Hope is fighting for his life. And he needs help now. 💔 Rescued by Baw Baw Animal Welfare, Hope has been diagnosed with several serious conditions, including hind limb paralysis, heartworm disease, a severe systemic infection, severe anemia, and fungal dermatitis. He is incredibly sick, and his body is facing more than any dog should have to endure. Thankfully, Hope has tested negative for canine distemper, and treatments have already begun for his curable conditions. He is receiving doxycycline, heartworm medication, and supportive care. But this is only the beginning. Hope needs immediate, close monitoring and ongoing supportive care. His condition is fragile, and if he worsens, he may need emergency veterinary attention. Every hour matters for this very ill boy. Foxy is suffering and in pain. She has a massive abscess on her gum, and needs urgent surgery to relieve the infection. But Foxy's human mom, Lisa M., has been dealing with financial disasters and is pleading for help to pay for Foxy's critical operation. "I was laid off last year and as a result was never fully was able to catch up on bills," Lisa tells Waggle. "Recently, I was rear-ended by a woman who didn't have insurance, so I had to pay for it all and file for bankruptcy." Lisa saved Foxy off Craigslist. "As soon as I rescued her, I learned she was in a kennel most of her puppy life, so I knew she was going to need tons of extra care," Lisa says. "In the last two years, she became completely blind. Dr. Martinez is her veterinarian. He is at Caring Hands Animal Clinic. I trust him and his staff. They are his family. I feel Foxy will be in good hands." Foxy has become such an essential part of Lisa's life. She is hoping you might help "pay it forward" and help Foxy this holiday season. "Foxy is a beautiful, strong alpha female," Lisa adds. "She has always been a boss to her smaller family members. She grooms them, and even us if we let her. She is my guardian and still is despite the fact that she is blind."

My name is Brenna I’m gunners owner gunner was kicked by a horse on 1/27/24 his eye needs to be removed he has three boys that love him endlessly I don’t have the money to pay 647 dollars for his surgery I’m desperate I want my kids to have their puppy back he is currently being held at a vets office in west Monroe Louisiana Gunner lives to snuggle his kids he lives sleeping with his babies he loves going camping and spending time with his human family this tragedy has brought a lot of trauma to my children and myself gunner has been with us three years he was a gift to me on Easter of 2021 I was a single momma looking for a companion and we found that in each other he means the world to us Gunner loves talking to you and he loves sleeping under his blanket by my side he is such a happy boy he is constantly talking and running around he always is wanting his belly scratches day and night always so cuddly and very protective of us On 1/27/24 at approximately 10:45 gunner wondered off down the road where the neighbors who have horses and one of them stomped my dog to where his eye needs emergency surgery the emergency vet is charging me $647 they won’t operate unless they have the money upfront I’m a single mom with three kids and this is by far the worst blow this year our fur baby in critical condition It would mean the world to my children if their puppy could come home to them I’m a single mom living paycheck to paycheck barely making ends meet gunner needs his eyes removed and surgery is expensive $647 before the even operate on our fur baby I don’t know where to turn😭

Skye was found in a parking lot as a pup. She started to get big so the people who found her said they couldnt take care of a big dog, we took her. She has been an amazing addition to our family. I suffer with anxiety and depression and my kids have autism. She is the best emotional support. She has to stay at the animal hospital and it is killing us. She was diagnosed with open pyometra. Skye has been diagnosed with open pyometra. It is treatable with surgery. If we dont do the surgery she will die. She is currently being held at Eagles Nest Veterinary hospital in King George, VA. Skye is special because she is so lovable. She loves every person she has ever met. She was so easy trained and is very vocal about her excitement. She is a fierce protector when it comes to all of us. She is always happy and playful. Our financial situation is horrible. We live check to check as it is. The emergency vet was $300 and now her vet is estimating $1700 for the surgery to save her life. This unexpected expense will mean we cannot pay our mortgage.

