Gina and Charlie
They May Wobble, But Their Spirits Never Fall — Help Gina and Charlie Gain Their Balance
Pompano beach, FL • Beyond Nine Cat Rescue
When Beyond Nine Cat Rescue first met Gina and Charlie, the two tiny siblings immediately stole everyone’s hearts. They were full of life and curiosity, but it was clear something was different — their steps were unsteady, and they often tumbled over as they tried to walk. Soon, the rescue discovered why: both kittens were born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a neurological condition that affects Despite their wobbly walk, Gina and Charlie don’t let anything hold them back. They play, pounce, and purr their way through every day, determined to live life to the fullest. Their joyful spirits are truly inspiring — but as they grow, they’ll need some extra help to strengthen their muscles and improve their mobility. Beyond Nine Cat Rescue is sending these special kittens to a rehabilitation center, where they’ll receive physical therapy and strength-building exercises designed just for CH cats. With consistent therapy, Gina and Charlie have a real chance to improve their balance, gain confidence, and move more freely. This kind of specialized care makes all the difference, but it’s also costly. The rescue needs help covering their physical therapy sessions, rehabilitation costs, medical monitoring, and any supportive equipment they’ll need along the way. Gina and Charlie may wobble, but their spirits are unshakable. With your support, they can take their first real steps toward a stronger, brighter future. Please donate today to help them get the care they need — and deserve.

Lina
Help Lina Heal Her Burned Eye and See Without Pain
Pompano beach, FL • Beyond Nine Cat Rescue
Sweet Lina has already endured more than any kitten should. A kind person found her struggling with a painful eye issue and brought her to Beyond Nine Cat Rescue for help. We rushed her to an eye specialist, who discovered that her eye appeared to have been burned, leading to Cicatricial ectropion (a condition where the eyelid turns outward, exposing the inner tissue) and was infected. The specialist hoped to avoid surgery and first tried treating Lina’s eye topically. But despite weeks of care and medication, her condition hasn’t improved — and now, surgery is her only option to relieve her pain. Lina is such a gentle, loving kitten who deserves to live her young life without constant discomfort. She’s playful, curious, and full of light despite everything she’s been through Beyond Nine Cat Rescue is committed to giving Lina the chance she deserves — but we can’t do it without you. Her specialized surgery and follow-up care are expensive, and our small volunteer-run rescue relies entirely on donations to continue helping cats like Lina. 3/13/26 Update When little Lina first came to Beyond Nine Cat Rescue, she was in heartbreaking condition. A kind person had found her struggling with a severely injured eye that appeared to have been burned, leaving her with cicatricial ectropion, a painful condition where the eyelid turns outward and exposes the delicate inner tissue. Her eye was also infected, and we feared that surgery would be the only way to relieve her suffering. Thanks to the incredible support of this community, Lina was able to see a specialist and begin intensive treatment. At first, we were preparing for surgery after weeks of medication didn’t seem to bring improvement. But then something wonderful happened. Slowly but surely, Lina’s eye began to heal with the prescribed medication, and the specialist determined that surgery was no longer necessary. Her eye improved dramatically, sparing this tiny kitten from an invasive procedure and allowing her to continue healing comfortably. And the happy news doesn’t stop there. Sweet Lina has been adopted! She is now thriving in her loving new home, where she can finally focus on what kittens should be doing: playing, exploring, and soaking up affection. Her bright spirit and gentle nature captured hearts from the very beginning, and we are so grateful she now has the safe, happy future she deserves. To everyone who supported Lina’s care — thank you. Your kindness made it possible for us to get her the specialized treatment she needed and give her the chance at a beautiful life. Because of you, Lina’s story has the ending every rescue hopes for: healed, loved, and home.

Mei Ling
Mei Ling is a 1 year old Siamese in Pompano beach, FL, who needs $2,000 for Eye Surgery.
Pompano beach, FL • Beyond Nine Cat Rescue
Sweet Mei Ling has been through so much. She was originally trapped in Miami as part of a TNVR (trap-neuter-vaccinate-return) effort — but rescuers soon noticed something was very wrong with her eye. What they thought was a simple infection turned out to be much more serious. Mei Ling’s eyelid is actually fused to her eyeball, leaving her in constant pain. Her eye is always watery and prone to infection, and she urgently needs surgery to determine if she still has vision in that eye and to relieve her discomfort. This gentle girl was rescued by Beyond Nine Cat Rescue, a small, volunteer-run rescue that never hesitates to step in for cats like Mei Ling — even when medical costs are high. But they can’t do it alone. Your support will help cover Mei Ling’s surgery, medications, and post-op care so she can finally live pain-free and have a real chance at the comfortable, happy life she deserves.
