Kaiser Rey is our child. My son responded to an ad on Craigslist for a free Shepherd. 30 min later a 9 month old stick loving baby joined the family. He turned 5 in September. He's the heartbeat of our home. He has kitten. He loves to be sassy, plays fetch, loves walks with his dad, talking to the neighbors and playing tug of war or just lets his sister drag him around the house with their toys. Kaiser has a lot of chronic health issues. Pet insurance will not cover. He's currently hospitalized at Alamo Heights pet clinic and being treated by Dr. KIRBY and his team. Kaiser is recovering from UTI surgery, battling a super bug and an infection from a virth defect he has where his genitalia is exposed and prone to infection. Kaiser is fighting and showing great progress and he's doing well Kaiser has an obsession with his dad, his cat and life in general. He goes out every morning to let everyone know that he's awake. He loves his scrambled eggs. once he knows your making them he settles down to patiently wait. He loves playing fetch. Is obsessed with sticks, has been known to take the fire wood back outside to play with. He's the only dog I've seen put his toys away. He's the best We just had a car accident and it's put us in a financial bind. On top of Kaisers situation. We need some help and then our clinic can help us with a payment plan for the rest of Kaisers care.

Ramsey was a gift to our little family. Sadly I lost my best friend of 9 years to cancer his name was Hank. Hank was my little mutt and unfortunately on Dec 27, 2023 a tumor that had gone undetected in his liver suddenly erupted. Ramsey was our fresh start with a new family member but also helped me realize he wasn’t filling Hanks position but was instead beginning a new chapter of his own. Very similar to Hank, Ramseys condition was sudden and undetectable. IMHA is an autoimmune disease that causes his body to attack its own red blood cells and rapidly. Ramsey stayed at Nashville Veterinary Specialists + Animal Emergency for a week and underwent three blood transfusions and much more in Oder to stabilize him so the other drugs could help regenerate. So far so good. Ramsey hasn’t been here long and due to his condition we have been instructed to keep away from other animals and not allow much activity. All that puppy energy is contained within the home now. Watching him jump and spin 6-7 times consecutively when food comes, jumping to greet, flinching at him to get a little attitude back all carries a whole new meaning. My wife and I just purchased our first home and were aware of some of the things that needed to be fixed but with numerous inspections we were told nothing urgent. We have since learned the basement floods and our roof is busted. Ramseys Vet bill so far is 11k+ all on credit

Lala, my loyal German shepherd, joined me at 2 months old, and we’ve shared 5.5 years together. Recently diagnosed with lymphoma, she’s bravely undergoing chemo. Lala is filling our home with love and joy. Her name reflects her gentle bark, and she adores beach walks and nature trails. She’s my world, and any support for her treatment would mean everything to us as we fight for her health. Currently doing new drug Tanovea (did 2 treatments so far); the prognosis is great but we need 3 more treatments, each Tanovea chemo session is around $3,000. We are going for chemo session to San Diego Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Sorrento Valley. Lala is truly special—she has a gentle, calming presence and seems to know when someone needs a bit of extra love. With family, she’s incredibly affectionate, often placing her head on our laps to show she cares. On walks, her playful side shines; she adores fetch and exploring nature. Her loyalty and sweet nature make her a cherished part of our family, always bringing us comfort and joy. Lala’s lymphoma diagnosis brought unexpected medical costs with her chemo treatments. Supporting her care is challenging, but having her healthy again would mean everything. She’s family, and any help towards her recovery brings us closer to the joyful life she deserves

Tito

Tito is a 10 month old Chihuahua in JUPITER, FL, who needs $2,000 for EKG for Anesthesia, Hernia, Dental Issues, Surgery.

I rescued Tito from a hoarding situation. He had an awful upper respiratory infection due to his living conditions. Upon taking him for veterinary we discovered Tito has numerous health issues. He has brought so much joy into our home. Tito lives with myself, my 12 year old son John and our 11 year old mix Abraham Lincoln. Upon getting Tito treated for his upper respiratory infection we discovered that Tito has a heart murmur 2/6 an undescended testicle, a ventral hernia as well as 7 baby teeth that need to be surgically removed. Before Tito can have any of these issues addressed he must be cleared by cardiology with an EKG which is very costly. He is considered “high risk” for anesthesia due to his murmur Tito is a ball of love! He has so much personality and loves people. He has brought out other dogs youthful spirit back. Tito has become so integrated into our lives in a very short time. He makes us all so happy and I am beyond devastated he is in this situation. I am a single mom and In addition to Tito’s necessary procedures, our other boy, Lincoln is also in need of surgery to remove a cancerous mass on his neck. I recently relocated out of state after being out of work since April and just recently secured a new job.

