We first met this beautiful girl at Stanislaus animal shelter. Yesterday 11-5 we were able to adopt her so she hasn't even been home for a full day yet. But she is already loved and an amazing fit. We chose the name Mercy the second we met her Because God has been so good to us. And now we're blessed with this beautiful puppy we just want to take care of, love. And give her the best life. So the same day we picked mercy up. We had to take her to Standiford veterinary center because of her leg she had a limp and were told it could be broken. We got x rays and infact it is broken, and has been broken for approximately 2 or 3 weeks already, and will require surgery. They splint her leg and gave us pain medicine until we can get surgery So mercy has been home for 1 days but she loves her teething treats, loves to sit in your lap for love and belly scratches had the biggest eyes full of trust and love. I just know she feels at home and that brings us so much joy that she's safe and happy with family. So we were just adding a member to the family and had no expectation of the cost a broken leg could bring. We do work but this is very sudden and very expensive. And we don't want her to wait longer than she has to to get surgery

I was looking for a companion for my Maltese Abby. So i started looking on line at Pet Finder. When i seen Sophie's pic i just felt something about her. Even though she would have to be shipped from Aurora MO. to Cincinnati Ohio on a plane. Oh Boy!!!! was it worth it. Now Abby has a play mate And Sophie is a cuttie pie. Sophie has a kidney stone Dr Collen Black says its so big that its taking up her whole bladder. I take her to PETS IN NEED of Greater Cinti. She needs surgery. She has to wear a diaper all the time. And that's no quality of life or she pees on the floor very often and also poops in her diaper too. In pics 7& 8 taken recently you can tell a big difference than the other ones, taken in 2022 & 2023. Sophie loves to go to the dog park. Seems she is more interested in marking her spot more then playing and running around. She loves riding in my basket on my 3 wheel bike. And sitting in shopping baskets when i take her with me. She usually gets so much attention because she is so cute and i dress her up too. She is such a joy to me. I lost my Maltese a few years ago. She's I am a single pet mom. Iam on Social Security Disability and living on a limited income. I just cant afford to have surgery on Sophie. And it breaks my heart to see her suffer going thru Kidney stone issues. I want her to have a good quality of life, for what time she has.

Maverick is my two-year-old baby, my constant companion, and the joy of my life. He’s full of love, energy, and spirit, and has trained in service work. We recently moved to a Minnesota farm so he can run and play freely every day. He deserves a bright, happy, healthy future, and my heart aches to see him in pain. Maverick was brutally attacked and suffered a shattered bone along with two additional breaks in his foot. He urgently needs orthopedic surgery to save it and have a chance at a normal, active life. We went to the Animal Emergency & Referral Center (AERC), where his surgery was quoted at 5–7k dollars. I am doing everything I can to help him heal, but I cannot afford this critical care on my own. Maverick is an incredible, sweet, and gentle dog with a huge heart. He loves everyone he meets and always greets people with warmth. He is affectionate, loyal, and emotionally intelligent, comforting me whenever I’m sad. His playful, loving nature brings joy and light every day, making him truly special and one of a kind. I am trying to find stable work and do not have the funds or any emergency savings to cover Maverick’s urgent orthopedic surgery to save his foot. The cost of 5–7k is beyond my means. Having him healthy again would mean the world — seeing him run, play, and be happy.

Oakley has been a member of our family since just 4 weeks old. He is the guardian of our 3 year old son and has been there through all of our challenges continuing to give us his love. Especially in the late nights when our son had medical issues. I was never alone. Oakley had started losing a lot of weight and it was very alarming. So I took him to be checked out which led to further testing to them finding a mass near his heart that needs to be removed. Our primary vet is parkland in Sylvan lake, our secondary imagine vet is cedarwood in Red deer and our specialist with the oncologist is at The CARE clinic in Calgary. This surgery will save Oakley's life! There are not enough characters in this text box to tell you how special Oakley is to us. He has the most goofy demeanor, believes he is a lap dog, and has the most caring soul. If even a stranger at the playground is crying, Oakley doesn't take his attention off them until they are okay. He spends his days playing with our 3-year-old son and his nights sleeping on his bed.He's the best boy ever. Our son had medical issues resulting in two surgeries which has prevented me from returning back to work And are looking at a possible third surgery. We used our emergency savings only a few months ago on our cat that had a medical emergency and passed away.

