Farore

Farore is a 14 year old Mix-Breed in Newburgh, NY, who needs $2,000 for SRT (radiation).

Farore was born in my childhood bedroom, one of three kittens to a feral and abused cat I trapped in my neighborhood. She was a spitfire from the beginning, always getting into trouble with her two sisters, Din and Nayru. When they were old enough to wean, the kittens were brought to the cat shelter I worked at at the time to be adopted out - but Farore fell ill, and so she came back home with me. Farore has had a rough go at life, surviving a 107.5 fever of unknown origin as a kitten, a foreign body procedure in 2024 (after she ate an IV line left in at her veterinarian's office overnight), and most recently nasal issues. A CT scan and rhinoscopy at Guardian Veterinary Specialists were pursued and the results showed nasal lymphoma. Farore has lived with her brother and sister (from another mister) her whole life. The three can often be found in a pile together, on their electric blanket or in the sun. The last year has involved enormous strain as far as vet bills, with Farore's sister having a cancer scare and concerns about her brother's small cell lymphoma having come out of remission. I am currently 11k in debt from vet bills and climbing.

London is a 7 year old Golden Retriever in Howell, NJ, who needs $2,000 for TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy).

London and her brother, Guinness, are littermates with an unbreakable bond. Their previous owner could no longer care for them and planned to take them to a shelter. We became their last hope and couldn’t bear to see them separated. London is the more gentle, affectionate one, always looking out for Guinness. She’s been family ever since. London has torn ligaments in her back leg, making it painful for her to walk or play. The vet has recommended surgery with metal plates to restore her mobility. Without it, her condition will worsen. She wants to keep up with Guinness, but pain holds her back. We’re working with Howell Animal Hospital to get her the help she needs, but we can’t do it alone. London is a sweet, loving soul who always looks out for her brother. She’s full of love, from her happy tail wags to her playful “talking.” She and Guinness are inseparable, and her struggles have affected him too. Seeing her unable to run or play is heartbreaking. This surgery will give her back her freedom—and their happiness together. London’s surgery, recovery, and rehab are costly, and we can’t manage them alone. Ace

Ace is a 5 year old Siberian Husky in Cato, NY, who needs $2,000 for CHOP Chemotherapy.

My boyfriend got Ace from a young couple who sold him at 4 months old. He’s a Siberian husky who is now 5. Ace is usually a rambunctious, full of energy boy who loved running around and loves to talk back. Unfortunately he’s not himself anymore. He stopped eating for awhile, started vomiting and doesn’t move anymore and lost a lot of weight. He has Lymphoma and is going through chemo. He is going through the CHOP treatment at VCA Colonial Animal Hospital with Dr. Rassnick. He is taking Cerenia, TMP/SMZ, Metronidazole, and Prednisone to get his Lymphoma under control. So far it has been doing wonders and we’d love to be able to continue getting Ace back to his old self. Ace is a very communicative, joyful boy who doesn’t have one mean bone in his body. He is very playful and loves to play with everyone and any other pets around him. He is also one hell of an escape artist. Ace has sparked joy in everyone that has come in contact with him and brings light to everyone that room he walks into. My boyfriend and I both work at jobs that aren’t high paying. His job has been very inconsistent with giving him hours due to issues out of his control. This sudden diagnosis has struck us at a very hard time, but Ace is our baby and we can’t imagine life without him.

Hello. My name is Angela and I am Muffin’s mom. Muffy came into my life almost 2.5 years ago. It was totally unexpected, my mother wanted a kitten and we both decided to take the plunge agreeing to go half on his care and upbringing. That fell short soon, I was left ultimately with muffy’s care which I didn’t mind at all. Muffy has been the biggest blessing I never knew I was in need for. In December muffin couldn’t move his lower half and was in excruciating pain. He cried and had the loudest meows I never heard. I took him into Northpoint Animal hostipal in Fresno where he was examined, had lab work, and immediately was diagnosed with FATE. I cried like I never have in my life, even more when the dr told me it was either a blood thiinner or euthanization. I chose medication. He is so kind! He is loving and such a cuddler. He truly is and I believe he knows he is a baby. He has brought me nothing but joy, happiness & the most unconditional love I have ever felt in my life. He loves the camera! He’s such a ham! He loves ballon’s Toys, and nice cuddly soft blankys where he enjoys making biscuits. He is very friendly and has always been open and kind to anyone he meets Currently I do IHSS for my father. Both my parents are in poor health so I take care of them because they are my life. hospital visits and medications have put a huge financial strain. I am extremely stressed and sad that I cannot do more for him.. He means the world to me

Dolly was the biggest & 1st of 11, born April 2021 to a great mama Xena. She & her mama almost didn't live so when she did I had to keep her. She has always been adventurous loving the outdoors, not afraid of anything. She fit into our pack & keeps things lively. We are all inseparable. We used to live on 10 acres, but now in a RV on 5 acres, always happy and silly. I can't imagine us without her. She was hit by a car 3 years ago, I looked everywhere for her. I got a response from my online search, was told she was injured & taken to the pound. When I went for her. They took x-rays said nothing was broke it would take some time to heal, she healed & now has done something to hurt it & she's in pain & unable to use her leg. I hate seeing the pain she's in. She's so crazy silly, has to be touching me or cuddling to our pack members all the time. She's very shy to strangers, but would never hurt anybody. As a pack we walk twice a day & she explores everything. When I do my whistle she comes. She pounces like a cat when she plays & hunts small animals. There's no other like her. Can't imagine her not in our lives. I myself was seriously injured last year and can't work. I can't even get a vet to see her without the money. I need so much to get help, I can't stand seeing her in pain. Even if they have to take her leg, she'll be ok & out of pain.