I rescued sweet ZEVA 5 years ago. She is my service dog & best friend. Had a tough start her first 2 1/2 years. They thought she was part of a dog fighting ring, but you’d never know it by how sweet she is. She was def used 4 a lot of breeding. tail is wagging constantly When I adopted her she had heartworms, which were successfully treated.she now has cancer. I depend on her 4 daily needs She had the cancerous tumor removed but it was discovered it has spread. Without chemo, the guess is she won’t make it 6 months. With chemo, best guess is close to 2 years. I need and want her here as long as possible healthy and pain free I rely on her daily for assistance in her capacity as service dog. Plus I love her so much and even 2 years is not enough! She loves her toys and especially her treats. And lce cream!! She is extremely smart and when she needs something, she lets us know through verbal noises. Then she shows us what she needs ask her and she shakes her head 1x yes. She is probably the most special dog I’ve had and I rely on her a lot. And of course, she goes everywhere with me. Superb travel buddy Having ZEVA has made my disabilities much easier to manage. I am disabled and do live on social security disability. I’m also in the process of moving to the beach. She LOVES the beac. I want so much for her to live long and healthy enough to enjoy the beach until the end.

Luna (meaning “moon”) is the most special dog I’ve ever had. I have always had an infatuation with moons. My name is Chelsea and I am a disabled vet with severe PTSD on a fixed income and have acquired 4 dogs for my emotional support. Out of all 4 of them Luna is my biggest supporter. She needs surgery due to a radius/ulna fracture. She is too young to have limitations in the future. Thank you! Norco animal hospital saw Luna 7 weeks ago which already cost $600 they stabilized her by casting her leg which I have to pay for weekly 100$ to have it re-wrapped. I have a quote for surgery and after care costing $5400 to put pins in her arm to ensure she has a full life in the future. This includes all medications/surgery/aftercare/shots/sedation and x-rays Luna is a one person dog. She loves her mom! But she also loves running around the backyard with all the other dogs which is how she acquired her injury. She loves chicken and fish. Biggest cuddler. Truly my baby lap dog 🐕 very caring and supportive and loving. I am going through a terrible divorce which ended in domestic violence. I have suffered a tbi due to a car accident and I am a disabled vet with severe ptsd on a fixed income now.

We adopted Chase from the local shelter when we brought our daughter (who was 2 at the time) to see the dogs and he got along with her amazingly. Chase is around 8 years old and such a wonderful family dog. He sleeps with our oldest son, always listens to mom, plays with our middle child, loves to be next to dad, and lets Rowan dress him up. He got the nickname Princess because he acts like one! Chase was hit by a car has suffered a dislocated leg. Unfortunately, 2 days after being put back in place, it dislocated again. We were informed that it now requires urgent surgery. Without this procedure, he may lose the ability to walk normally, run, or enjoy the playful life he’s always loved. Seeing Chase in pain & unable to move freely is heartbreaking. Chase is patient, sweet and goofy! He lets our youngest dress him up & try to ride him. He’s earned the nickname Princess because he will only go potty if he’s buried deep in a bush, refuses to eat unless we “season” his food, and needs lots of blankets for bed. He loves morning walks with our oldest & nighttime walks with Dad. When mom talks to him, he barks joyfully. Chase is truly the best. I recently lost my job & we do not have an emergency savings or credit cards to fall back on. The cost of his initial emergency visits to the vet cost us $2300 that we didn’t have to spare. To be unable to help him when he’s given us so much love is heartbreaking.

Donut came into our life about 2.5 years ago. He is currently the only pet in our home. Donut is a corgi. He is full of energy and life! He is an awesome dog. About a week and half ago something triggered him and he bit me. Im trying everything I can to help him. I took him to the vet and its going to be $500 to get him neutered and blood work. The blood work includes lime disease and other factors. We take him to Akeso vet in canonsburg pa Donut was for me but he is more my 12 year old daughters dogs. He has help detect when my fiance sugar is too low or too high. He has help me when I have had seizures This is something we wanted to do but we were going to save for it. It's something we need to do now and I just dont have it and won't for a while.
