Boo is my service dog that assists me because I am hearing impaired. I have had her for 3 1/2years and she continues to assist me with remaining independent in my home. My adult daughter and I live with Boo in our home. Boo has elevated liver enzymes. A liver biopsy must be performed to determine diagnosis and determine what condition needs to be treated. At this time, it is unknown what is causing her elevated enzymes. Boo brings so much joy to my life. She is a spitfire who is always happy and animated. Boo alerts me to sounds and brings things to my attention at home due to me being deaf. She is also an important emotional support for both me and my daughter. I am disabled and live on a fixed income. I manage all of Boo's care on my own but the biopsy needed is out of reach for me financially. She has had other testing and an ultrasound completed already.

Sushi came to us when we were going through a very hard time. Her dad and me had gone on vacation to get away from life a bit. Our first stop was in Frankfort, about 5/6 hrs out. That’s where we met Sushi. She was staying at a motel and her previous owners couldn’t keep her anymore. They were staying in room 111 I will never forget that. God and his angels literally brought her to our life. Just how God brought her into our life, He truly was with her last night, I had ran to the store and I assume she tried to follow me. When I arrived back literally no later than 10/15 minutes and she was gone. We were looking all over for her when we were informed she got hit by a car. We are blessed she is still alive but needs urgent hip surgery; they are estimating 3k to 7k. Sushi is a unique soul Truly no other dog like her She extremely attached to her father and I She literally has to come with us everywhere. She gets attention from everyone Anyone who meets her immediately falls in love. Sushi is a baby, she loves to swaddled after bath time. She even attempts to speak with us with her little squeaks and squeals. Our baby knows we needed her more than she needs us Sushi needs this surgery to get her left hip back into place. We covered $2500 for the emergency vet visit, but the surgery alone is 3k to 7k and we do not have that kind of money. We are still looking for a provider who can help us or provide more economical options.

Sophia

Sophia was gifted to me when she was 4 months old, she has been part of my family since. We have a second french bulldog names Bronco. Both of our dogs are friendly and love to play with each other and my kids. Sophia has a raptured disc which is causing pain due to pressure on either the spinal cord or the nerves coming out of the spinal cord making her go paralyzed. Sophia is being treated for IVDD or intervertebral disc disease. She is needing immediate surgery. Sophia is super friendly, playful and loving. She loved to cuddle and play fetch. She loved to be fed snacks by responding to commands such as sit, shake my hand or give me high five. Sophia has been an emotional support animal to me since the day she was given to me. She follows me everywhere and shows me love. I want Sophia is my baby and I'm desperately seeking help to get what she needs and give her the second chance that she deserves.

Bailey

A neighbor was giving her away and nobody else would take her so I felt like we would be a good fit for her even though we had absolutely no plans to get another pet anytime soon Bailey came to join our family 2 months ago, we quickly noticed that she had two lumps on her. One of the lumps continued to grow and irritate her so we took her in. After taking her and having it tested the vet told us that she has a mastic tumor that needs to be removed. Bailey belongs to two of my daughters but has stolen the hearts of our entire family. She is a very happy and energetic dog that loves life and people. She is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met and we are absolutely in love with her We are a family of seven and we live just barely within our means. We also have one child graduating and moving out this year, and recently have had financial obligations that really have not left us with much extra. To get the tumors removed, it will cost over $1000

Slate is fighting for his life. He is loved by so many and is the bestest boy I have ever had. He brings so much love and joy to our lives. I have exhausted all possible financial possibilities. There are a few options left that the Vets want to try. I am begging for help/donations to continue to fight for answers and save his life. His family will be LOST without him. Since he was 6 weeks old he has been the center of love and loyalty in our family. He is extremely obedient, loving, intelligent, and funny. He only wants to make everyone proud and know he is our dude. Slate has helped us get through very dark times with unconditional emotional support. He is always been so strong. Even know as sick as he is, he wants to be with his people. Slate is a tad spoiled, he has had to sleep with his kids since he was a baby. He cries when we leave for even 5 minutes. He wants to be with us, everywhere we are. Slate is very vocal and absolutely will tell you what he thinks. He is so funny! He loves to give high 5s, sunbath, swim with us, go on car rides, and just be in everyone's business. In January he started losing weight, vomiting, not eating, and very depressed. I have had numerous vets helping him. We have run tests but still have more possibilities that could save his life. He is under the care of Dr. Clark at Woodland West I have maxed out all possible forms of payment. I am trying to do anything I can to save him. He is absolutely worth this fight. I know we are close to a positive outcome but also at a financial crossroads. I am begging for help for him.