Bruno was born from our other dog Petunia, he is the youngest out of three other full bred frenchies! Bruno has been facing both laziness and anger when he feels jealous sadly, he lives with now two other dogs, his sister and his dad, his mom had just moved out with his auntie but she comes and visits almost every weekend so they always have fun! This little guy is a ball of sunshine yet rain! Bruno ever since he was born has faced respiratory issues where he had grown a thick layer of skin inside his throat to where he has to take much longer in order to breath, with this he is unable to play for a long while the maximum he can play is around 5 minutes until he is huffing and puffing to where he has to lay down and rest for a while, he spends most time sleeping but faces sleeping isses Bruno is a special guy, he takes his time in the kitchen making it known that he is there with his snorts and purrs when he sees people in there, when he meets other friends of the owners he is all over them and is all excited when meeting new people, he lays on them until they move him as he feels happiest with them! He is so special but is a very jealous guy especially when it comes to food! We have been facing financial issues for a while now, put on disability while paying for both a child and three dogs, we had adopted our first two and they had given us a blessing of three new puppies! Bruno deserves the chance to run and play with his family without issues!

Garry came into our life when our youngest wanted a cat, and so we bought Garry. He quickly became loved by our other two children and became a loved member of our family. He always comforted us. Now he is an inseparable part of us. For the past couple of months, Garry has been sick and is having difficulty breathing and has a lump on his nose. He sneezes a lot and can't be like he used to. He has a odd growth on his nose that is like a bump. He sneezes often as there is something obstructing him from breathing clearly. There is a wheezing sound as he inhales and exhales. This provides discomfort for him in terms of breathing like he used to. He is an amazing cat. Never hurts anyone and never makes any messes and is very well behaved. Best cat anyone could ask for. But when it's time to give attention he is always there and ready. Since money to help Garry is tight, and treating him may involve surgery, and thus a lot of money, any help would be extremely appreciated! We love him and would want to help him, besides the fact that he is out pet, we don't want to see him suffer and help him

Dexter has been a member of our family after he and his brother were rescued 8 years ago in January. Dexter lives with his two brothers, Hunter and Sniper. Dexter is a bright and loving little boy would absolutely loves being held around the house and meowing at his owners for pets and belly rubs. Dexter a bubbly and sweet cat who never hurts anyone, even on accident. Dexter has recently lost several pounds. We took him to his veterinarian for a blood test and urine culture, but unfortunately after his results came back, the vet made it very clearly she was surprised he was still eating and walking around. We rushed him to VERG animal hospital, they indicated that he shows major signs of kidney disease. We are not waiting to hear what extent the disease is. Unlike his name, Dexter is the most bubbly, loving, and sweetest cat you will ever meet. He runs around the house crying at his owners to be picked up and kissed. This is to the point we even have a special scarf so we can walk around with him tied to us. He is extremely connect to his twin brother, Sniper, and older brother, Hunter. They are always found cuddled together in a circle on my bed. My husband and I both work in the DOE, he is a SPED teacher and I am a school social worker. This 7.2 k dollar vet bill that may go up to 11k is not something we were prepared for or ever expected but Dexter's life means everything to us.

Apollo

Apollo is a 6 year old Siberian Husky in Ada, OK, who needs $450 for Ear Cytology and Treatment.

We currently live in Ada. Only Apollos daddy works because I have to stay home with him so he doesn’t get separation anxiety and tear up the house. We rent, pay our bills, buy him food, treats, grooming and hygiene, and go for walks/runs with him daily. He is rather bossy and demanding. His vet is Ada veterinary clinic in Ada Oklahoma, we are needing to get his ear checked out. He escaped, got beat up by another dog and his ear torn up, it has healed but it has been giving him issues for a little bit. Apollo was a rescue. We’ve had him for 6 years. He is the weirdest dog I’ve ever had. He’s so goofy and weird, but he is our weirdo and we love him. He is an escape artist! There is no fence that can contain him. If he can’t jump it he will run along it, then up it and walk on the fence top until he reaches a freedom point, or will dig. We can’t leave him home alone even in a crate he gets out. We were homeless for two years, due to a busted pipe I paid to repair what I could but we became homeless again when my aunt sold my grandpas home without giving us any notice, but we stayed with friends from march-august 2024, our emergency fund is what paid for repairs.
