Marley Bob had 5 different owners before he had turned a year old. Passed from home to home, he was just looking to be loved. As a junior in college, I took over ownership and built an incredible bond with Mar. He fell in love with visiting my family (mostly his grammy), walking around my college campus, and being spoiled with toys! He’s always been a happy, healthy boy. On January 2nd, 2025 Marley was diagnosed with IVDD. We brought him to the emergency vet where they were able to quickly get him back on track. On January 28th, 2025 we woke up to Marley being unable to walk and in worse pain than the first time. We brought him back to the vet where they had provided pain medication and further advice. Now we need your help to get Marley laser therapy treatment. Marley shares a special bond with his dog brother, Kobe. They love to spend time together sun bathing, going for car rides, and running in circles around the couch. Marley also loves to give hugs to his humans as he stares into their eyes. He has been told many times by friends and family that he is an emotional healer and likes to hear he’s a “good boy”. With the sudden progression of his injury, we need help getting our good boy back to being his normal self again. IVDD is more likely to reoccur once a dog has had it before. Laser therapy will help Marley walk without back pain by reducing inflammation and repair tissues.

Cybil is a 3 year old Great Dane in Buena Vista, VA, who needs $1,600 for Surgical Toe Amputation on the Back Left Paw.

I got Cybil as a surprise Mothers Day gift in 2021. She was the runt of the litter and the last one left. She was born with a condition called Mega Esophugus, no one was willing to take on that challenge. I fell in love with her immediately. She thrived once we figured out feeding and necessary routines. Currently, we have been told that a broken toe she got as a puppy never healed properly and shows signs of having had a chronic bone infection in it. We are facing toe amputation with her being high risk for, if not already, cancer. Cybil is my angel i never knew i needed. She is the 1st Dane i have ever owned and has made me fall in love with the breed. She has 1 sister and 3 brothers of all different breeds and she rules them all. She is truly one of our kids with her diva ways, demanding attention and funny personality. The bill for the procedure itself is est $1350-$1600. This is unexpected and as always, bad timing since we dont have emergency funds put aside. Ive never asked for help in this fashion but humbled for my pup's sake as i dont want this to get worse.

We got Nellie in Kentucky when she was 8 weeks old, for my son who is adhd and has anxiety. We love her so much and she is such a big part of our family, she has a sister that is 3 and an australian shepherd brother who is 3 as well that we rescued in 2023. Nellie loves car rides and being outside with the other 2 dogs she loves to play and be lazy in your lap and give you lots of kisses. Nellie has always been a very healthy and friendly pup, just in the last year we have noticed lameness in her rear legs, we have taken her to Village Vet in Maryville and they diagnosed her with her knee problems with both her knees have an ACL tear. Nellie is such a great girl she loves everyone and her best friend that she grew up with is her now 10 year-old brother they always sleep together every night and she makes sure he is protected. She loves to play with her furry siblings and will lay in anyone's lap to get some petting and give away her kisses to anyone who will let her Our situation has changed because my husband has had a huge change in his pay, he has been in car sales for 5 years. Our pets are like our kids and to see her not able to live her best life a just be happy with her furry sister and brother and with us.

Me and my husband wanted to get a dog for our son. So we started looking on KSL and we came across our brownie girl, and just immediately fell in love with her. We call her brown brown or brownie girl. So we went and saw her and just said yes as soon as we saw her. We just love her so much. She’s so sweet and gentle. And absolutely adores our son. They are the best of friends. We just love her! Around New Year’s Eve we started noticing that brownie’s eating was going downhill. She started getting very skinny, too skinny to walk even. So we took her millcreek veterinarian hospital. And she had ingested a rag of some sorts and it had balled up in her intestines. They took out the rag and stitched her up. Lake adores my son so much! She has a sister we call her the baby hippo. She is a half blue heeler and pit bull. She’s very gentle around everyone she meets. Such a love bug. I had knee surgery a few months back and haven’t been working. I’m still recovering from my divorce. Times are tough. My surgery really cleaned me out. Times are tough.

