Austin, TX

Brisket, our 5-month-old Labrador Retriever, started as a foster dog but stole our hearts in just three days. We've had him for three months now. When adopting, we knew about his leg injury but didn't realize the extent of his medical needs. Despite his condition, Brisket is a loving, energetic puppy who has brought immense joy to our lives in this short time. Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital recommends an ulnar ostectomy now, with possible future surgeries to correct the deformity as he grows. Brisket is a loving puppy who brings joy to our family daily. He's known for his enthusiastic cuddles and endless kisses - for us and his furry friends! His favorite activity was visiting the dog park, bounding around and greeting other dogs playfully. Sadly, his worsening condition now prevents him from enjoying these outings. Despite the pain, Brisket's loving nature remains unchanged, making hi We adopted Brisket with a leg injury, expecting the shelter to cover costs. Now he needs $6,000 in surgeries they can't fund. We love him and want him healthy, but can't afford it. Your help would mean everything - giving Brisket a pain-free, active life.
