I was looking for a companion animal that I can love and care for. I ended up rescuing Maverick or should I say he rescued me from SPCA in Solano County-the best day of my life and I’ve had him for the last six years now. He’s always with me. I moved to AZ to care for my parents, my parents are elderly. Dads A Vet amputee..who now takes walks. I have my house but, mav likes sleep overs! He has what looks like seizures at least once every month or once every other month. Classic signs..tremors, stiffness, absent gaze, panting, then sleeping for about an hr. Yesterday he had one and he lost some sensation in his back end, slow react to pinching paws, won’t jump up, his back end slopes down, fumbles back feet, his feet slide. At times he looks like he want to but it’s not processin I don’t have a significant other in my life, human wise. HE is my side kick. Takes up more bed than I do. we travel together, grandkids, grandparents, are all in love with him. He saved me now I need to save him! People call to FaceTime mav, when we’re not in town. My dad baby talks to him and like he’s his boy, lol. The cutest. He is our saving grace for many reasons. I moved to Arizona about two years ago to care for my parents and have been doing house cleaning and Odd end job when I don’t have somebody in hospice to care for. I only get 788 from Ssi, pay my part of rent and utilities and car, ins etc. I am struggling since moving.

Trooper is my rescue, my heart, my soul, and my best friend. He came into this world in a traumatic way, developed diabetes at age 4, and cancer at age 9. We are a bonded pair. He helped me through my worst times and now I'm helping him through his. I had to make a tough decision to only do palliative care as he has diabetes. I need help with palliative care treatment for another day together. Trooper was diagnosed with sarcoma in June. He also has cataracts, spondylitis, diabetes, special food and supplements, and pain pills. With his Vetsulin for diabetes along with vet visits, testing, and care it costs $483 per month plus paying off bill at vet, which is over $300. Minnesota Valley Pet Hospital in Mankato, MN is Trooper's vet. Trooper loves life! He loves his walks, his treats, and his snuggle time with mom and his fur brother. His favorite toy is his squeaky tennis ball. He will fetch it and just squeak it. He loves the family, but loves me the most! We are bonded. He isn't the best TV-watcher as he barks at everything lol If I could have Trooper with me for a longer time, I would would be grateful. I would like for him to enjoy life until he can't, but that includes pain meds, vet visits, supplements, etc. I am having trouble affording the $483/month plus backed up vet bills.

Zen I was given from my mother and my sister and brother in law she was the second runt of the litter and unfortunately the runt of the bunch was eaten by the mother and she was most likely next to get eaten so I got her when she was only 10 days Old and I became her mother and she was bottle fed and she would never go anywhere to explore she was glued to me until she was 2 months old Zen was vomiting in the late afternoon on Friday Aug 30th and was continually sick through the next couple of days until I brought her to the emergency clinic in Sunday and after waiting several hours for the doctor to see her they explained that she has a uterus infection and the best and only way to help her is to get her fixed but it's a certain kind of surgery and is very expensive. Zens my best friend and my baby and is an essential part of my immediate family that lives with me and she's important to our other 3 dogs and one of them is her biological brother and if she passes I don't know what I'll do with out her and the rest of my family will be devastated especially her brother honestly I see her as my furry little daughter. I pray that your donations can help heal her. I'm on a fixed income being on disability and the rest of my family is pretty tight on funds we spent everything we had to get her to the clinic and get her checked out but there's nothing else we have to get her the surgery she needs. We need $3100 to get her in surgery

Before my parents packed up an left California to live in Arkansas they had a litter of puppies from there pure breed wimeriners they were all so cute with there big floppy ears and there big blue eyes my mother said that I can pick a pup because I really needed a friend an someone to love and get love back I really needed someone or something to show me loyalty an unconditional love My Weimaraners name is Charlie and he's had a ear yeast infection for as long as I can remember he's only a year and a half and he hasn't even been able to enjoy life yet but his ear infection is making him aggressive which is making everybody in the house feel like we have to walk on eggshells around him so he doesn't attack us he was never like this before it's an emergency He used to give the best cuddles and be the best dog I've ever had everybody loves him so much but here recently they've been talking about having to put him down because we can't afford his ear care vet bill I tried to explain to my family that he's only aggressive because he's in pain but it's like no one is listening I have to try everything before I have to put him down. Here recently my vehicle broke down so I have no transportation to make it to work so I don't have a income or way to pay a 1500 vet bill that's what I got quoted when I took him to the Stanford vet I also try taking him to the vet on Yosemite and they said around $800