I got ChewBacca (Chewy) from my best friend when her female lab became unexpectedly pregnant with a litter at the end of last year. Currently I have him, his brother Onyx (11mos), and Penny (Penelope 8yrs) along with their human brother Dylan living with me. Chewy ingested pieces of a vinyl toy that was gifted to us, that has caused a major obstruction in his intestines and has not been able to successfully pass any of the pieces seen on the x-ray over the last 48 hours. Surgery is the only option at this point. He is being seen at Animal Hospital of Pea Ridge in Milton. Chewy is one of a kind. I knew that there was something special about him when he came running full force out of my best friends house and stumbled down off the porch into the grass completing a summersault in the process and landing and looking around as if to check if anyone was watching. He is a ball full of energy some days I think “I’m in over my head with this one.” Due to this extremely unforeseen event and having just gotten the puppies a couple months ago, I do not have between $5,000 -7,000.00 laying around to just tell them to do the surgery. Anything that anyone can help with would’ve greatly appreciated.

Kip is a 5yo cattle dog who is also my service dog. She’s so incredibly smart & talented & is so much more than family to me. She’s my soul dog & has been through so much with me, I can’t imagine life without her. Kip needs to have surgery on her left eye. She was diagnosed with Anterior Lens Luxation. The lens in her eye has fallen backwards & needs to be removed. It is causing her to have limited vision. Kip has NEVER met a stranger. Everybody is her best friend & everyone has meets her, absolutely loves her. She’s loves to give kisses & snuggles & loves to play ball. She’s is very talkative & looks at you like she’s really listening when you talk to her. I’m currently on a limited income. My hours at work have been cut & with other very important, pressing bills, I am barely floating on the water. Kip is my service dog, recommended by my doctor. Her not being well is breaking my heart. I would rather lose everything.

I got Rosie in December from a person selling her on the streets of downtown LA. She looked frightened and lonely, so I brought her home that same day to prov her safety and love. Since then she has become a gentle, joyful part of my family. Rosie accompanies me constantly, relishes affectionate cuddles, takes pleasure in toys, and consistently br She quickly bonded with me and trusts me so deeply Rosie has a swelling under her jaw, and the vet at Affordable Animal Hospital diagnosed her with a salivary mucocele caused by a ruptured gland. The leaking fluid can get infected or affect her breathing. She needs surgery soon to remove the damaged gland and prevent the swelling from becoming dangerous and more painful. Rosie is a sweet and gentle dog who follows me everywhere and loves cuddles. She enjoys soft toys, treats, and short walks. She sits by my feet and watches everything I do. Rosie is friendly with everyone and has a calm, loving personality. She brings joy, comfort, warmth, and peace into my life daily and is a deeply cherished little soul. his expense was unexpected, and I don’t have savings or an emergency fund to cover Rosie’s surgery. I got Minnie & Max when a friends mother died. She's been w/me 11yrs. They're family. Max passed on laying w/me @ night in 23. I'd never put them to sleep unless such pain would be cruel to not do so, but I've never had that happen. She sleeps on my bed when I'm home or my 5yr old granddaughter or other kids. She the only thing that keeps me going while my life is falling completely apart. So the problem is that I don't know if it's a chronic issue or just an urgent issue you can hear her in the video, that's not even when it's bad. I can't sleep she wakes up & the cough is Non-Stop! still drinks, eating some they want x-rays & tests, they gave me an estimate for $704.91 then said let them know. It's Northern Regional Veterinary Hospital Her favorite friends are me my son Joe & Bugsy my Staff Terrier. She has all kinds of toys she plays with & Not Afraid of Anything. She's more like a watchdog a noise & she's on it. Seeing her like this kills me! I don't how to help her other than this. I rub her tummy, throat & neck when she's hacking to make it stop. It comes back in a hr or less. I stay up just to soothe her, she's my baby! I operate my own semi for 50 years. On 1-1-24 an act of God, ended my business & took all my savings. I've lost everything. My story is bleak, it's anything that can go wrong has gone wrong since. But losing her to a illness due to no $ will destroy me! Please Help Her & me.
