When my son was 15, He said he really want to have a dog. He love pet a lot. So we decided to go to the shelter to check it out. The first time we have been in the dog shelter. We saw Bobo and we love it, so we adopt it on the same day we take him to pet vet because it had a lumb on his leg. The doctor he had a cancer and it need to be removed. We really cant afford the surgery because it about between 4k to 5k. We had the pet for about 7 years. we love it, it really fun to be with the dog. We take it to a lot places with us. beach. park we walk with it every day. we really enyoy it. It would be really it we lost him The surgery would cost about 4-5k. We really can not afford. it at all. It would really helpful if we can do the surgery and have the healhy dog again. we really enjoy walking, playing with the dog.

Crackers is a 9 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Cleveland, TN, who needs $2,000 for Critical Emergency Care.

Crackers is a rescue who came to us in a little bit of an odd way. She was hit by a car as a puppy and was abandoned at a vet's office. When the vet saw her, they treated her incl. surgery and took her to the ASPCA. We found her there after many months of her being shown to multiple people who wouldn't take her because of her scar. We found her and fell in love immediately. She has been home since She was outside on a potty break and something caught her attention. She was found standing in our yard a few minutes later, bleeding and disoriented. We think she may have been trying to get to the pups and someone hit her, but we can't be sure. We only know that she is hurting and was rushed to Animal Emergency and Specialty in Chattanooga, TN. She has extensive damage to her trachea and lungs. Crackers is the most docile, loving, and affectionate dog we have ever had. She loves her family and especially kids. We have three other dogs who take their queues from her. She plays with the puppy and is mom to another who we adopted a few years after we adopted crackers. Her boyfriend is my mother's Chihuahua/corgi mix weighing 15lbs. She is our baby, even though she is our oldest. This came at the wrong time for us as we have depleted our emergency fund to cover unexpected repairs and adjusting our home to allow for home care. We now have to come up with a way pay this and to rebuild our fund while caring for an Alzheimer's patient.

Shiola is a 8 year old Labrador Retriever in North Platte , NE, who needs $700 for Mass Removal Surgery.

Shiola came into my life in June 2016 when she was 6 months old. She has been an expert siezure detection dog since 2017. She has been my life saver and service dog since 2018. She is loved by so many. She has 1 human brother, 1 human sister and 1 cat sister. Shiola was seen after hours at the vet (baseball sized mass). She was placed on 3 medications. The mass went from baseball sized to dime sized on the outside but the mass is currently still inside her body & needs removed by surgery. She sees Dr. Michael Wolfe at Eastside Animal Center Shiola loves people & other animals. She saved my life back in 2017 after she started letting me know I was going to have a siezure. If it wasn't for her, I would have never went to the doctor & I wouldn't have found out I have epilepsy. Shortly after she became my service dog. She is loved & now it's my turn to give back to her by helping her get the surgery she needs to get better. Shiola hasn't had any health issues since I've had her. She's had the basic wellness checks & required vaccines throughout her life up until now. Now she needs surgery to remove this mass. Removing this mass, gives her a second chance to save lives again. Please help!

Current living situation with Mom at a Homeless shelter. Mom and Gizmo have been at shelter since 01/06/2023. Gizmo is 12 years old and has been with mom since birth. Gizmo is more than a service dog and EMS to Mom and is an important part of Mom's life. Gizmo is currently due for a surgery relating to Perianal adenomas which is a slow-growing, and sometimes painful masses that grown around the "anus." Gizmo is a well-trained companion who is kind to other dogs and highly protective of mom. Gizmo loves to express himself by standing on his hind legs and dancing. Gizmo also loves attention from new people and always accepts pets and scratches! Currently homeless and residing at a Homeless shelter. I cannot afford the surgery expenses that is coming out to $1,569.70 while also having other major expenses to take care of.

