Babygirl

Babygirl is a 14 year old American Shorthair in Hanson, MA, who needs $2,000 for Internal Medicine Treatment.

Plympton, MA

Babygirl came into my life in 2010 when she hopped in my mother bag at the shelter. She along with her mother & sister were found in a box on the side of a highway, Babygirl was the only one to survive. Babygirl then moved from my parents house to my husbands & my home after her well established bond with me. She has been the Queen of the house since, occasionally acknowledging her new cat sister. When living at my parents house with 3 other male cats, Babygirl developed a skin condition. It was hard to manage with other cats with a strict diet, so moving with me was the best for her care. After a change in diet, we discovered she was allergic to seafood. Her white blood cell count has always been high due to the allergy but in recent visits to the vet, a Mass/ Tumor was discovered. Babygirl, also known as Ma'am in her later years has a personality like no other. She knows shes the queen of the house & has just about everyone wrapped around her paw. She demands attention, she will yell at you if you do not give it to her. She loves to lay on your shoulders like a parrot and will always come down the stairs to vocally tell you its time for bed. She will then escort you up. My Babygirl is my child, I have had her through my toughest of times. Through my endometriosis diagnoses to my husbands affair resulting in an affair child. She is my rock through it all. I have maxed out credit cards trying to pay for her health but its becoming too much.

Bo

Bo is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in York, PA, who needs $1,142 for Multiple Tooth Extraction, Tartar/Abscess Removal.

York, PA

Bo is a pug mix who was adopted into our home as a rescue. From the moment we saw him at the shelter, we knew he was a part of our family. He's been with us for 8 years now, and is the best companion any of us have ever had. He's a little old man who has never failed to make us feel better, even in the hardest of times. We want to return the favor and get rid of his pain. Bo was rescued at the age of 1 from the streets, and came to us with dental issues. Originally, it was just tartar build-up that wasn't bothering him. Over the years, it's progressed and led to abscesses, tooth-infections, and lots of pain for him. He needs surgery to treat the abscesses and remove damaged teeth. Watching him shake in pain and hesitate to eat has been so difficult for us. Bo is the most loving dog you will ever meet. He loves everyone, and adores pets. He spends most of his time cuddled up on the couch with his owners and his two feline sisters. He goes wild over anything pumpkin flavored. He hates the rain and snow, and always has. He'll go as far as wriggling out of his harness to run back towards the house if we try to walk him while it's raining or snowing. We have always struggled to make ends-meet, sometimes even having our electricity shut off due to not having the funds to pay it. It's always been a struggle to support ourselves and our pets, but having our boy healthy again will make give us more joy than you can imagine.

Lucy

Lucy is a 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Titusville, FL, who needs $2,000 for Phacoemulsification, Bilateral - Both Eyes.

Titusville, FL

Lucy [Magoosey] came into my life at 8 weeks old, and I was 48—our bond transformed me into a devoted Dog Dad. She quickly became best friends with my daughter’s emotional support dog, Toby. They played together in our backyard until Toby suddenly passed away last year. Lucy was heartbroken and became depressed, losing her playful spirit and the vibrant energy that once filled our home. Lucy’s grief led to significant weight gain, which is concerning for a small Morkie. Although prescription food helped, she developed pancreatitis and was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, requiring daily insulin. Recently, cataracts formed in both eyes, severely impacting her quality of life. Dr. Fife at the Veterinary Eye Institute in Orlando believes cataract surgery could restore her vision. Lucy is the heart of our family, spreading joy and love to everyone. She adores my wife and our adult children, rolling onto her back for belly rubs and snuggling on my lap. Despite her health challenges, Lucy is still very loving. Her unconditional love keeps me going through my physical struggles. We are desperate to see her quality of life and vibrant personality again. Our family faces financial strain from my spine surgeries, leading to mounting bills. Lucy’s food, insulin, and vet care add stress, and her needed cataract surgery is beyond our means. At just 8 years old, she deserves to see again and enjoy life fully. Help Lucy see again.
