Jack has been with us for 10 years 3mos. I found him on Facebook and they wanted 40$- that was the best 40$ I’ve ever spent in all my 65 years of living. He is thel best little buddy you could have and he doesnt know a stranger but he will be protective until he deems you suitable to hang out with is fsmily. Just recently these last couple of months he started acting like he wasn’t feeling good We noticed he started peeing inside the house / anywhere -not much but he’d just stand there and dribble some - then i seen some tapeworms around his anus so go him some PetArmor pills to get rid of them- he’s not eating /going on 4 days now does drink some water but mainly just lays on the floor looking so helpless- he hasn’t been to a vet in several years now and I know that’s not fair to him He acts just like he’s a little human and he always thinks you need to pet him when he mosies up to you. We need him to start feeling better- my funds seem to not even get us thru monthly as I get disability and right now my neice and my son are staying with me looking for work but 1500 to survives and pay rent, bills and groceries never leaves any to even put in a emergency fund to have. Any help would be so appreciated-you would forever be in mine and Jack’s heart- This is my first time on here and I've kinda put Ajacks’s story througtout every section there was to tell you all about Jack- he's such a good boy- i just love him to pieces

Howard

Howard is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Little Rock, AR, who needs $2,000 for Exploratory Surgery for Bowel Obstruction.

Howard is our first baby. We got him in 2014 when we were two young dumb kids in love living on our own in Seattle. Howard made us a family and was an instant fit in our lives. He was part of our wedding and has moved with us all over the country from Seattle to Miami and now to Little Rock. As our young family has grown, Howard has been there making messes with the kids. He is loved by all of us. Howard has had medical dramas since the first week we got him and we've been picking up the tab his entire life. This time he ate a sock and that has created a blockage that he cannot pass. He needs surgery to remove the blockage from his intestines or we will lose him. Howard is like a person. His personality brightens up our days and he literally plays with our 3 year old and watches our 4 month old. We don't know what we would do without him. He is too young to leave us and we want our children to know him for as long as he is can live. I have been pushing through the mortgage industry even through the high price and high interest rate environment. My wife already spent our reserves to open a business this month before Howard's issue. Plus, we have two kids in daycare which is very expensive each month.

It all started 2021 my mom’s 42nd birthday, Roxie came into our life, I came home that evening with my mothers now precious gift to earth. We’ve been with roxie for 3 years of her life, and it’s packed with so much love and joy, she even got to meet my 2 year old little brother that also joined our family in 2022. She’s our joy and our only pet and my little brother’s best friend now! Roxie is currently at her 3rd vet for this holiday weekend, named Liberty Hill Animal Hospital. She needs emergency surgery to save her life as she has an impact which is causing her intestines to twist and back up. Her current condition is deteriorating and with the unknown of when her colon could rip or rupture. I’ve provided the X-RAY to show how large the impacting is. As pictured in the video, Roxie is my little brothers best friend. She also bring the biggest smile to my mothers face and that is her ride or die. Roxie fills the family with laughter. My mom would do anything for Roxie as we’ve applied for CareCredit, Scratchpay, etc. and were denied. She is up endless applying for financial assistance to save Roxie. I am seeking help to save my moms dog. If any assistance is available my family would be extremely grateful. My mother recently lost her job as a single mother and her mother passed away while her dad’s health condition is not well. I can’t lose another loved one. We are struggling financially, please help us.

I told a friend of mine that I was interested in getting a dog, since I had just moved into a duplex alone and had a home to offer. She said she knew a family that was trying to give away a dog because they had 3 and each one was living in individual crates in the garage. We agreed to go and see the puppy, but when I got there they just handed her to me in her crate and said her name is Dutchess. Dutchess was 4 yrs old. As far as I knew, she had never been to the vet. I was with her during her heat cycles, trying to make her comfortable. Recently I noticed a small lump near her lower belly, by her nipple. It started to get larger and harder. She's been diagnosed with a mammalian tumor, and I pray it's not cancerous. I can't afford the testing, removal and getting her fixed all at once. About 3 months after I got Dutchess, I ended up having a heart attack and had to go in for a quadruple bypass. She was very sweet and gentle around me during my 6 weeks of recovery. She has a friend, a male basset hound who lives next door and they love to run and play. If one of them is outside they will bar until the other comes to play. Aside from that, she loves her Daddy and I love her. Ever since my heart surgery, It's been tough paying off medical bills. I work 40 hours a week and with this cost of living rising, being 55 yrs old and having no family and friends for support, It would mean the world if this works and I can insure her a comfortable future.