Littlebit has not been in my life but for a few months. She is originally from Tennessee. Bought from a breeder THE buyer then passed away. His family didn't want her, so my brother took her in. However, he couldn't keep her. So I took her. She was antisocial, toothless and had an impacted mammary gland. She lived in a kennel for most of her life, so it has been a major change for her. She has been very adaptive to these changes. At first she wasn't welcoming to people. I worked with her and now she and I are quite attached to each other. She still hides in the dark at times. Unfortunately, her gland has become worse so I have taken her to a vet. We need to do surgery and check for cancer. I have also had eye surgery and diagnosed with sarcoidosis. My finances are limited. She is a happy, cuddly sweet girl. Barks at cats and loves car rides. Follows my dog Elvis around. She loves life. Her Dr's at Granbury Animal Clinic are hopeful for her but we need to do surgery as soon as possible., and pray no cancer. We still have a ways to go with social but she's had so many changes I can't rehome her. So I must ask for help. She deserves a chance for a new life. I am disabled living on retirement. I have life long medical needs. Emotionally I have lost a daughter, brother and uncle. Not seeing a granddaughter I have become attaced to her. My pets are like people that are always there for me. We are a family.

Marlee was a rescue twice. The 1st home was abusing him the second was from one of 6 dogs. He is a beautiful long haired dachshund and Chihuahua mix. It takes him a while to warm up to people, and he barks a lot. When we rescued him, we noticed he was having seizures, stiffened up and shaking so we started him on seizure medicine. Then, after few years, he kept urinating on the floor when we took him to the vet we found out he is a diabetic He’s been on his shots for over a year, but now he’s losing his eyesight. His vet is Hopkins Road animal Hospital in Kernersville, North Carolina. Yes Marlee has an older sister Sophie. Who also is her rescue. She as well has seizures, and due to abandonment has hip problems. Marley and Sophie do everything together and hate when we separate them for even for vet appointments. Sophie uses a wheelchair at times and Marlee got her to run in it and chase him around the yard. Marlee just this year started playing with his many stuffed animals. Me Marlee’s mom, I had a neck fusion C5, 6, 7 in August and it’s taking me out of work. I need to have my gallbladder out, which means I will not be able to return to one of my part-time jobs. I work every other weekend 8 to 10 hours. And rely on my husband Social Security.

My previous dog was tragically injured and had to be put to sleep. I was devastated as this was a month before my birthday on Christmas a good friend purchased Oreo and had the seller call me to come pick him up I stated I didn’t have the money and they said he had been paid for by Santa. I noticed he wasn’t as energetic as normal about two weeks ago he has declined since slowly losing weight stopped eating I noticed he had black liquid stool and terrible breath he stopped eating dog food. I was cooking food and feeding him hamburger chicken last two days now he stopped eating completely. He’s skin and bones. He’s lost so much weight. I have to pick him up and put him outside. he’s my best friend he’s loyal. He loves my daughter and her cats. He’s part of our family. My daughter can’t whistle and she makes a whistling sound and he starts howling. We play with him under the covers and he tries to attack our hands he snorts like a little pig. He follows me everywhere I go. I’ve had to take FMLA leave. Tell my oldest daughter and take care of my grandchildren hours are unpaid on top of the catastrophic vehicle issue which currently I don’t have fixed yet I’m currently trying to get help for rent as we are at risk of eviction

He was hit by a car and they kept driving off and I'm at neel Oklahoma City veterinary hospital and they wouldn't check him in cause I don't have 200$ to give them. He is my boyfriend and my 9 year old daughters life line he has been there support animal for the last 6 months and I feel like I'm failing them right now I have no home I live in my car I have 5 kids who is all staying with friends I lost everything cause of an abusive relationship and I can't lose him me my kids and boyfriend have lost so much in the last few months and I just recently buried my adopted daughter last month.

I got Jonah as a puppy 9 years ago when I was 14 years old. He’s been my constant best friend and companion. I’m a full time student so we live with my mom and sister. They also love Jonah so much Tuesday the 15th of October Jonah was crying and pacing around the yard. Trying to throw up but it appeared extremely painful. We rushed him to an emergency vet at 11pm and were shortly afterwards informed he had a severe case of Bloat. Meaning his stomach was filled with gas and had flipped, cutting off circulation. All this lead to him needing emergency overnight surgery to save his life. Jonah has been my best friend all through my teenage years and now into my 20’s. He has a little sister Chia, a 2 year old Anatolian Shepherd. He also spends his evenings relaxing by a fire in the wood stove with his “gam gam”, my mom. I am a full time student that works at a cafe on all my days off from classes. Jonah’s life saving surgery came to $6,600. I am trying to pick up extra shifts to help pay for it while balancing making sure he has a smooth recovery.
