can destroy even the tough chewer toys which you’d never expect at her size! She is also a cuddly baby, she sleeps in my arms every night! I’m 21 with a 10 month old, I did, thankfully have a savings set aside for emergencies but unfortunately have spent it all on her treatment already. I’ll do anything to have her healthy again, just am unsure how to