Bruno

This is Bruno. He’s our 10 year, 3 month old 1/2 golden, 1/2 Sheppard/husky. His mom, Marley, was our shepherd/husky dog, and she mated with naughty next door golden retriever. We’ve had Bruno since literally second one of his life, and we knew immediately we were keeping the pudgy pie. His mom lived to 16, & we know Bruno also has many more years ahead of him if we’re just able to get past this Yesterday, 9/1/24, i noticed Bruno was breathing oddly - fast and short breaths. I took him to Bluepearl ER in Tampa, and after some tests and X-rays, he was diagnosed with a spontaneous pneumothorax. Our options are a 15k surgery (recommended) or we can try a blood patch pleurodesis (1/2 the cost of surgery if the first one takes). We obviously want the best for him, but it comes down to finances Gosh I don’t even know how to put him into words. Bruno is truly the sweetest, gentlest, most loving dog we’ve ever had. He loves ball, his brother Louie, but above all - snuggles with us. He’s made our lives exponentially better in so many ways, and we’re not ready to say goodbye to him. Especially our son - Bruno is all he’s known for 10 out of the 14 years of his life. We can’t let him go yet Just prior to this happening, my husband lost his job on 8/7/24, which is what brings us here. All of this is awful, unlucky timing. Had he not lost his job, Bruno would’ve had the surgery yesterday. This has crippled us. We are asking for help form the bottom of our hearts

Zoe came to us in October 2018. She was always the sweetest most loving dog I have ever had. We have her hypo triglyceride anemia in control. Her diabetes is a work in progress and her blindness needs surgery to help her be back to a normal happy. After everything she has done for me it’s the least I can do is give her back her sight. Zoe was diagnosed with diabetes, hypo triglyceride anemia, and idiopathic encephalitis. In march we had to admit her to MSU vet hospital. To have them Get her numbers normal, that was a $6000 hospital stay. We are still paying about $500 for her home medication and that once a month for her to go in for her chemo at $4-$500 We were good until about we found out she is blind surgery is $6000 Zoe has become my best friend. She can sense when my heart rate is too high, she lays on my chest when I’m anxious or having a panic attack. So not only is she my families baby, but she helps me through my medical conditions. She stays with me during good and bad days like she was trained. But she has not been. She helps me without any service dog training. My baby has had a rough 6 months. But she is doing so well with the meds and chemo. But unfortunately with all of her other costs coming up with another $6000 is going to take us forever and she is already blind. I want to give her back her eyesight so she can be happy.

We had Harlie since she was 8 weeks old. My husband just lost his mom around the time Harlie fell into our laps. My husband is a Navy Vet and he got ptsd from it. With having Harlie she helped him through so much. We have other pets as well. She is close to Bella her lab sister and her brother Rex who is a lab as well. She loves to play and run. Recently we got an outbreak of fleas and we did our best to make sure those was treated, but then we later found out they all got worms. We went and got several packages of pet armor to treat them, but it seems like it isn’t working with Harlie. She isn’t playful like she used to be and isn’t eating or drinking much. We’ve been by her side doing what we can Harlie is a very special dog. She’s my husbands dog because she helps comfort him when he has his ptsd and when he has bad anxiety. She really brings out the best in all of us. All our pets do they’re like family My dad recently passed away and we helped pay for his funeral expenses since he was unable to get insurance for a preexisting condition. I have been looking for work, the only income we have is my husbands. Getting Harlie back healthy again would really mean a lot to him

Bentley is a 8 month old puppy who has been a beloved member of our family since January 2024. He was a gift from my family member. He is a French bulldog with a vibrant personality and a love for playing fetch, curling up on the couch. Recently, Bentley had a serious accident that resulted in a broken leg. He jumped from a chair, and landed badly when I was in the bathroom. He is not able to walk, eat by himself. He looks very sad and he screams painfully when he tries to move or lay down. Bentley is such a loving and playful puppy. We play fighting together all the time and he loves running around with my daughter. We make sure that our dogs get well taken cared of and feel loved under our home. They are Gods gift to us. The bill for this leg surgery is a full total of 2-3k. Rescue Garage Rescue Garage’s main focus is to pull animals from area shelters and rescues that have animals on the euthanasia list that we take in and get adopted out to good families. Usually, these are animals that have medical needs or been there too long or various other situations. These animals usually have larger expenses and with veterinary expenses increasing all the time we have a significant amount of medical expenses on an ongoing basis. However, we also have a Forever Foster / Fospice program that is near and dear to us. Typically, these dogs require ongoing supportive care, that may include more frequent vet visits, medications and may have other special needs. They often have need for a unique caregiver and comfortable space to live out the remainder of their lives. Mission The mission of Rescue Garage is to rescue, rehabilitate, retrain and rehome vulnerable and at risk dogs and provide educational tools and support, community outreach programs, and advocate on behalf of stable pet ownership and animal welfare issues.