Cheech is a sweet pup who is in need of surgery. He is super sweet, playful, joyful, curious, and adventurous. He loves his companions and all his family. Unfortunately for our little family of 5 (my girlfriend and I and our 3 dogs total) we have some hardships in this past year. We are fortunate enough to have come across an amazing team of Vets who have informed us of this resource. We reached out to an Hotline and came across Moonlight Veterinary Urgent Care. The team here has been so Amazing and our doing their best to help us get the help our Pup needs. From when he matured we noticed he only dropped one testicle. Fast forward to 2 days ago, We noticed a severely swollen and bruised like testicle and brought him to the Vet immediately. Cheech loves his life partner Indica and daughter Buffy, his loyal companions. He is a protector of his girls and us his 2 moms. He loves to explore outside and he loves to play. He loves to snuggle and absolutely loves back scratches. He is just the sweetest most Handsome little guy you could ever meet. Homelessness and financial hardship has played a significant role in our recent struggles. We do not want to give up or foster our pups, it’s definitely not an option. My girlfriend and I just recently started working again and are saving a new home.

Tater was rescued from a family that no longer wanted him. He was 10 months old when we got him and the cutest dog ever. He just turned 5. He is a Rat terrier/beagle/dachshund mix. He’s has 3 other fur siblings and loves to play outside with them and his favorite thing is to watch the squirrels Tater was diagnosed with Lymphoma, he’s been dealing with this for months now and needs further testing every few months to make sure the chemo is still doing its job. Tater is the sweetest and most affectionate of all his fur siblings. He loves to give kisses and the best cuddles. He never meets a stranger and always greets me and his Daddy with lots of tail wags and more kisses. Tater is needing help with his further testing for his lymphoma for the next few months. We never thought we would be in this situation and appreciate anything to help him or just a share of his story.

Ace came into my life as a rescue from South Carolina he was a gift for my girlfriend originally but the moment I saw him I fell in love. I’ve had ace since he was 1. He is about 2 now but I feel like it’s been a decade. I was going through a lot of emotional turmoil with losing a sibling and he became the only thing that helped me and my children get through the day Labor Day this you we have a closed in porch but we had some people over and he unfortunately got out while someone was driving past I couldn’t get there fast enough he suffered awful head injury and his skull is in tact but his eye is protruding out of his skull we spent 800 for the emergency visit and medication but the bill to get his eye removed is 3000 and I don’t have it and it kills me Ace is so lively he’s a bit shy to come around at first but he loves to play outside, loves to dress up he plays with my kids and he thinks he’s a big dog even though he’s tiny so he feels he does a great job protecting are home. He’s so feisty and cuddly. Ace loves car rides with the window cracked. He’s fearless and so strong even though he’s been through so much these last couple of days. I was working and then my sister passed and I had no child care to watch my son so I came back for the summer to be there for my family it’s a put me in a financial bind due to me handling those expenses as well. I can’t handle another loss

Jack has been with us for 10 years 3mos. I found him on Facebook and they wanted 40$- that was the best 40$ I’ve ever spent in all my 65 years of living. He is thel best little buddy you could have and he doesnt know a stranger but he will be protective until he deems you suitable to hang out with is fsmily. Just recently these last couple of months he started acting like he wasn’t feeling good We noticed he started peeing inside the house / anywhere -not much but he’d just stand there and dribble some - then i seen some tapeworms around his anus so go him some PetArmor pills to get rid of them- he’s not eating /going on 4 days now does drink some water but mainly just lays on the floor looking so helpless- he hasn’t been to a vet in several years now and I know that’s not fair to him He acts just like he’s a little human and he always thinks you need to pet him when he mosies up to you. We need him to start feeling better- my funds seem to not even get us thru monthly as I get disability and right now my neice and my son are staying with me looking for work but 1500 to survives and pay rent, bills and groceries never leaves any to even put in a emergency fund to have. Any help would be so appreciated-you would forever be in mine and Jack’s heart- This is my first time on here and I've kinda put Ajacks’s story througtout every section there was to tell you all about Jack- he's such a good boy- i just love him to pieces
