Diamond

Diamond is a 18-year-old Jack Russell Terrier in Lancaster, PA, who needs $1,700 for Spay and Pyometra Treatment.

Lancaster, PA

Diamond came into our lives almost eighteen years ago her and her brother Pincho was abandoned in the middle of summer with four other siblings I couldn't leave those babies outside in the heat, so I took them home, well I found homes for the four but Diamond and Pincho stole my heart and its been beautiful loving them they are the children that I never had and to see her sick is killing me. My little Diamond is the sweetest thing you've ever seen, she loves attention and kisses, she loves to cuddle, but is a Diva, she loves having children company, and love's to get rubbed, especially on her belly, then she's like a big baby and wants to sleep in your lap almost like a giant cat! But what makes me happy is when she's herself, which is not how she is right now. Diamond, sometimes has a big burst of energy and she's like a puppy again and she wants to wrestle, then she's running around the the house and barking making a big ruckus, then her and her brother Pincho wants out into the yard so that they can talk to the neighborhood dogs and then we play catch, she's very energetic for her age, even the vet doesn't believe her age when she's herself! I'm looking for a cure that the Vet say's can happen with the spay she's not herself right now, but still is trying to keep everyone happy, and she's on antibiotics right now the Vet says she can do the surgery and that she's strong enough. so that's what she needs right now. I am on a very low income, I receive SSDI and I just don't have the funds to take car of this alone, I've practically beg people for help but everyone is in a tight situation these days with the economy the way it is, so if there is any help out there please help us.

Triplex

Triplex is a 5-year-old American Bully in Marne, MI, who needs $1,166 for Colectomy.

Marne, MI

We got Triplex aka Plex, when he was 4 months old from a friend of ours, James. He was the cutest puppy with his smooshy face. We loved his trindle markings which is tri, with brindling in the tri markings. We wanted to think of a name that incorporated his amazing markings. After lots of debate and back and forth; our little family decided that Triplex would be fitting! When we got Plex, or as I like to call him, Plexipoo, our daughter was 10 and our son was almost 6. These kids have spent a large part of their life with this boy. He is my son's cuddle buddy and sleeps with him every night. The last few days he has been in the hospital have been rough on him. He is so energetic and full of love, he's the highlight they come home to after a long day at school. Plex is the biggest sweetheart you'll ever meet! We call him Mr. Happy Tail because his tail wags a million miles a minute! He is the first to greet you when you walk in the door and despite being a big boy, he still thinks he is a lap dog. His favorite thing to do is curl up next to my son...or whoever is the nearest warm body to him. Last Thursday, Plex got into our trash and ingested several pork rib bones. By Saturday evening; he wasn't acting like his usual happy, tail wagging self it was as if his personality was gone. He began having bloody diarrhea. Hes been hospitalized since, and our veterinarian was hopeful with hospitalization he could pass it. While it's moved, for 18 hours it's stopped moving. Aside from nearly depleting our savings to fix our vehicle for reliable transportation, on 11/23/2022 I was in a serious car accident and rolled the vehicle I was in 5x. I haven't been allowed back to work yet per doctors orders which has been devastating to our finances.

Brody

Brody is a 7-month-old Golden Doodle in Ormond Beach, FL, who needs $2,000 for Surgery for Foreign Object Removal.

Ormond Beach, FL

Brody is my four year old sons best friend. He was a gift from my mother and we got him when he was 10 weeks old. He is now seven months. Brody and my 8 year old golden retriever, Riley, are also inseparable. Brody is absolutely loved and adored by everyone in my household and my son hasn’t stopped crying since we’ve learned about Brody’s health needs. He is the sweetest, most calm puppy you’ve ever met. He LOVES to cuddle. Even with our cat. He gives the best hugs and always has a kiss for you the second you get home. Him and my son are best friends and can play all day long. Such a protector and lover. Anywhere I go, he follows. And if I stay in one spot, he will nap on my feet. Brody is the reason I know dogs have a sixth sense. If you’re ever having a bad day, sad, angry, emotional, he knows just how to help. The first one there to help you in a time of need. He’s better than most people. I couldn’t go through a dah without him anymore. I’d be lost without my sweet Brody bean and so would the rest of my family. After immediately taking Brody to two different vets today due to diarrhea and vomiting, we were told he has a foreign object in his body and needs surgery. He is currently hospitalized and will need surgery, anesthesia, fluids, plasma, and lots of after care. Unfortunately, due to the world today, my husband and I have fallen behind on bills. Two hurricanes, gas prices, loss of income amongst other things, this unexpected hefty expense is incredibly hard to swing, if not impossible. But I’d sell my limbs if it meant my dog was ok

Toby Castro

Toby Castro is a 7-year-old Siberian Husky in Tucson, AZ, who needs $840 for Mast Cell Tumor Removal.