Hugo is a 6 year old Great Dane in Dodgeville, WI, who needs $2,000 for Cranial Cruciate Surgery.

We were fortunate to come across and rescue Hugo from a farm in Iowa when he was just 9 weeks old. And a good thing, we were told prior he had been to the vet and dewormed, I asked for those records when we picked him up, and they stated they forgot. We tried numerous times to contact them after that, but they went dark. Hugo's first visit to our vet showed he was full of worms. Hugo is now 6 1/2 and needs Cranial Cruciate Surgery (same as ACL for humans) on his hind left leg. Despite his painful limp, Hugo still greets my husband daily with full vigor when he comes home from work. He will be having his procedure done at Madison Veterinary Specialists Hugo completely stole our hearts at first sight, he helped us through the hardships that have come our way over the years with his unconditional love. Hugo is not just a pet, but family; another child that we will do anything for. In our eyes, he is the most handsome, sweet, loving, and biggest fur baby you can imagine. He makes us laugh and smile every single day of our lives. My husband had a couple of medical setbacks and now work. A customer went way over budget with other contractors and now there's not enough money to pay. We just want him to have the best outcome with surgery so he can enjoy his senior years pain-free

I purchased Maui through a pet store in my neighborhood. I purchased him at a very low time in my life when I weighed my highest weight and I was denied my opportunity to study abroad my senior year of college. Fast forward three years and I got to study abroad whilst Maui stayed with my partner at the time and now him and I go on hikes together. He loves the outdoors.. My dog Maui is a three old Australian shepherd that has an obstruction in his salivary gland that needs surgery to remove. I’m a low income New York City resident that can’t afford the costs as salivary gland surgery can be upwards of $1000+. The blood work alone costs me $450. He was seen at Morris Park Vet Hospital and gave me an estimate of 800-1200. Hes the most energetic dog I know and that’s saying something because I know a lot. He loves to cuddle and has a way with the ladies lol. I love that crazy dog boy He’s special to me because as I mentioned earlier I had a partner. Presently my partner and I are separated. He estranged me and no longer communicates with me nor can he be found. He left me with all our financial responsibilities including our rent and animal care.

Alpha

Alpha is a 10 month old Border Collie in Tonawana, NY, who needs $500 for CT Scan.

He is now ten months old. When he was almost three months old, I took him from the shelter. I don't know about his life before that, I only know that he and his siblings lived in the shelter. When he was about 3 months and half old, I noticed he was having trouble and pain in his left leg. I informed the vet at the time, but they didn't find anything. Last week, I took him back to the vet, and after an X-ray, they diagnosed him with elbow dysplasia. They said he needs further treatment like a CT scan, medication, and possibly surgery. The problem is, the cost of treatment My dear Alpha is really exceptional and intelligent, he is very smart and strong, he understands our feelings, he is very kind and loving, he loves sports, running and ball, even now even though his hand hurts... he is an angel, a wonderful creature from another world. The cost of treatment and even the diagnosis of alpha disease is heavy for me. Last week, the radiology was very expensive, but the CT scan and other procedures cost more for me. Alfa is like my child, he is very dear to me

Muffin came to our animal rescue July of this year. She was around a month old. She is held in a puppy pen away from the other dogs in case she goes into heat. We walk her 3 to 6 times a day. Muffin is 4 months old and we are trying to come up with the funds to have her spayed and get up to date with her shots so we can adopt her out. Our vet is Beaver screen animal hospital in Langly,Ky. Muffin loves it when our grandkids go out there and with her with tennis balls, or her tug a war toy, or just playing fetch with a stick. She loves playing with Pandora another dog here at our animal rescue We need to have her current on her shots and spayed so we can adopt her out to a good forever homes. We try to have all of our animals fixed and up to date on shots when we adopt them out.
