My beautiful girl Stella is one (1) year old & 10 months. She was an adoption from MADACC. She was young, approximately three (3) months old at the time of her adoption. She is so loved by my six (6) grandchildren. She's especially loved by the one who (unfortunately) has Autism (the youngest of them). Stella has been limping for a few months. It became more predominant last week. She started holding up her (right) paw, putting little weight on it. I started to notice, the same leg started kind of, "boeing out." I took her to West Allis Veterinary Clinic. They needed to sedate her to do a few x-rays. She's been diagnosed with a soft tissue injury, for a shorter definition. Stella is so special for many reasons. Chevy, my precious adoption, from the same place, had to be humanly put to sleep. His cancer returned after seven (7) year. I was devastated. Stella has filled that emptiness after my loss. She's full of love, happiness, & is a silly girl! She loves, absolutely everyone! She's so loving & comical!. With a bit of her own style of sassiness! The end of last month, a roof had to be (fully) replaced, or the insurance company would drop their coverage. That being said. It would mean so much to see Stella living her best life insteadd of being in pain & limping around. I don't see human euthanizing her as an option.

Marvel came into my life as a miracle. My 17-year-old Border Collie, Chaplin, had just passed after enduring months of seizures from an unknown cause. It was brutal to watch a dog who was such a vibrant, smart dog (he knew all his toys by color and could find a dizzying assortment of items by name) suffer. When he died we thought we could never love another dog as much until Marvel brought joy! Marvel's growing blindness is an early onset of cataracts which is, we're told, unusual for a dog this young. Within a matter of 6-8 weeks he quickly got bad enough that we noticed his walking into walls and falling. If he can have the surgery at All About Eyes, surgeon Dr. Kelly Sigle indicated he'd have a chance at living with full vision again which would be a blessing for this wonderful dog. Marvel's fav friend is my Mom's dog, Chantilly, who happens to be his half-sister (same Dad). Before his blindness they played constantly and would take turns at who could reach the "treat puzzle" faster! Since his blindness he seems bewildered and wants to be snuggled by me and Chantilly is happy to look after him! Marvel loves to make snow AND dirt angels. He used to love hide and seek games. I lost my job from a massive nationwide layoff, my mother lives w/me and she's recovering from her 3rd serious surgery so has her own expenses, I'm close to losing my home, we lost our Fiat only car in HH,so to be able to let Marvel be healthy again would be a blessing.

Aqua came into my life by picking me at 2 months old She grabbed onto my sweater at the pet store didn’t let go. That’s when I knew she was mine. Her eye is how she got her name along with me being a Pisces. Aqua. I came out with the dog. I was depressed no job My life had just changed drastically. We started Rough just her My siblings and I. Aqua gave me my purpose again. I was walking aqua like every morning/eveningish that I do. All of a sudden we see a pit bull running towards us I freak out a little bit but I just push aqua behind my legs pushing the other dog and yelling no to him and unfortunately that wasn’t enough to help. Aqua has a wound bite on the side of her body the bite/tear is about a size of marble along with minor/ deep bites going up to her neck Aqua found me. In all reality I wasn’t looking for a dog I didn’t at the time think I was ready for one but Aqua picked me and changed me forever. She really helped me during my tough times mentally physically she got me up everyday she saved me I want to save her. She’s The sweetest husky, very Vocal when she wants to be, do anything for a snack, loves the dog park, her bestie is a Chihuahua. she has a hole in her body I feel worthless not being able to help. She helped me, I was unemployed for a while due to an injury, it been hard money wise I took in my siblings car broke down no job but still managed to keep a float. now it’s my best friend that needs me

The day we got Tee cup, we were at petsense for an adoption event, I’d help my mom out and while we were there a woman wanted to give this small litter a new home. Me and my family were fosters so we took them home and since then Tee cup was my baby girl We don’t specifically know what’s wrong all we know is she has been puking blood. We are at Outwest urgent animal hospital in Little Rock we get to take her home but the vet bill isn’t nice. Tee cup loves to play with piggy and the rest of her pack mates, she loves tug-a-war and getting the ball before the rest of them. She also loves water, it’s the funniest thing to see her play with the hose, she also will speak her mind even if her barking makes your ears bleed. I only have about 1,000 saved up. I have been saving for a car for months, and then this kind of popped out of nowhere, I can barely afford it. I feel hopeless and I still don’t even know if Tee Cup will actually be okie….

Rowen came into my life when I needed her the most. I tell people she was an angel sent to me from God. She is my legally certified emotional support animal. She really has saved my life. The day we brought her home we didn’t even have any intentions of getting a dog that day but the minute I laid eyes on her I fell in love and just knew she was mine and I had to bring her home. Rowen LOVES to sleep in the bed with us and cuddle right up next to my legs or sometimes lays right in my lap between my legs. She has to be as close to mom as possible. She’s incredibly intelligent. She can do several tricks including roll over on command. She loves loading up in the car and going to swim and play fetch in any body of water no matter the weather. She’s super personable. Rowen does so well with other dogs and people. She LOVES people and LOVES to play. Some people would assume she’s ferocious due to her size but contrary to belief she lays down and cowards to the tiny chihuahua weenie mix breeds we have in the house. She just wants to show how friendly she is and willing to play and share cuddles. On 3/1/2024 Rowen was playing with her best friend our neighbors dog Maverick. She crossed the road when a car was coming and was hit. We rushed her to Dr. Hardt veterinary hospital in Palestine TX and it was determined by x-ray that she has multiple pelvic fractures. We are so thankful she is alive but the injuries she sustained require surgery. I recently had my first child on 1/20/2024 and have been on maternity leave from my job without any pay. This accident is a major financial burden for me. Rowen needs the surgery so she can run, jump, and swim again.