Tucson, AZ

Toby was a gift from my husband. I've always wanted a Siberian Husky ever since I could remember. Toby turned out to be a very special loving ❤️ pet. No matter his size or how old he gets. Toby still believes he is the size of a small dog. Since he loves to cuddle with us. He trys squeezing himself next to us. No matter how much space their is. Toby has become a very important part of our lives. He so cute because he has this large round comfortable bed. But Toby chooses always to lay right next to us In whatever room we are in. Either next to the Bed, by our feet, on the kitchen floor while I am cooking, or in the living room while we all are watching TV. He is truly a family pet. Toby's thing is when one of us is ill. You can tell that he feels something is not right. He becomes attached to your hip. Wherever you go Toby will be right by your side. I think it's to make us feel better. Toby helps us take our mind off on how badly we are feeling. He always picks out his favorite toy's to play with. If we pick out the wrong toy. Toby will just go switch it. Just to funny. Toby has had alot of health issues. He's had multiple ear infections, multiple skin infections, he suffers from his Thyroid and he has special brand of food. Toby also suffers from a gastrointestinal stomach disorder. Toby now has a Mast Cell Tumor which the Vet. wants to do ASAP. We live on a fixed income. So those extra expenses that happen with our pets are always planned. For any major procedures involving our pets. We plan and save so we can take care of the procedure. Toby being diagnosed with Mast Cell Tumor and the Vet wants it done now.

Blitz andino

Blitz Andino is a 6-year-old Labrador retriever in Houston who needs $1,000 for Radiation Therapy.

Houston

This handsome pup came in to my life back when I was fresh out of highschool living with my brother on his couch. I’ve had him since he was a puppy literally about a month and a half and since then we had a bond he’s such a happy, outgoing pup. He is honestly the most human being dog ever when it comes to the attitude and the back talk aka snarls he truly makes my days so much better. Blitz honestly doesn’t care where to sleep if it’s not on his side of the bed which is the left or on the floor down by my feet. Or he will cuddle up on the rug right next to me never leaving my side. I would honestly say he talks in the funniest ways, he snarls to respond to questions or huffs and puffs when I don’t give him any snacks. He loves playing fetch and just passing the time walking. He is a very strange dog he sleeps on the pillows like a human. He has his own side on the bed and hates when someone is in it and he wants to lay down. He will look at whoever it is and snarl and give them daggers until they move. He absolutely loves tearing up stuffed animals and ripping the stuffing and squeakers out just for dad to come and clean up behind him. Unfortunately I came to find out that my best friend has a brain tumor that could possibly be a glioma. It’s located on his right frontal lobe and midway of his brain. Thankfully gulf coast veterinary specialists were able to find the tumor and give me an option with radiation therapy to give him the best possibly remaining time he has. Dr DiBernardi has been incredible with the clarity of it all. In all honesty I never imagined this happening because I kept up with all his records so when the seizure unexpectedly happened it did raise concerns. It being so sudden I didn’t save up enough money to cover everything plus it’s so extensive. Anything truly helps

Lacey Lou

Lacey Lou is a 7-year-old Blue heeler mix Dog in Streetsboro , OH, who needs $2,000 for CHOP (chemo) protocol for Lymphoma.

