Tank

Tank is a 10 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in York, PA, who needs $1,400 for Surgery to Remove Tumors.

York, PA

Tank came into my life when he was just a puppy, and it all started with my brother. He had taken on the responsibility of caring for Tank, but soon realized that he couldn't keep up with the demands of puppy parenthood. This is when things took a turn for the better for me and for Tank. My nieces had already given him the name "Tank," full of affection and personality, before my brother figured Tank, my beloved dog, has been diagnosed with cancer, and tumors are rapidly growing on his body. Surgery is the only option to improve his quality of life and to save my fur baby. While the diagnosis is Tank is heartbreaking, I’m hopeful that with surgery and follow-up care, Tank can find relief. The veterinarian is community animal hospital. Tank, my dog, truly loves life. He revels in the rain and snow, finding joy in every drop and flake. His walks at the old memorial hospital are always an adventure, and he eagerly looks forward to them. Tank is also a big fan of his pig ears and bones, savoring every chew. He’s especially fond of any toy that squeaks, always excited to play with them. His enthusiasm for life is contagious. I’ve been trying to save for months, even trying Care Credit, Scratch Pay, and others, but I don’t make enough to qualify due to my fixed income. When I do save something than something else comes up so I'm left with nothing for his surgery.

Lilo

Lilo is a 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Springfield, OR, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization and Diagnostic Testing.

Springfield, OR

Lilo was saved from a Walmart parking lot, and appeared to have not eaten for days as just a 7(ish) week old puppy. As I saw her sweet face I knew I needed her in my life just as much if not more than she needed me. She is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet and her favorite thing is cuddling under the covers with my husband and I. Her presence lights up any room and she can make any person happy. Lilo began puking up blood abruptly, which resulted in a very quick ER vet visit. My husband and I sat waiting for answers until 3AM when they finally discharged her, still not sure what was causing it. After arriving back home, Lilo began having bowel movements with fresh blood and clots in it, and will not eat food. She’s lethargic, and has now been hospitalized while they search for the cause. Lilo is a dog that makes your heart feel warm. There really is no other way of describing it. She licks your tears when you’re sad, plays gently when you’re happy, and no matter how tired she is, will follow you whenever you get off the couch. She loves her cat and dog siblings, and all of her doggie cousins as well! Her favorite thing is eating cheese, and you could never have a bad day with her I’m 22 years old and in college. I also work full time but have an extreme amount of debt from schooling and medical bills. This was an unexpected expense which is quickly climbing in numbers with no emergency fund available.