Snickers

Snickers came into my life as a sweet 8-week-old puppy in 2011. He rescued me from an abusive relationship and immediately became my best friend! We named him after the Snickers bar because of all his colors in his fur, and this was my favorite candy bar. My children and I immediately fell in love with him and take him everywhere with us. Most places don't care because he's so sweet and gentle. Snickers is a sweet boy who loves everyone he meets. He makes friends easily, and just loves to cuddle every chance we get. He loves to give kisses and will never turn down a treat. We go for walks 2 times a day when all the other dogs are on their walks, and Snickers has to stop and say hi to everyone we see. He even gives me his sad face to give other dogs treats and sits there until I do. Snickers is petrified of thunder and cuddles under the blanket with me. His eyes get so big like he saw a ghost. He loves those key words, "Bath, car, bye-bye" and especially loves to go for rides and hang his head out the window. when we get to the groomers parking lot, he starts whining because he knows he's going to get a bath, which is one of his favorite things to do. He loves the attention! Snicker was diagnosed with periodontal disease last year and had 12 teeth extracted. He is needing another cleaning and extractions again this year. His care is at the Dumb Friends League Veterinary Hospital, CSU Spur Campus. I live to paycheck and sudden expenses like these have to go on a credit card, which I had to max out for my other dog, Marley's surgery and ER bills. Marley has passed away; however, I'm still paying these bills and I do not have any other means to pay for Snickers care.

Leptospirosis is a blood infection caused by the bacteria Leptospira[8] that can infect humans, dogs, rodents and many other wild and domesticated animals.[8] Signs and symptoms can range from none to mild (headaches, muscle pains, and fevers) to severe (bleeding in the lungs or meningitis). We are currently operating a home based cleaning business that is in the process of growing which has put us in a less than able position to pay for the costs of his treatments. Just getting him admitted cost us $7,200 which we were able to finance.

Willow came into my life after many years of wishing and waiting as my birthday present this year. She immediately stole my heart 💜 and has been the perfect addition to our family. She has quickly adapted to her new family and refuses to accept that she’s the smallest in the house or the baby of the pack. Willow is a tough cookie and she definitely keeps up with the rest of us! Willow is a loving little ball of velvet wrinkly energy 💜. She is so smart and so quick to learn new tricks and commands. Her fiery personality is so adorable and her loving energy is contagious. Unfortunately, her big personality and fearless spirit has recently brought on an awful injury. While playing with her big sisters, one of them toppled onto her and her front left leg was broken at the elbow. After being reviewed by her vet, it was revealed that she would require orthopedic surgery by a specialist. It has been difficult to find someone certified to perform the procedure until now. Due to the specialized nature of the orthopedic surgery, she will be seen at the UF Veterinary Hospital. The only other specialist was two hours away. It is estimated that this will be $3500 and is completely unexpected. At this time, I do not have a way to cover these costs

Dillon

Dillon is a 15-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi in Corvallis, OR, who needs $1,000 for Oral Surgery with Anesthesia due to Complex Medical Requirements.

Dillon & I met in December 2007, when he was nearly 12 weeks old. He nearly busted through the breeder's front door trying to get to me & pushed his sisters away from me for the entire visit. One puppy kiss & I was immediately in love, too. He lives with me and 3 elderly cats (17, 16 & 16 yrs old) in Corvallis, OR, 90 miles south of Portland. For much of his life, Dillon was a farm dog. He directed the horses, helped me with the goat milking, rounded up the ducks & chickens at the end of the day, & oversaw all yardwork. He loved being in the local 4th of July parade each year. Dillon & his 3 cats moved to town with me in 2018. At nearly 16 yrs old, he moves slower but still supervises my every move. He's stil my happy Corgi prince. Dillon has the famous Corgi smile, which he shares with everyone he meets. He is very close to the cats & often shares his bed with one or all of them. Dilly is convinced that the COVID-19 pandemic was my way of ensuring he could supervise me 24/7, get belly rubs on demand & protect me from the delivery drivers who routinely knock on the door. Dillon has a bad tooth that caused infection in a gland that sits just below the eye. He's old & has a very complex medical history (collapsing trachea, history of septic infection) so needs oral surgery with anesthesia (not regular sedation). A Dental Clinic located about 80 mi away from our home is one of the only places in the state able to help him. In the past 3 yrs, Dillon needed specialty ICU care & CT scans from the OSU Vet School clinic 3 times, costing abt $12K. I've had 5 surgeries in that same time so have high medical bills too. My credit cards are maxed, I can't borrow any more $ and now need to ask for help.
