Tobias (whose nicknames are Toby and Bear) as found as a kitten outside of Baylor Scott & White Heart Hospital in Plano on a particularly hard night when we were visiting my mother in law. It was a team effort on mine and my husbands part to get him, and we managed to do it successfully as I told him where I heard the little "meow!"s from and he located Toby in the bushes and caught him. ♡ If you watch the video I've attached, you'll see the distress he was in and how urgently he needed care. He's had a urinary blockage previously (years ago) and we were worried it had occurred again, and sure enough, it had. He was growling when meowing which indicated to me that he was in pain. We took him to BluePearl pet hospital in Mesquite, TX for immediate treatment. Toby is incredibly special to me because he came into my life the month I would've delivered our baby had I not miscarried. Nothing could replace my baby, and Toby was and has since been there for me in ways I'd never be able to ask anyone for. He's been there for my highest highs and my lowest lows. He "talks" to me (meows at me), let's me know when he needs pets/hugs/kisses, he's just the best. My husband was out of a job for nearly a year, and thankfully he'd taken another job in March; we're getting caught up on things that we'd fallen behind on while down to one income (expenses we'd put on credit cards) and this necessary expense will only push us further back.

Quin

Quin is our 6 year old Husky, raised since he was 3 months old. He lives with me, his dad, our older dog Nicco, and baby sister Avia. He's loving, talkative, and the heart of our family. He was suddenly hospitalized with spontaneous pneumothorax and may need surgery. We're doing everything we can to save him. Quin was rushed to VCA Animal Hospital after suddenly struggling to breathe. He was diagnosed with spontaneous pneumothorax, a life-threatening condition that can more commonly happen to Huskys and unfortunately it is happening to Quin. He's currently hospitalized and being closely monitored. Surgery may be needed to repair his lung and give him a chance at recovery. Quin is quirky and full of personality. He loves treats but is very picky with food. He "talks" like a true Husky and enjoys snuggling and adventures with his fur brother Nicco. He's gentle and especially sweet with our baby Avia. Quin is the heart of our home and brings joy to all who meet him. Quin's care and surgery at VCA Animal Hospital is extremely costly. This is our baby izzy-kins ( Izzy) I originally got her brother rufus as a birthday gift from my father back in 2014, my younger sister saw rufus and fell in love and wanted a puppy just like him and thus izzy joined our family -over the years my sisters have had izzy but the last 2 years i have taken her in to be queen of our nest, she is so loving and not only mine but my sons best friend. She's has always been a healthy pup and tough as nails, she has a lipoma on her left shoulder, but her main health concern is his dislodged right hip. She loves play fighting, belly pats and tucking herself in between you legs under a warm cozy blanket. Her favorite treat is anything food related LOL. the cuddles and love she provides is none other than that of an angel sent directly to us. We love our izzy-kins and it pains us to see her struggling and not her usual happy go lucky self. About 2 weeks ago she took a major spill from our stairs and dislodged her hip -We completed a closed reduction, but her hip has now dislodged again-the Vet is now recommending FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) surgery instead of another reduction in fear it will happen again.

My boyfriend and I have been together 5 years now and tank is 6 he refused him from someone trying to make him a fighting dog, he has suffered severe abuse and heartache the first 8 months of his life. These bad people even shot him in the head trying to put him down after they made him fight his brother, my boyfriend took him from them the day he was shot and survived. He is loyal and loving 🐾🐕 He has a severe hematoma on his right ear, holds his head side ways and shakes it constantly, so worried he may loose his hearing. He has severe skin allergies and his fur is white, he is and amazing animal, exceptional best friend and his has loyalty and love to afault he's so special to us Tank is always there when someone in our home is in emotional support, or in pain or just down right depressed he can always tell and is always there. He loves his sister doggie and three kittens in the family as well. He protects us with all his heart and soul. He's definitely a blessing god sent our way. We recently received custody of my bfs son his 14 and we only have one income because I'm disabled can't work and still fighting for disability, we struggle to pay for everything including our own food for ourselves. But our animals are always feed even before us sometimes,

She’s a very loving and playful pup who loves all things She wasn’t feeling to well this morning when we woke up she was very weak and kept throwing up so we brought her to the vet, and sadly we figured out she has parvo and if she doesn’t get her treatment she could sadly pass away. Judith helps me out a lot, i suffer with depression and anxiety and she’s always here for me she’s never to tired to let me lay and cry on her or for me to even have conversations with her I don’t make enough money I live paycheck to paycheck and with this being so sudden I didn’t have time or back up plan to take care of her needs financially