We rescued Arlo three months ago under heartbreaking circumstances. He was being sold outside a Walmart by his previous owner, and since he was one of the last puppies left, they were planning to throw him in the dumpster. Thankfully, friends of ours stepped in and saved him just in time, and we were lucky enough to bring him into our home. Arlo, our sweet 4-month-old pug, recently fractured his elbow after jumping off the couch. We took him to VCA Animal Hospital, where the vet confirmed that he needs surgery to heal properly. Without it, he may have permanent issues with his leg. As a college student, I can't afford the cost, and I’m asking for help to give Arlo the care he desperately needs to walk and play again. Arlo is the sweetest, most playful puppy. He’s full of energy, loves snuggling, and follows me everywhere I go. Even at the vet, despite the pain from his injury, he was still licking the doctor, showing his loving nature. He’s brought so much joy and light into my life, and I want to give him the chance to heal and keep spreading that happiness. He truly deserves a pain-free life. As a first-generation college student working two jobs, I wasn’t prepared for Arlo’s sudden injury and the cost of his surgery. It’s been overwhelming. Having him healthy again would mean the world to me. Any support would give him a chance at a happy life.

Simba, my amazing, sweet angel of a pup, came into my life in 2020. I decided to gift myself the best birthday present that year. Simba gave me life and joy again. Unfortunately, as Simba started to grow, he became severely allergic to his environment/food. He has severe atopic dermatitis that has completely destroyed his immune system. He has lost such much fur and weight. Vet - red fox inst Unfortunately this is a lifelong, chronic medical situation. Multiple vets have told me he would be suffering for the rest of his life, it’s just a matter of how comfortable we can make him. I as well am going through my own health issues and do not have the financial support to take care of myself and my baby Simba. He also has a stage 3/4 heart murmur. He’s been seeing a naturopathic vet. My pet Simba is the most special animal I have ever met. He is the most well behaved, gentle, sweet loving, pitbull you could ever meet. Simba is the best emotional support animal. The joy Simba has brought me and others is priceless and it absolutely kills me to see his health decline so rapidly and for his own joy to be taken away. He is still a happy guy, but he completely lost his spark/energ Unfortunately, my job has let me go after offering me short term disability. Hi, my name is Angelika and I am Snoopy's auntie. My brother adopted/rescued snoopy when he was 4 months. Since then, he has been the joy of their house. They live in a second floor but that does not stop Snoopy from having fun by running all over the house and play with every single toy around. Snoopy has always get very excited everytime my brother gets home from work. He would run up to the balcony to bark and say hello and then run back to the stairs o meet my brother ay the door. Unfortunately, this time, Snoopy fell from our balcony while greeting my brother as usual. We believe that he slipped. We took him to Vet ER (Newton Veterinary Specialist Hospital) right away. Snoopy loves outdoor activities like being at the park and play catch. He also loves when his sister (my niece) Em takes him out for a walk. He loves when hos cousins (my kids and my sisters) visit. He always welcome every single one of us by jumping a lot and barking and bringing every toy he finds. He is the best with kids and with everyone overall, the best loving dog. My brother has always had dogs in the past when he was a kid. Him and his wife cannot conceive a baby and they decided to adopt a dog. They immediately fell in love with Snoopy but definitely did not count on something like that would happen so fast. They live by paychecks.

“My name is Olive, and I was a rescue after my previous owner passed away from Covid. I am now a trained service dog for my mom, who has Mast Cells Activation Syndrome. She can go into anaphylactic shock without warning, and I have already saved my mom’s life twice, by bringing her her epi pens. I am her official cheerleader at the gym, watching her work hard to rebuild and heal her body.” The duct between Olive’s liver and gallbladder is partially blocked, making her high risk to have a fatal obstruction. Olive needs to have her gallbladder removed immediately, and her surgery is scheduled for later this week. It is inevitable that the duct will become obstructed if left untreated. Her vet is confident that she will thrive after this surgery and has many more years to love and live Olive loves to play fetch with her favorite squeaky toys and burrow under the covers to cuddle. She trots around the neighborhood with her 3” legs on her daily walks, which helps her mom get outside for fresh air and exercise. Olive brings pure love and joy to the people she interacts with on a daily basis, while supporting mom with her ongoing recovery. This is a vet bill that far surpasses Olive’s emergency savings fund. Olive is a healthy dog and her speciality vet is confident she will thrive after this life saving surgery. We ask for, and appreciate, any contribution for Miss Olive.