Streetsboro, OH

The best decision I made in college was rescuing Lacey. She currently lives with me and her two siblings - Zeena and Percy. Lacey is the motherly pup. She is part blue heeler, so she has the prettiest coat. She can’t go a day without a ball and she will play until YOU fall asleep. Fetch is her favorite. So is cuddling, she is the best snuggle bug in the world. Lacey is 7 years old. And my BFF. She is family. She will have a conversation with you. She is so bossy 😂 Lacey and Zeena never are apart, they do everything together. Sometimes they let Percy join the pack - Lacey makes it very clear she’s the alpha. It scares me to think about Zeena not having her partner in crime. Zeena is 6 and Lacey helped me raise her. Lacey loves coming to work at my nursing home and visiting the Residents This dog will crack you up. She will grab your arm and make you pay attention to her. That doesn’t work? She’s going to nudge your face lol. This dog is so adamant about her balls, you can hide a ball and she will know where it is 3 months later. She amazes us. This dog is the first dog I raised on my own, in my first apartment at college - she and I had a lot of time together to teach one another First - shout out to MedVet Cleveland West for taking care of Lacey. Unfortunately, the late summer of 2020 was when Lacey was diagnosed with lymphoma. Lacey is my hyper, obedient, loyal, such a smart dog, ball-loving, squeaky toy-loving best friend. My 3 dogs are a pack. They are inseparable and I can’t picture life without any of them. They are my saving graces. And they rely on each other. It would mean the absolute world if we had some assistance to put Lacey thru her 3rd round of CHOP protocol. She had almost one year of remission for each round completed. She has quality of life. And she gives me quality of life…cancer sucks.

Photo of Saber

Saber

Saber is a 2-year-old Shepherd in Oklahoma City, OK, who needs $2,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) for a torn cruciate ligament.

Oklahoma City, OK

My name is Susan Martin. I live in Oklahoma City with my 80 year old mother and 20 year old daughter. We own the most wonderful dog that has rescued our family with nothing but unconditional love. He is very loyal and loving. Saber was found at the local animal shelter by my daughter. As soon as she saw him she fell in love. Saber has become ill. Injured I think somehow. We are here every day all day with Saber. He began to limp some time ago and the limping has gotten worse over time. He doesn't move, doesn't get up due to the pain in his hip. The pain is so bad he is drooling/ salivating. As a result he has lost his appetite and has difficulty eating. We have to bring his food to him, feeding him as he lay. I am a single mother taking care of my elderly mother as well. She requires 24 hour care which makes it difficult for me to work full time. To make extra money I Doordash and Uber. That way I can work at my own time and pace as needed around her schedule and needs. The issue we are having is a financial one. I agree that having a dog is a huge responsibility and can incur costs that are not expected for sure. But the cost of a surgery is something none of us thought of or prepared for. The doctor at the clinic said it would be around $3000 for the surgery. That amount of money is so out of our ability we don't know what to do at this point. Saber has a favorite friend name Kali, my daughter. Where she goes so does Saber. He entered our lives at just the right time to begin the healing process we all needed. He is the healing for us brought by an angel. He was meant for our family and I cant see myself living without him in our lives.

Macie

Macie is a 9-year-old Bichon Frise/Miniature Poodle in Monroe, MI, who needs $805 for Mass Removal and Dex Suppression Test.

Monroe, MI

I adopted my little Min Poodle/Bichon Frise from our local humane society. She was dropped off at the shelter 1 hour before I arrived. When I saw her nose poking through the cage bars, I just knew I had to adopt her! I was absolutely head over heals for her! I found out her owner passed away while filling out the application to adopt. Her name was ZsaZsa but to me she looked like a Macie Macie is 9 yrs old. She gets along great with everyone, Including my daughters pit mix, my mom’s schnauzer and the cats. She absolutely loves my great grandchildren. Because Macie is older, she really doesn’t play. I haven’t understood why yet though. She gets super excited at mealtimes, Loves to go outside for a little bit as she doesn’t tolerate heat well at all. I’m on SSI. My income is small. I’m saving up for Macie to have a wheelchair because she has a pinched nerve in her spine and by late afternoon to early evening, she will no longer walk and scoots on her bottom. I really need the help for her tests and surgery. Macie may have Cushing’s & needs an 8 hr for it. She has hair loss, excessive panting, always thirsty, reduced activity (could be why she doesn’t play) & just recently treated for an upper respiratory infection. She also has tumors in her abdomen that need to be removed and sent off to the lab. Dr Rob Comanescu is her veterinarian at River Raisin Vet Clinic in Monroe, Michigan. I’ll never forget when I heard Macie’s first bark. It was almost like a chirp. She can be a bit bossy when she wants me to pick her up. It’s quite funny, because I love to hear her bark and be sassy. She’s so adorable while she’s making her bed with her puppy cover, pulling it with her teeth and fluffing it with her paws.