Cayn was rescued from a shelter in 2018. He came from the floods in Texas. He has one brown eye and one blue eye. He has at least 27 nicknames, and lives with me, Rachael. I swore to always protect him. Cayn is currently hospitalized at Pinnacle Veterinary Specialists. He is currently suffering through Severe Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis. This sickness often comes on abruptly with no known cause, and treatment cost is in the thousands due to IV hydration and ultrasound care to get it under control. He is my baby. I would sell my arm if I could. My pet is special because he literally “talks” to us whenever he needs something. He is so sweet, gives kisses and makes friends with the tiniest dogs. He is a very smart boy and even rings a bell when he has to go potty. My dog is my whole heart. Having him healthy again would be priceless. The funds will be used for his ultrasound and ongoing medical care. Financially this huge bill will be a major burden due to job uncertainty unless we get help. I am putting my pride aside. Please help.

My pet was introduced to our family at the same time as my new born was. Against everyone’s concerns and wishes I still got the dog because I always wanted one. My friend had just had some puppies and with the new baby. I thought it would be cute for them to grow up together. We were going to name him mufasa but we changed it last minute because Rafiki sounded more like a fitting name for him. Right now he’s at Craig vet hospital. He staying there until I can get the money to get him out. He had to go in for his surgery. The break was too major to wait. It was a spiral fracture. He go the injury by playing with me outside at our dog park. I was holding the rope in the air. He was jumping and grabbing it. When he came down from trying to jump for the rope he landed on the leg wrong. Rafiki is such a young and playful dog. We have a really old cat that he lets mess with him. He’s never ate any of mine or my 3 kids things. Surprisingly, also plays with the baby and the kids so well. He destroys and chew toy you give him and learned how to catch at the door so fast. He stays in his gate and doesn’t bark. He’s the best pet our family could ask for. We’re begging for help. With his pet exam fees, X-rays, cast and medication. We used our rent 1700 to pay for the beginning of all his cost and treatments. Now we are trying to find a way to keep going. Trying to get loans and whatever we can do to outlast this storm.

Lupin was born as a litter of just two. To my rescue kitty Alister aka Ally Star, aka Alister. She's never hissed at anyone a day in her life. Never bit anyone and is normally always smiling. Lupin was recently hit by a car. She was urinating blood and sustained a bad limp in her right hind paw. Upon taking her to a vet, vca animal hospital in lawndale, they said they wouldn't help her without payment. Even though the number was given to us via homeless resources. Due to us beng illegally evicted in march. Upon picking her up, she was in considerably worse shape than when admitted. My kitty Lupin is wonderful. Always smiling, purring and nuzzling and she essentially potty trained herself. Never going potty anywhere besides her litter boxes. She even let her big brother eat the end of her food every single time. She knows when someone is sad or upset, and flocks to them with comforting purrs and nuzzles to help them feel better. Even strangers. Due to having been evicted illegally, without any notice, we've spent our whole savings on motel fees to stay off the street. It would mean the absolute world to us to see lupin having gotten proper medical care and, feeling like her old self again. Chipper and energetic.

Kerrie is a 8 year old Maremma Sheepdog in Pickerington, OH, who needs $1,500 for Paw Surgery.

Kerrie came into our life on 7/8/25 when my daughter found her outside our yard panting very heavily. We saw Kerrie was very dirty and was wheezing from being overheated. We immediately got her water and cool towels for her paws. Luckily, we found her original owner an hour later and she lived two houses down. Her owner was elderly and sick and left Kerrie outside day and night. We started helping Kerrie came to us with a large papilloma on her front paw that made her limp. We were told this growth has been there for over 3 years. It does not hurt Kerrie but makes it hard for her to walk. We took her to Pickerington Animal Hospital in Pickerington OH and scheduled her to get this removed. Her recovery will take at least two weeks, and she will be limited on how much she walks. Kerrie has been sweet from day one. I think she was meant to be found by us as we are huge dog people. She took some time to warm up to use but she loves to get her head and nose scratched. Kerrie gets along with our kids, other family members and has started mothing our 1-year-old dog. Kerrie is a 100 pound Maremma (cousin to great pyrenes dogs) and was not an expense we were expecting. She is on a special diet food because she is overweight, is on joint supplements and will be getting this surgery. This does not account for yearly vaccines and grooming.