Lola was given to me by son is in Oregon. She was flown to Michigan when she was only 3 months old in July, 2022. She’s been with me since then and she has grown to recognize me as her guardian. Lola has grown to love every family member and also some of the neighbors. She’s quite friendly and loves to peek out the window when she hears kids playing outside. She enjoys spending time with me and likes going for walks with me and sometimes other family members. She is also very comforting when she notices that you look sad or painful. Every morning she would come with her toy to wake me up. She loves belly rubs and massages, and when you are massaging her and stop before she is satisfied she will signal by patting your hand for you to continue. She loves to go outside and try catching bunnies and squirrels which make me laugh just because of the way she chases after them. During walks she tends to get excited when we pass neighbors houses that have dogs. she got me through tough time Lola has had diarrhea and throwing up for the past 3 weeks now. She has seen by Breton village and Cascade Hospital for Animals 4 times now. Treatment was provided with no improvement. She’s received fluids, antibiotics, steroids, appetite stimulants, etc without improvement. She is noted to have a linear foreign body. She was seen by Dr. C. Siegle today and was to have emergency surgery today. I am currently not working due to poor health. For this reason Lola could not have surgery due to financial constraints. She was referred to Animal emergency hospital in Byron center Michigan. She will likely have surgeon Monday if funds will be available.

I am the proud owner of a lovable Frenchie named Coco. Sadly, Coco was abandoned by her breeder due to a congenital heart murmur, which at the time, we thought would heal on its own. My family and I welcomed her into our home and have been showering her with love ever since. She has brought our neighbors, our family, and our friends so much happiness and love since she arrived in our lives. Coco loves to explore the great outdoors! She's especially fond of bug hunting and munching on tasty treats during the cooler evenings. At night, she cuddles up right beside me in bed and always wakes me up with lots of kisses in the morning. During the afternoons, she gets super excited and loves to play and run around with the kids. It's always a fun time when Coco is around! Our sweet girl is quite the performer when it comes to getting her favorite treat - food! She loves nothing more than to show off her skills, dancing around on just her two back legs. It's truly a sight to behold. Her sweet demeanor is the cherry on top. Coco's PDA Heart Surgery will be performed on Aug. 29th for under $4000. It's her only chance to receive this care before the Dr. goes out on her own in September, after which the cost will be much higher and wouldn't be able to be performed until December at which time the blood flow in Coco's heart could have changed directions and it would be too late. We are trying to cover the expenses for our French Bulldog, however, unexpected costs can be challenging. Nevertheless, we will continue to provide for our furry family member the best we can, and we appreciate your support in every way.

Buster

Buster is a 8-year-old Shih Tzu/Terrier Mix in Hillsboro, OH, who needs $2,000 for Right Perineal Hernia, Neuter, Mass Removal (Right Hind Limb).

Buster was picked up by our local Dog Pound about a month ago. He has been with me for about 3 weeks. He was extremally neglected and underweight. He has a perianal hernia and a mass with possible cancer cells that needs removed. Without this surgery it is life threatening. It took awhile to pick his name but he defiantly looks like a Buster. He has quickly fit in with his new family. Buster has fit in with his doggie brother Ollie and 2 sister cats Karen and Lanor. He is a very sweet natured dog and loves playing with his siblings. Despite the hard life he has had he interacts well with the whole family and has picked up quickly on house training and listens extremely well. We are currently working on fattening him up as he was skin and bones when he came to us a few weeks ago When we first brought Buster home he looked so sad and defeated. Life had really beaten him down. He now has nothing but love in his eyes. He loves chasing the cats around the house and bossing his brother around. He is very sweet and loving a despite the life he has is not mean or aggressive. His favorite thing is following me around and being loved on. Oh and his squeaky. He's diagnosed with Right Perineal hernia, neuter, mass (right hindlimb). He will require the hernia to be repaired, neutered and the mass removed which will need hospitalization 24 hours, anesthesia, IV catheter and ﬂuids, medications to go home (some will be a written prescription), CBC/Chemistry, limited ultrasound. Full Recovery expected! Buster is a stray that found his way into our life a few weeks ago. We are not able to pay the full amount for his surgery which can be life threatening if not fixed.

The most gut-punching words you can hear as a dog lover and animal rescuer are "positive for parvo." But those horrible words are what Delilah's 2nd Chance Rescue heard after they saved Timon and his littermates. "Timon and his siblings came to us with everything in the books: worms, parasites, fleas, and now parvo," Ashley M., with the rescue, tells Waggle. One of Timon's littermates passed away; others came down with the virus, and now Timon is in the hospital, fighting for his life. "One minute, he was this rambunctious happy, healthy, shoe-biting puppy," Lori says. "The next, he's dwindling into nothing as he vomits, has diarrhea, and whimpers in pain." The rescue is begging for donations to pay for Timon's expensive medical care. "Every penny counts towards veterinary bills," Lori says. "Thank you so much for your support!"
