River came into my life 5 years ago. I saw her photo on a local pound’s Facebook page and her sweet little frown made me fall in love instantly. I knew I was meant to be her Momma. She had some health problems at first, being diagnosed with kennel cough and severely malnourished, but we loved her back to life, and she’s been my best friend ever since. River was diagnosed with a torn ACL one month ago after jumping the fence in our back yard. Since then we have been managing her pain with prescription medication, an orthopedic brace and some at home physical therapy exercises. However, she just doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Surgery to repair her torn ACL was recommended by our local Veterinarian Dr. Jarret at Hillcrest Animal Hospital. River is the most loving and loyal Dog you will ever see. She is gentle and kind, showing her affection by laying her head in your lap or forcing you to hold her paw. She is immeasurably special to our family and everyone who meets her loves her instantly. My 15 year old daughter has severe anxiety and River is her source of comfort and happiness. Our family is asking for help raising the 3,773.00 needed for River’s ACL repair procedure. Without this she will never live a normal life again. We are a middle class family and this sudden, extremely costly expense is simply beyond our financial means. We are DESPERATE.

Oreo came into my life at almost 1 with my husband. He rescued her as a puppy from a breeder that thought she was going to die because she wasn’t drinking from her mom. He nursed her back to health and has given her the best life a dog could possibly have. He chose her name because she looks like an Oreo. She has lived with us her entire life and became my husband’s service dog for ptsd around 2. Our little angel Oreo has soft tissue sarcoma diagnosed on October 9th, 2024. She has had two surgeries to try to remove the cancer but neither time were they able to get clean margins. Her oncologist is at MedVet SLC and thinks the best course of treatment to stop the cancer from spreading more and possibly curing it is radiation. Without it she believes the cancer will come back within a year. Oreo is a special and sweet little girl. Anytime we take her anywhere everyone just loves on her. Even when we take her to the vet the techs can’t wait to hold her and just rave about how good of a patient she is. She has the cutest smile when she is happy and loves to sit on her hind legs so we gave her the nickname prairie dog. Her favorite treat is a dream bone, she treats it like its her baby. Oreo has had a tough couple of years and the vet bills this year are adding up quickly. My husband is the only one that works while I stay home to take care of her. She means everything to us and we want to do everything we can to help her live a long happy cancer free life

I'm in a desperate situation with my beloved husky, Pooch. I rescued him after my roommate abandoned him when he was arrested, and the bond we've formed—especially with my two-year-old son—is irreplaceable. Recently, Pooch escaped our yard and sustained a severe injury to his paw that nearly severed it. He needs stitches urgently, but I can’t afford the veterinary care he needs. Pooch got out and his paw was ripped in half somehow and needs stiches to to fix it and stop them from taking his leg the medvet animal hospital in salt lake will be the ones to do the treatment. He is a talker doesn't like vacuums or being alone. He loves to cuddle and play fetch with my 2 year old son and also love to share his snacks while watching tv with him. I'm currently facing a pressing financial need due to unexpected vet bills for my beloved husky, He recently developed an injury to his paw and needs treatment, costs are overwhelming. Cooter is a 2 year old Dalmatian in williston, SC, who needs $2,000 for TECA Total Ear Canal Ablation.

Cooter and his brother Bo where found by a couple with a litter of their siblings and mother (Dalmation) tied up under a trailer during a very hard freeze. The couple rescued them, but the entire litter was too much for them, so we purchased two for our boys. Cooter has bad growths affecting both of his ears (imagine cauliflower ear but on the inside) and requires (2) TECA (total ear canal ablation). We had hoped the steroids, ear flushes, and liquid medicines would work, however, they proved ineffective. Cooter, Bo, and Daisy have become attached, nearly physically, to our three boys. They follow them everywhere and often sleep on them. They are also quite fond of Heathen, our cat. Each dog has a personality that emulates one of the boys, Cooter being the stoic alpha of the pack that occassionally exposes his silly side. They are physical and emotional guardians. This is simply an unexpected expense at the holidays, or anytime. We prepared ourselves to expect around $3k for surgery, but and additional $5k was just a shock. We shamefully wondered if we should allow someone else to adopt him who could afford treatment for his sake.

We’ve created a little oasis for her with soft grass, giving her a perfect spot to sunbathe and play. Lala fills our lives with joy, and her playful zoomies bring endless laughter. She truly Lala was born with ectopic ureters, a defect causing her ureters to drain into her urethra instead of her bladder. This condition makes it hard for her to retain urine and threatens her quality of life. Sadly, it’s starting to damage her kidneys. Without corrective surgery, Lala risks severe kidney disease, which could be life-threatening. I always wanted an American pocket bully ever since I was a little girl. They have always caught my eye, I was scrolling through Facebook when chopa then his name was banks needed a new home. I instantly knew that he needed to be my forever fur baby and I would do anything to get him in my arms. I saved up all my money and brought chopa home in 8 months ago and he’s been with me ever since then. On November 20th I dropped chopa of to my moms because I had to work out of town overnights. On November 21st I picked him up around noon and when I came back into my car from the store chopa was bleeding from his boy parts when I looked at him more there is a pea sized balled at the tip of his pen!s and is bleeding he has a exam on December 2nd to schedule surgery. Chopa is such a outgoing energetic playful puppie he loves to play with tennis balls especially the ones that squeaks, he loves taking walks about anywhere he can go his favorite spot is the waterfront because of all the commotion going down there all the time. He is the best cuddler and is quick to give you his paw to hold. He knows when you feel down and when to show affection to cheer you up! I was out of work for a week which through of my check I get paid bi-weekly and my check was more than half of what I usually get on a normal check. Anything helps and is appreciated

Well, where do I start? My name is Careen Yona. I am an international student. Ace came into my life unexpectedly honestly. I friend of mine came to me 2 months ago, with the dog on her hands asking me to keep him, I was hesitant at first but that was the best decision of my life. I chose the name Ace because he’s the number one important thing to me in my life. Ace got hit by a car on 21/11/24. I immediately took him to vergi 24/7 but I couldn’t keep him overnight because of the vet bill being higher than I could afford even for the second hospital they could only do what they could with the money that I had. As of now he needs FHO surgery and skyline Animal hospital said they can do it and the cost is $3941. I’m stuck cause I’m an international studen. My baby is just four months old but we met when he was 2 months old. He came to me very scared and very guarded, I remember he used to always hide under my couch. But now wherever I go he’s there, he’s found his own little technique just to get on bed with me. He is kinda shy around new people but once he’s used to you he’ll be all up in your space. I just want his old self back. I am an international student and for that I’m not allowed to work anywhere so my hands are tired in terms of working and earning the money. My parents are back in my country and the financial situation is worse it would mean everything if I could bring joy back to my dog.
