Logan
Meet Logan 💙He's in need of knee surgery
Los Angeles, CA • Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue
Logan is one of Ace of Hearts’ sweetest and most playful rescue dogs—the kind of pup whose joyful energy puts a smile on your face. But all that zooming and playing has taken a toll… Logan has injured his knee and now needs urgent surgery to repair it. The procedure will cost $3,000, and without it, Logan will continue to struggle with pain and limited mobility. Ace of Hearts can’t stand to see this happy boy held back from the life he loves so much. He will also need a few weeks of rest, medication, and watchful care afterward to ensure he fully heals. Please consider donating to help Logan get the surgery he needs so he can get back to doing what he does best—running, playing, and spreading joy everywhere he goes. With Ace of Hearts repairing their facility after the Palisades fire and still caring for so many dogs, every dollar helps and is greatly appreciated! 🐾💙

70+ Dogs Need You: Support Ace of Hearts After Palisades Fire
Los Angeles, CA • Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue
On January 7th, Ace of Hearts Rescue faced a devastating loss when the Palisades fire destroyed their facility. By some miracle, none of the dogs were harmed—but the rescue was still caring for over 70 dogs at the time, all of whom needed food, shelter, and stability in the chaos. The team immediately sprang into action, checking in with foster families, moving 10 dogs from impacted homes to safer fosters, and using their 500+ volunteer network to deliver emergency food and supplies. But just as they were scrambling to care for their own dogs, a flood of desperate calls came from Angelenos who could no longer care for their pets because of the fire. Ace of Hearts took in nine additional critically injured dogs, many suffering from broken legs, burns, demodex, luxating patella, and cherry eyes. In total, 12 dogs required extensive medical care—including surgeries for broken hind legs, severe hip dysplasia, and cruciate ligament tears. The estimated cost of veterinary treatment alone is nearly $30,000. Through disaster, heartbreak, and exhaustion, Ace of Hearts refuses to give up on these dogs. But they can’t do it without your help. It will take a while for them to rebuild their facility and restock their supplies and emergency fund💔 Will you stand with Ace of Hearts Rescue and help these dogs heal? Your donation will provide surgeries, medical care, and hope for every dog depending on them right now.

After the Devastating Fire, Help Ace of Hearts Rebuild Their Facility
Los Angeles, CA • Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue
On January 7th, Ace of Hearts rescue lost everything—their beloved office, supplies, dog records, and even the founder's home was destroyed in the Palisades fire. Luckily, none of their dogs were harmed. But their office was the heart of their rescue, where they coordinated care for our 70+ dogs, managed adoptions, and ensured every dog had what they needed to thrive. Aside from their operations process, two staff members’ households were also directly affected, and they were left scrambling to find ways to replenish their resources. On the operation front, they were scrambling to find a new office and place to recuperate, and at the same time, they were checking in with their foster network to see how all of their 70+ dogs were doing. They utilized emergency transports and their 500+ volunteer network to deliver emergency food necessities and move 10 dogs from impacted foster homes to another foster that wasn’t in the line of the fire hazards. Due to the severity of the situation, a lot of LA residents reached out wanting to surrender their companion animals. They took in many critically injured dogs, ranging from broken hind legs and luxating patella to burns, demodex, and cherry eyes, among other injuries. This rescue is in dire need of assistance to rebuild its facility and continue providing the best care to its beloved dogs. Will you please support them in this devastating time? No amount is too small. Thank you!

Maggie
Can You Help Magge See Again?
Los Angeles, CA • Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue
Meet a sweet and polite American Bulldog named Maggie. She was rescued by Ace of Hearts Shelter from a Downey high-kill shelter on the day she was scheduled to be euthanized. Both of her eyes are cherry eyes, which happens when a dog’s third eyelid gland pops out of place, so it creates a red mass in the corner of the eye. It’s usually due to weak connective tissue that can’t hold the gland in its normal position. Bully breeds are particularly prone to this condition. which prevents her from fully seeing out of them properly. This condition is treatable with surgery, but it's costly for this rescue. So far, Maggie has been taking antibiotics that somewhat help, but they want to help her fully see again by getting her the proper surgery. Maggie is sweet as a button and loves cuddles and playtime. She gets along with anyone and every dog! They are so grateful to be giving Maggie all the love and care she deserves. On top of trying to care for Maggie and other dogs like her, this rescue also endured loss from the Palisades fires and has had a hard time recovering supplies and funds. They urgently need your help and support. Your support today would go directly towards Maggie's surgery to help her see again. Let's work together to give her the second chance she deserves.
